Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of the Indonesian national qualification framework curriculum in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program IAIN Curup was conducted. This type of research is qualitative and the data collection method is interviews and documentation. The research subjects were lecturers and students of PGMI IAIN Curup. Data analysis starts from data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are that the implementation of the Indonesian national qualification framework curriculum has not been optimal due to various factors including; assistance has not been optimal by LPM IAIN Curup as a center for academic quality control, the Semester Learning Plan which is an extension of the KKNI is just a formality, and not all PGMI lecturers understand the KKNI well. To anticipate these things, what needs to be done is that the PGMI Study Program conducts focus group discussions involving study program devices, lecturers and student representatives, LPM makes official standard rules so that all study programs are uniformly applied, comparisons of the KKNI curriculum with similar study programs so that you know orientation and bring up curriculum updates in accordance with the PGMI IAIN Curup Study Program.

Abstract

Googgle Classroom learning integrated with Kahoot is online learning that utilizes two learning media into a series of fun and meaningful  learning process flows for students. Google Classroom as a classroom for teachers and students that is integrated with Kahoot which is a quiz game application where each question refers to the learning material. This study aims to determine the effect of learning google classroom integrated with kahoot on the interest and learning outcomes of students in science subjects water cycle material. This is quantitative study with quasi-experimental research design (Quasi Experiment) with sample of 52 fifth grade students consisting of 26 class V A (experimental class) and 26 class V B (control class) at MI Miftahul Akhlaqiyah, Ngaliyan, Semarang City. Analysis using normality test, homogeneity, and independent t test. First, this learning can increase students' interest in learning where the calculation results are obtained t = 7.071; df= 50; p= 0.000. Second, this learning can improve learning outcomes where the calculation results are obtained t = 3.919; df= 50; p= 0.000. Thus, this learning can be used to increase student interest and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Education is one of leading sectors in the development of student character. Specifically, it aims to identify character values and integrate them into elementary school’s life. Kejei dance is one of the dances in which there are character values that have a role in shaping elementary school students’ character with God, themselves, others, and their nationality which expressed in every movement of the Kejei dance. The purpose of this study was to discover the meaning contained in the various basic movements of the Kejei dance in the process of shaping elementary students’ character. This research belonged to qualitative research with a narrative approach. Primary data sources are taken from observing the variety of movements of the Kejei dance. In other words, the data were collected through observation and interviews. Afterwards, the data gathered were analyzed through data reduction and conclusions. The results showed that the Kejei dance contains the meaning and value of character education which is reflected in several types of movements including Sembah Menari movement, Bederap Salah Pinggang movement, Metik Jari movement, Mateak Dayung movement, Sembah Penyudo movement, and Mendayung movement. In sum, the overall meanings of the basic movements of the Kejei dance show religious values, tolerance, discipline, and communication.

Abstract

Mathematical myths/beliefs are mental representations or views held by an individual towards mathematics, which may be constructed as a result of social experience, mediated through school, parents, peers or mass media. The purpose of this research is to examine the myths that exist and are believed by people or someone who has been the object of learning mathematics. The research method used in this research is library research/library research. To achieve this goal, this research article is supported by various literatures sourced from journals or scientific articles that discuss topics with keywords: mathematical problems, difficulty analysis, as well as journals that have criteria such as; published in the last five years, and is already indexed. Searching for reference sources resulted in 42 journals or articles consisting of 16 international articles, 28 national journals, and 4 printed books. which is difficult, 3) mathematics is about numbers and abstract objects, 4) mathematics is about right or wrong, 5) learning mathematics is terror anxiety/fear, and 6) math is the same as brain processing.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce an android-based learning media that can be used by sixth-grade elementary school (SD) students with the content of science subjects on theme 9 with material on the solar system. The background of this research is the boredom of students in implementing Distance Learning (PJJ) so that it requires interesting learning media that can be used anytime and anywhere offline. This research is a development research (R&D) using the ADDIE model procedure. Analysis of the data used is quantitative data analysis. The validation used is media and material validation carried out by experts in their fields. The respondents who were involved in testing the feasibility of the media included class VI teachers, and 20 elementary school students in class VI. The results of this study indicate that the Sembia Sosis (Happy Easy Learning Natural Sciences material for Solar Systems) application which was developed has the characteristics of a file in the form of an application package (apk) that can be installed and run using android that supports students to study independently. Based on the results of expert validation and respondents, overall it was concluded that the Sembia Sosis application suitable for use as a learning medium.

Abstract

Social Sciences Education is a study of the social sciences and humanities that aims to improve citizens' abilities. The social studies disciplines in Indonesia are aimed at helping students gain information, awareness, and analytical skills regarding a society's social conditions as they prepare to enter a dynamic society. The foundation of social studies is reality and social phenomena, which are achieved through an interdisciplinary approach from many social science areas. Over time, social studies education in elementary schools has undergone various developments and curriculum changes. In Indonesia, social science education was introduced in 1975 and used the 1975–2006 curriculum. With the materials separately, the development and renewal of the curriculum took place so as to create the 2013 curriculum, which packs social studies education materials in an integrated manner. These changes and developments aim to improve the quality of Indonesian education and create students who can think critically in order to meet the challenges of the times so that they can compete globally. The author collects data through a literature review in order to write this scientific essay. It is intended that by writing this article, the author will be able to describe the evolution of social studies education in Indonesia at the primary school level, as well as the advantages of the many curricula utilized.
