Abstract

The domination of the interpretation of the Koran that tends to gender bias has been continued until now. Therefore the presence of Wadud as a feminist thinker to be interesting discussed. This article is to track the social and intellectual background that affect her points of views in term of tafsir and its relevance for developing feminist tafsir in Indonesia. This paper used the philosophical and hermeneutical approach. The data were collected by the method of documentation and discussed with the content analysis. The conclusions among others that Wadud has given a contribution in breaking down the traditional interpretation of the Koran by offering a critical approach to interpret  the Koran based on the awareness of  tauhid and analyse the preor-text in the interpretive process. This model of tafsir can be developed in Indonesian tafsir that still be dominated by male commentators, therefore in a certain level still become gender biased. It can be reproduced becoming an alternative feminist tafsir   to build harmony sociaty in Indonesia.

Abstract

Tulisan ini menjelaskan hasil pengabdian dengan tema “Kajian Tafsir Jalalain karya Imam Al-Mahally dan Imam Al-Suyuti di MasjidJami’ Baitul Fattah Kelumpit Kecamatan Gebog Kabupaten Kudus”.Tafsir Jalalain adalah salah satu karya tafsir terpopuler yang banyakdikaji oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Oleh karena itu sangat tepat kiranya,ketika kitab tersebut dipakai untuk memakmurkan masjid Baitul Fattahyang ada di desa Klumpit Gebog Kudus. Karena tafsir jalalain adalahkitab tafsir yang mudah untuk dipahami dengan pemahaman yangsimple. Di tengah-tengah masyarakat yang awam dan perlu motivasidalam menghidupkan kajian Islam, maka kajian ini begitu berarti bagimasyarakat ketika dibawakan dengan model dan gaya penyampaian yang beragam/ variatif tidak monoton. Hasilnya masyarakat jama’ah di Masjid Baitul Fattah semakin tertarik untuk memakmurkan masjidsekaligus mulai tumbuh kecintaannya terhadap kajian keislamantersebut.

Abstract

This study describes the time management of students in Daar al-Furqon Islamic boarding school in memorizing the Qur'an. Santri Daar al-Furqon made good use of time in accordance with the schedule of Islamic boarding school activities. In surah al-Ashr explaining the importance of time, students who memorize the Qur'an must use their time well so that they do not become losers. The purpose of this study was to determine how the time division of santri tahfidz Daar al-Furqon Janggalan, Kota, Kudus. And the use of time in accordance with the interpretation of Surah al-Ashr in the interpretation of al-Misbah relating to time management. Research using field research methods with a qualitative approach. Data collection uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques. While the data analysis is done through data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions or data verification. The results showed that given the importance of time and loss for people who waste their time and use their time properly in accordance with the schedule in the boarding school. And every student must have time management so that they can utilize memorization time well, by running time management students can get good results from the work done.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melihat konsekuensi keimanandengan perintah berjihad dalam al-Qur’an. Pada dasarnya, konsepberjihad, mendapatkan porsi yang cukup besar dalam al-Qur’an.Konsep jihad dan perang (qita>l) merunut pada peperangan yangdilangsungkan oleh Nabi Muhammad Saw. seperti Perang Badar,Perang Uhud, Perang Khondaq dan lainnya. Sedangkan al-Qur’ansendiri telah menegaskan bahwa kemenangan ataupun kekalahanyang diperoleh umat Islam melalui peperangan tersebut pastimemiliki hikmah, dan Allah sendiri menjanjikan pahala berlipatbagi setiap muslim yang gugur di medan perang. Q.S. Ali Imran:141-150 ini secara umum menyajikan prinsip-prinsip pentinguntuk meraih surga. Surga yang dijanjikan Allah dan dilimpahiberbagai kenikmatan dapat dibuka dengan dua kunci utama, yaknijihad f >sabililla>h dan kesabaran.

