Abstract

Religious instructors are people who play a role in providing education, guidance, and information to the community. For this reason, the therapeutic skills of extension workers need to be improved continuously, considering that the success of counseling lies in getting the message to the community. The purpose of this study was to measure the level of therapeutic communication based on aspects of the communicator's ability, acceptance of the communicant, the message conveyed, the use of media, and the effect of the interpretation of a message. The type of research conducted is descriptive quantitative. The research subjects of this research were 32 religious instructors in the city of Padang. The data collection tool uses instrument development in the form of a valid and reliable therapeutic communication questionnaire. The data collection technique used quantitative descriptive analysis with the percentage formula. The results of this study indicate that communicators must have the ability to master problems, speak effectively, motivate, look attractive and use appropriate language. Then from the communicant aspect, the extension worker must understand the background and cultural characteristics and the level of need for the communicant for the material presented. The material aspect of the instructor should use structured, monitored, and evaluated material. The use of media in counseling is very supportive of achieving the goals of counseling. Taking into account all these qualifications, the extension worker can avoid misinterpretation of the material presented, so that the target of the extension can be achieved.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh layanan informasi terhadap tingkat pemahaman remaja tentang kesehatan reproduksi pada siswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen one group pretest-posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini 250 siswa, sedangkan sampelnya 31 siswa yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pemahaman tentang kesehatan reproduksi meningkat setelah diberikan layanan informasi, hal ini terlihat dari skor rata-rata sebelum pelayanan 20,70 kategori sedang dan skor rata-rata setelah pelayanan 27,74 kategori sangat tinggi yang menunjukan ada pengaruh layanan informasi sebesar 21,30% dengan nilai uji t = -39,845 dengan p 0,355 < 0,5. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh layanan informasi terhadap tingkat pemahaman remaja tentang kesehatan reproduksi pada siswa.Kata kunci : layanan informasi, kesehatan reproduksi, remaja THE EFFECT OF INFORMATION SERVICES ON ADOLESCENT STUDENTS UNDERSTANDING ON REPRODUCTIVE HEALTHCARE IN CLASS X MIPA 2 SMA NEGERI 6 BENGKULU SELATAN ABSTRACTThis study aimed to describing the effect of information services on adolescent students’ understanding level of reproductive healthcare. This research method used one group pretest-posttest experiment. The populations in this study 250 students, while the sample 31 students who were taken using a purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique test, the data analysis technique using t-test. The results showed that the students’ understanding on reproductive healthcare increases after being given information services, it can be seen from the average score of pre-service 20.70 moderate category and the average score post-service 27.74 the higher category shows that there is an effect in information services 21.30% with a t-test value = -39.845 with  p  0.355 < 0,5. The results of this study can be concluded that there is an effect of information services on adolescent students  understanding on reproductive healthcare.Key words: Information services, reproductive healthcare, adolescent

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh lemahnya kontrol diri remaja awal dalam mengatur waktu bermain media sosial facebook. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kontrol diri remaja awal dalam bermain media sosial facebook di Desa Daspetah Kabupaten Kepahiang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 102 dengan sampel 72 remaja awal di Desa Daspetah Kabupaten Kepahiang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner angket dengan nilai reliabilitas 0.919. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kontrol diri remaja awal dalam bermain media sosial facebook di Desa Daspetah Kabupaten Kepahiang berada pada kategori baik, yaitu 43.1% berjumlah 31 remaja awal pada kriteria tinggi, kriteria sangat tinggi 22.2 % sebanyak 16 remaja awal, rendah 33.3 % berjumlah 24 remaja awal, dan sangat rendah 1.4% sebanyak 1 remaja awal.Kata Kunci : Kontrol Diri, Remaja Awal, Media Sosial Facebook

