<![CDATA[Standard operating procedure (SOP) is the guide to start or to do some jobs, where is the place to do, what should they do and how they can do it. The patient in post operation facture close femur is one of category that should apply in keeping patient or injuring them in correct way. Keeping the wound in correct way is the basic step to injure the patient in sterile that follow procedure. The aim is to help the patient to get curing as soon as possible from the wound. Goal: : The aim from this case study is to see how they apply their knowledge to keep the patient for injuring in post operation facture close femur in Santa Elisabeth hospital Medan 2017. Methods: Case study method that may apply in here is Descriptive. The population is about 12 respondents, the instrument of this research is using post operation and the result will get by Univariate analysis. Result: From univariate analysis the result could divide into two categories these are good application is about 83,3% and enough application is about 16,7%. Conclusion: From the case study in The General implementation figure of standard operational keeping care for injuring in post operation facture close femur in Santa Elisabeth hospital Medan 2017, the result is good. And hopefully this procedure will keep in long time and give the best service to make the patient feel good as well as they get the appropriate procedure.]]>

<![CDATA[Anxiety is an unclear and widespread concern, associated with feelings of uncertainty and helplessness. This state of anxiety and emotion has no specific object but can affect behavior toward parents whose children are hospitalized. Parental anxiety levels are subjective experiences of the individual and can not be directly observed but consequently will affect the anxiety level of the parent. Hospitalization of children is a state of crisis in children, when children are sick and hospitalized, one of them in the febrile seizure disease is a seizure spasm that occurs in the rise in body temperature above 38 ° C this will result in anxiety level of parents increases. Goals: To know the description of anxiety level of parent to hospitalization of child with febrile seizure during child is treated in hospital of Elisabeth Elisabeth Medan. Method: The design used in this study is descriptive to describe the level of anxiety parents to hospitalization of children with febrile seizures during child care at Hospital Santa Elisabeth Medan Year 2017. Result: based on data collection found 10 respondents where 5 (50%) of respondents who experienced anxiety level in medium category and 5 (50%) respondents have low level anxiety level. Conclusion: Based on the research and data analysis that has been done in accordance with the objectives that have been determined can be concluded that all parents who care for their children in the hospital will experience anxiety level that is 5 respondents (50%) with moderate anxiety level, while 5 others (50% Low anxiety levels and high anxiety levels were not found.]]>

<![CDATA[Pulmonary Tuberculosis is an infectious disease that attacks the lung parenchyma, caused by mycobacterium tuberculosis. This disease can also spread to other body parts such as meninges, kidneys, bones and lymph nodes of pulmonary TB is a big problem for developing countries including Indonesia As most developing countries do. Almost all adult residents have been infected by TB bacilli in easy times, since most pulmonary TB disease in this country is caused by bacilli that undergo reactivity Goals : To know the description of the patient's knowledge of TBC Lung prevention transmission of pulmonary tuberculosis infection in the internal room At Santa Elisabeth Hospital Medan. Method: type of rancanagn case study used is descriptive number of subjects is as much as 9 0rang data collection in the form of questionnaires after that done scoring data is presented in the form of tables and distribution frequency Results: From the case study the frequency distribution of respondents based on the use of the questionnaire. From the case study conducted (seen in table 4.1) that more male sex is 9 people (100%) and female 0 (0%). From this case study, the result is good.. Conclusion: Based on the results of the case studies described above, the authors conclude the case study results that the level of education greatly influences the patient's knowledge in preventing transmission of TB disease. It is evident that the level of education of the upperand upper-secondary patients with the highest proportion of case studies ( 55,5%) know the mode of transmission of infection prevention.]]>

<![CDATA[From the information of midwife coordinator in Pancur Napitu Village, Simalungun Regency, there are many married teenagers and interviews of 15 mothers who have given birth with <20 years of age. Goals : The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that affect the age of marriage in women of childbearing age. Methods : Type of survey research with cross sectional approach. Population is all Women Age Fertile in Pancur Napitu Village Tanah Java Subdistrict Simalungun Regency as many as 371 people, 154 sample with simple random sampling technique. Data obtained through interview with questionnaire. Data were analyzed by univariate stage, bivariate using chi-square and multivariate test using multiple logistic regression analysis at significance level 95% Result : The results showed that respondents who married at age ≥ 20 years amounted to 68.8% and married at age <20 years of 31.2%. There is influence of education, socioeconomic, knowledge and virginity value to married age. The most influential variable is education with the value of coefficient B 10,196. The percentage correct score of 80.5% indicates educational, socioeconomic, knowledge, and virginity values can explain its effect on the age of marriage in women of childbearing age. While the rest of 19.5% influenced by other factors. Conclution : It is recommended to Pancur Napitu Puskesmas and Kepala Desa to cooperate with local government in counseling to increase knowledge about marriage age and to prevent problems of pregnancy complication that often occur in WUS. As well as increasing the family's economic income for high education children, good knowledge, and avoid free association through the addition of workload.]]>