Abstract

Al-Qur'an reception does not only occur in the offline world. It also happens in the online world, especially in the social media space. This paper intends to conduct a study of the reception of the al-Qur’an on social media, especially related to the film Ghibah that aired on YouTube. This research uses reception theory and idea transformation, this paper will reveal how the Qur'an receptions and the transformation of the unfortunate ideas contained in the film. The results of this study are the first, three groups of scenes in the film Ghibah receptive to three pieces of verse 12 of Surah al-Hujurat, namely believers are forbidden from gossiping, eating the meat of the gossiped and pious. The film is then received a hegemonic reception by viewers who agree and accept the contents of the message conveyed. Secondly, the idea of gossip when it is published in the film experiences shrinking and summarizing from those contained in the books of interpretation. The scenes that appear and the text that appears in the middle of the film become an important factor in the transformation.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pandangan Al-Qur’anihwal bencana alam. Ada sembilan kata yang diketahui berisipandangan Al-Qur’an soal bencana: zhulumât, al-kubar, al-karb,sû’, nailan, ‘adzâb, sayyi’ah, dâ’irah, dan mushîbah. Sementaraitu, ada enam bencana alam yang disinggung Al-Qur’an, sepertibanjir, gempa, angin topan, hujan batu, kemarau, dan kelaparan.Dari keenam bencana alam itu, diskusi mengenai bencana apakahsebagai ujian atau siksa, diketahui lebih banyak sebagai siksa. Meskidemikian, bencana tidak bisa dicegah, hanya bisa diantisipasi saja.Cara orang melalui bencana juga ada beraneka, yang berbandinglurus dengan misteri bencana, yang kemudian dianggap sebagaihikmah.

Abstract

This article discusses about two figures’ thought, William Montgomery Watt and Richard Bell, about the Qur’an, especially about naskh or an-nasikh wa-l-mansukh in the Qur’an. The discussion about the theory of naskh evidently results different proclivity of the thoughts. Watt which in one hand accepted the truth of the revelation of Muhammad and in another hand perceived the alteration of revelation in sociological perspective, also proposed hypotheses in which the alteration of revelation might be the result of Prophet’s addition, although he said that his hypotheses had not have a strong proof. Meanwhile, Bell saw that naskh tends to Prophet’s revision on compilizing the verses within the Qur’anic chapters though he also mentioned naskh in understanding of that the abrogation of the law of verse which being remained in the Qur’an. This article is based on descriptive-analitical and comparative methods.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk membahas sejarah perkembangantafsir, dari abad pertama hingga abad ketiga hijriyah. Tafsir paramasa klasik ini di mulai dari penafsiran nabi Muhammad terhadapayat-ayat, lalu penafsiran yang dilakukan oleh para sahabat danpara tabi’in. Al-Qur’an yang bercorak al-ma’tsur inilah menjadipionir munculnya tafsir-tafsir generasi berikutnya. Beberapakelebihan tafsir masa klasik ini adalah: Pertama, tafsir pada masaawal tidak bersifat sektarian yang dimaksudkan untuk membelamadzhab tertentu. Kedua, para shahabat tidak banyak perbedaanpendapat diantara mereka mengenai hasil penafsirannya. Ketiga,mayoritas penafsiran para shahabat belum kemasukan riwayatriwayat isra’iliyyat yang dapat merusak akidah Islam (terutamatafsir masa Nabi dan sahabat). Sementara kelemahannya adalah:Pertama, nabi Muhammad saw. belum menafsirkan seluruh ayat alQur’an, Kedua, Penafsiran para shahabat masih bersifat parsial dankurang mendetail dalam menafsirkan suatu ayat sehingga kadangsulit mendapatkan gambaran yang utuh mengenai pandangan alQur’an terhadap suatu masalah tertentu, Ketiga, pada masa tabiintafsir sudah mulai bersifat sektarian dan mulai terkontaminasi olehkepentingan madzhab tertentu.

Abstract

This study aims to find the position of the history of the temple experts of the Prophet. In the tradition of Sunni and Syi’ah scholarship. By using a comparative study between ar-riwâ'i interpretation used by Shiites and bi al-ma'tsûr interpretation used by Sunni. Research that uses qualitative, literature-based and analytical research methods finds that the history of the temple expert gets an extraordinary place and portion in the two circles. It was also found that the location of the similarities between Sunni-Syi’ah in the history of temple experts was equally accepted with several conditions. While the differences between the two are ar-riwâi interpretation only come from the Qur'an, the Prophet's hadithand the history of the temple expert. While the interpretation of bi al-ma'tsûr also uses the companions of the Prophet and tabi'in besides the three sources