Abstract

ABSTRAKLatar belakang penelitian ini dilakukan karena adanya tingkat resiliensi siswa yangrendah.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik cognitive resturcturing untuk meningkatkan resiliensi siswa di kelas IX G SMP Negeri 12 Kota Bengkulu. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan one group pretest- posttest design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX G SMP Negeri 12 Kota Bengkulu yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Sampel diambil dengan teknik perposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji T. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menunjukan peningkatan resiliensi siswa setelah diberikan treatment berupa bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik cognitive restructuring. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan nilai t = -6,664 dengan taraf signifikan (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 yang berarti 0,000<0,05. Temuan ini menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik cognitive restructuring terhadap resiliensi siswa di kelas IX G SMP Negeri 12 Kota Bengkulu.Kata Kunci:Resiliensi,Bimbingan Kelompok, Teknik Cognitive Restructuring.THE EFFECT OF GROUP GUIDANCE SERVICE WITH COGNITIVE RESTRUCTURING TECHNIQUES ON THE RESILIENCE OF GRADE IX STUDENTS AT SMP NEGERI 12 BENGKULU CITY ABSTRACTThe background of this research conducted because of the low level of student resilience.This study was aimed to describe the effect of group counseling services by using the cognitive restructuring technique to improve the student’s resilience in the class of IX G at SMP 12 Bengkulu City. The method of this study was used experimental research which using one group pre-test post-test design. The populations of this study were 26 students in the class of IX G at SMP 12  Bengkulu City. The samples of this study were taken by using perposive sampling technique. The data were collected by using questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using T-test. The result of this study showed the improvement of student’s resilience after being given treatment in form of group counseling by using cognitive restructuring technique. It is also indicated the T score was about -6,664 with the significant level (2-tailed) of 0,000 which means 0,000 < 0,05. These finding revealed that there was an effect of group guidance services by using the cognitive restructuring technique on students’ resilience in the class of IX G at SMP 12 Bengkulu City.Keywords: Resilience, Group Counseling, Cognitive Restructuring Technique.

Abstract

Full day school merupakan pilihan untuk mengatasi berbagai persoalan pendidikan, baik secara akademis maupun dari segi moralitas dan karakter. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat apakah ada hubungan antara pembelajaran full day school dan karakter peduli sosial siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasional untuk melakukan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 85 siswa dari SMP IT Hidayatullah Kota Bengkulu pada kelas VII, VIII, dan IX. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 46 siswa yang diambil dari seluruh kelas VII, VIII, dan IX dengan bantuan statified random sampling. Instrumen pembelajaran full day school memiliki reliabilitas 0,788, sedangkan instrumen karakter peduli sosial memiliki reliabilitas 0,759. Dengan rxy 0,448 dan tingkat signifikan 0,002 (p0,05), temuan mengungkapkan hubungan yang kuat antara pembelajaran pembelajaran full day school dan karakter peduli sosial. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara pembelajaran full day school dengan karakter peduli sosial.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran full day school, karakter peduli sosial CORRELATION BETWEEN FULL DAY SCHOOL LEARNING WITH SOCIAL CARE CHARACTERS OF STUDENTS OF IT HIDAYATULLAH SMP BENGKULU CITY ANDIMPLICATIONS OFGUIDANCE AND COUNSELINGABSTRAKIt is a full-day school an option to solve a variety of educational issues, both academically and when it comes to morality and character. The purpose of this study was to see whether there had been a relationship between full day schooling and after-school activities social care character of students. This study uses a correlational approach to conduct descriptive quantitative research this study's participants were 85 students from SMP IT Hidayatullah Bengkulu City in grades VII, VIII, and IX. The research sample consisted of 46 students taken from all grades VII, VIII, and IX using statified random sampling technique. The full day school learning the instrument offers a high level of dependability 0.788, while the social care character the instrument offers a high level of dependability. 0.759. With an rxy of 0.448 and a significant level of 0.002 (p0.05), the findings reveal a considerable positive association between the two variables full day school learning and social care characters. This shows that there is a relationship between full day school learning and social care characters.Keywords: full day school learning, social care character

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektifitas layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik role playing untuk mengurangi ketidaksantunan berbahasa pada siswa SMP Negeri 2 Kota Pagar Alam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one grup pretest dan postest. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, dalam penelitian ini diambil sampel 10 orang siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 2 kota Pagar Alam. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya penurunan yang signifikan efektifitas layanan bimbingan kelompok untuk mengurangi ketidaksantunan berbahasa siswa. Hal ini dapat terlihat dari hasil pengujian hipotetis dengan hasil uji t 11,184, nilai sig sebesar 0,000 (<0,005) maka Ho ditolak. This research was an experimental research and used one group pretest and post-test researchs design. The sampling technique used in this research was purposive sampling, the participant of this research took 10 students of class VIII A SMP Negeri 2 Kota Pagar Alam. The result obtained from this research showed that there was a significant decrease of the effectivity of group counseling to reduced the language impoliteness among the students. This result could be seen from t test result 11.184, the sig value of 0.000 (<0.005) so Ho was rejected. Then it could be concluded that there was an effectiveness of group guidance services with role playing techniques to reduced students' language impoliteness.Keywords : group counseling, role playing, language impoliteness