<![CDATA[.Associated Ventilator Pneumonia (VAP) is a pneumonia that occurs > 48 -72 hours, and the second cause of Health Associated Infection (HAI). The study revealed10% - 20% of patients attached to the ventilator developed into pneumonia. Surveillance shows HAI pneumonia causing death by about 10%. Currently, there is no definite research on the number of VAP incidents in Indonesia. However, research at Dr. Rumkital. The prediction of the number of patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) installed is 148 people and 100 people died with pneumonia. One of the management of nursing patients is ventilator and pneumonia is to do chest physiotherapy. This case study was conducted especially in patients attached to intensive ventilator (ICU). Goals: The Objective of this case study is to determine the description of the implementation of chest physiotherapy on prevention of pneumonia patients by using ventilator in intensive room at Santa Elisabeth Hospital Medan. Method : This case study is in descriptive design by using 20 respondents ie nurses in the ICU room using evaluation sheets and using informed consent sheets as a form of approval. The results of the case study is to illustrate that the implementation of chest physiotherapy performed in the ICU room with good category of 65%, enough 25%, and less 10%. Result : The results of this case study, not much different from the results of previous research by Hendra that was VAP occurred 70% according to the procedure and 40% of custom room SOP. Conclusion : Chest physiotherapy is one of the nursing interventions to prevent the occurrence of VAP.]]>

Kasus distosia bahu memang tidak umum terjadi namun membahayakan bagi ibu dan janin. di Indonesia kematian perinatal dilaporkan terjadi pada 0,4-0,5 % kasus distosia bahu tahun 2010. Tujuan: Mampu melakukan Asuhan Kebidanan pada Ny. S GII PI A0 Umur 36 Tahun Usia Kehamilan 39 Minggu 1 Hari dengan Persalinan Distosia Bahu di Klinik Sally dengan menggunakan pendekatan Manajemen 7 Langkah Varney. Metode: Jenis laporan studi kasus dengan metode deskriptif. <![CDATA[since formerly, In Indonesia, it has been long known the terms prolapsesd uterus and prolapsed upside down. Prolapsed uterus is a very rare condition. The frequency of prolapsed uterus in Indonesia is only 1.5%. Most occur at an older age than a young age. This is caused by weakness of the muscles and fascia structures at a later age. Based on the book of Opname list in Santa Elisabeth room at Santa Elisabeth Hospital Medan period from January 2017 to May 2018 as many as 15 medical records. Based on the list of Opname shows prolapsed uterus at age> 70 years for 5 people and at age> 30-70 years for 9 people and at age <30 years for 1 person.Goals : The writer are expected to be skilled in giving midwifery care to the elderly age of 74 years with prolapsed uterus level II through Varney management approach.Methods: This report was a survey study report with Descriptive method, the location of this case study was at Santa Elisabeth room of Santa Elisabeth Hospital Medan. Subjects of case studies taken by the writer were the Elderly conducted on March 09 to March 14, 2018. <![CDATA[Stress is the response of a person's body that is non-specific to any excessive workload demands. When a person is able to overcome the excessive burden and does not experience disruption of body function, then the person is not experiencing stress. empathy is the ability to understand what others feel and think which is the ability and skill in facilitating social agreements and successfully navigating personal relationships, it is important for the survival of individuals because it requires accuracy in the perception, interpretation, and response to the emotions of others. Therefore empathy is an important building block for prosocial behavior, or the actions of people taking other benefits. Goals : This study aims to analyze the relationship of nurses work stress with nurse empathy to patients in santa elisabeth field hospital in 2017. Methods : This study used cross-sectional approach with sampling total sampling technique, as many as 29 respondents. Result : Based on statistical test (chi-square) got p value = 0,006 (p <0,06) so there is significant relation between Work Stress With Empathy Attitude Medical Nurses Hospital Surgery Santa Elisabeth Medan Conclution : It is expected that the Hospital holds counseling or seminars on empathy and can give rewards in the form of materials such as praise or awards for nurses who have a sense of empathy. <![CDATA[Ectopic pregnancies are impaired including high-risk pregnancies that can be marked by either spotting or moderate bleeding that can be life-threatening to the mother. Based on worldwide WHO research, there is a maternal mortality of 500,000 lives per year and infant mortality in particular 10 million neonates per year. More than 60% of ectopic pregnancies occur in women aged 20-30 with low socio-economic and live in areas with high prevalence ofgonorrhea and tuberculosis prevalence. In Indonesia the maternal mortality rate is 330/100,000 live births. Maternal mortality is estimated at about 16,500-17,500 per year. One-third of them are due to falling-out services.Goals : Performing a Craving Care in Pregnant Women Mrs.T Age 28 years old G3P1A1 with Disturbed Ectopic Pregnancy using a seven step Varney approachMethods:Using descriptive method with case study approach implemented by author through approach of midwifery management. The case observed by the author in this Final Report is Mrs. T Age 28 years G3P1A1 with Disturbed Ectopic Pregnancy at Saint Elizabeth Hospital Medan Year 2018.Results: Gain real experience on the implementation of Midwifery care in pregnant women with Disturbed Ectopic Pregnancy at Saint Elizabeth Hospital Medan. <![CDATA[Gymnastics is a series of movements that require strength, regular speed, which is done independently or in groups with the aim of improving health in the body, and self-confidence. The type of exercise that can be recommended for someone who has a history of type 2 diabetes mellitus is foot gymnastics. Gymnastics is an activity or physical exercise to prevent injuries and help smooth blood circulation of legs and easy to do by many people, this leg aerobic aims to improve blood circulation, strengthen the small muscles in the legs, prevent foot and foot deformities can lower glucose.Goals : The purposed of this study to determine the effect of foot gymnastics on changes in glucose.Methods : The design of this research is pre experiment with one group pre post test designapproach. Sampling technique purposive sampling, with the number of samples of 10 respondents. Measuring tool used is observation sheet and SOP. Data analysis was performed by using Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test with p = 0,008 (<0,05).Result : This shows that there is influence of foot gym on glucose change in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan Environment.Conclution : It is hoped that diabetes mellitus type 2 can perform foot exercises anywhere and anytime as an effort to help improve blood circulation, keeping blood sugar always in a normal state.]]>