Abstract

The aim of this article is to examine the career maturity profile of University of Bengkulu Guidance and Counselling student. This research is a census study, all the population is used as a sample. There are nine tribes in this study consisting of Serawai, Javanese, Rejang, Minang, Palembang and Lintang, Basemah, Batak, Lembak and Bengkulu, and others. A career maturity questionnaire was employed as the instrument. The descriptive statistical analysis and the Kruskal Wallis Statistical Test were used to analyse the data. The results showed that there was no significant difference between the career maturity profiles of students from different ethnic backgrounds. The results of this study can be used as a basis for developing student career development programs.

Abstract

Students in the learning process often experience social problems such as rampant aggressive behaviour. An environment that rarely instils local cultural values can trigger the erosion of ethics and morals. Through the cultivation of local wisdom, it is hoped that it will be able to reintroduce students to the cultural values that belong to Indonesia. Efforts to overcome student aggressiveness can be made with group guidance through the internalization of local wisdom values. This study aimed to describe the differences in student aggressiveness before and after being given a treatment of group guidance services through the internalization of local wisdom values (Indigenous Knowledge). The method used is pre-experimental with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design approach. The population of this study were all students of class IX at a Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The data analysis technique using the T-test showed a value of t = 10.774 and sig (2-tailed) 0.000, meaning 0.000 ˂ 0.05. Based on score data, group guidance through the internalization of indigenous knowledge values is effective in reducing student aggressiveness.

Abstract

Anxiety is a mental condition filled with worry and fear of what might happen, both related to limited problems and strange things. Anxiety caused by students will bring up problems related to motivation, achievement, and psychological impact. Anxiety experienced by students related to the academic burden, including in the preparation of the thesis is also called academic anxiety or academic anxiety. The purpose of this research is to: (1) describe the level of academix anxiety before being given group counseling services through poetry therapy techniques (2) describe the level of academix anxiety after being given group counseling services through poetry therapy techniques (3) the difference in levels of academix anxiety before and after given group counseling services through poetry therapy techniques. The research method used in this study is a pre-experimental design research. The sample in this study was 5th semester BK students who were indicated to have academic anxiety. This research uses One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The results of the study indicate that there is an effect of group counseling with poetry therapy techniques to reduce academic anxiety in students so that there can be a decrease in the level of anxiety experienced by students. This can be seen in the changes that occur from the results of the pretest and posttest with the average obtained before the action is 135 and after the action is given the average result is 97, supported by the results of the paired sample t-test hypothesis test which shows a significant value of 0.000 < 0.005. So from these results it was found that group counseling services with poetry therapy techniques were able to reduce academic anxiety experienced by BK students.

Abstract

Research related to flourishing has so far been centered on the western context and limited to the context of education in Indonesia. Even though Indonesia is a plural country that requires studies related to this topic to encourage a harmonious atmosphere for students in the educational environment. Flourishing students refers to the condition of individuals who are able to achieve optimal development and function fully . This study aims to describe the profile of student flourishing in terms of the Bengkulu subculture. There are six different tribes in this study consisting of Serawai, Rejang, Lembak, Javanese, Minangkabau and Batak. This research is a quantitative research with a survey type. A total of 360 students from 5 (five) major universities in Bengkulu Province filled out the survey. The instrument used is the flourishing scale ( PERMA Profile measure ), which was adapted from Julie Butler Margaret L. Kern (2016). Data analysis used descriptive analysis and the Kruskal Wallis statistical test . The results showed that the respondents had different tendencies in describing the flourishing conditions of each subculture. This research is an empirical fact that students have a level of flourishing which is still classified as moderate, and there are still many students in the low category. Each description of the flourishing of Bengkulu subculture students can be seen from the results of each indicator obtained.
