Abstract

Knowledge and attitudes are the result of out through a specific sensing of objects and social interaction so that the formation of a person's actions. Basic Life Support was given an early intervention in the treatment of patients in cardiac arrest (cardiac arrest). Goal : This study aimed to analyze the relationship between knowledge with attitude of health workers on basic life support in Puskemas Pancur Stone Deli Serdang. Methods: The method used is descriptive analytic research with cross sectional approach. Samples numbered 32 with a sampling technique is total sampling. Measuring instrument used in this study a questionnaire. Result : The results of statistical tests chi-square test, p value = 0.014 was obtained. P value <0.05, it indicates there is a relationship of knowledge with the attitude of health workers in health centers BLS Pancur Stone. Conclusion : Expected to health workers in health centers Pancur stone to further improve and understand basic life support and can take action BLS in the treatment of patients who suffered sudden cardiac arrest, so handled quickly and accurately, as well as a training / seminar on basic life support on a regular basis.

Abstract

Stress is the response of a person's body that is non-specific to any excessive workload demands. When a person is able to overcome the excessive burden and does not experience disruption of body function, then the person is not experiencing stress. empathy is the ability to understand what others feel and think which is the ability and skill in facilitating social agreements and successfully navigating personal relationships, it is important for the survival of individuals because it requires accuracy in the perception, interpretation, and response to the emotions of others. Therefore empathy is an important building block for prosocial behavior, or the actions of people taking other benefits. Goals : This study aims to analyze the relationship of nurses work stress with nurse empathy to patients in santa elisabeth field hospital in 2017. Methods : This study used cross-sectional approach with sampling total sampling technique, as many as 29 respondents. Result : Based on statistical test (chi-square) got p value = 0,006 (p <0,06) so there is significant relation between Work Stress With Empathy Attitude Medical Nurses Hospital Surgery Santa Elisabeth Medan Conclution : It is expected that the Hospital holds counseling or seminars on empathy and can give rewards in the form of materials such as praise or awards for nurses who have a sense of empathy. Abstract

Gymnastics is a series of movements that require strength, regular speed, which is done independently or in groups with the aim of improving health in the body, and self-confidence. The type of exercise that can be recommended for someone who has a history of type 2 diabetes mellitus is foot gymnastics. Gymnastics is an activity or physical exercise to prevent injuries and help smooth blood circulation of legs and easy to do by many people, this leg aerobic aims to improve blood circulation, strengthen the small muscles in the legs, prevent foot and foot deformities can lower glucose.Goals : The purposed of this study to determine the effect of foot gymnastics on changes in glucose.Methods : The design of this research is pre experiment with one group pre post test designapproach. Sampling technique purposive sampling, with the number of samples of 10 respondents. Measuring tool used is observation sheet and SOP. Data analysis was performed by using Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test with p = 0,008 (<0,05).Result : This shows that there is influence of foot gym on glucose change in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan Environment.Conclution : It is hoped that diabetes mellitus type 2 can perform foot exercises anywhere and anytime as an effort to help improve blood circulation, keeping blood sugar always in a normal state.

Abstract

Emergency Installation (IGD) is one of the main lines of help to clients. Therapeutic communication is required in dealing with clients with emergency situations. Therapeutic communication is the most important factor used to establish therapeutic relationships between nurses and clients.Goals : The purposed of this research to analyze therapeutic communication relationship of nurse with client satisfaction at IGD RS Santa Elisabeth Medan.Methods: This study used a cross-sectional approach with accidental sampling technique of 94 respondents.Result : Based on Fisher's Exact Test with p value = 0,018 <0,05 meaning there is significant relation between therapeutic communication of nurse with Client satisfaction at Emergency Installation of Santa Elisabeth Medan Hospital.Conlcution : To improve the excellent service to clients, it is expected that nurses will apply therapeutic communication and improve their skills to communicate by attending training or seminars.

Abstract

Anxiety is a feeling of anxious, worried, discomfort or fear. Anxiety often occurs in students facing exams test mainly the OSCE, the anxiety may be reduced if students can master the lessons that followed. Factors that can be affected the activity of a person is motivated to learn, where the motivation is symptom that arise within and from outside themselves that pushing to do something to achieve the expected goal and motivation is also the basis mover pushing to learn.. The purposed of this study was to identify the correlation between learning motivation and the anxiety of the sixth semester college students of Ners which follow the OSCE examination. Kind of this study was descriptive correlation that use the cross sectional approach. Population of this study is all student sixth semester of ners is 61 reponden. Sampling has done by using total sampling technique. The result of statistic test Spearman Rank shows that There was a correlation the motivation to study with anxiety students for following OSCE (p value=0,038), but the power of this relationship is still weak ( r = 0,266 ) because there are other factors that could affect the anxiety when take OSCE examination

Abstract

 ABSTRAK Kanker payudara pada wanita menempati urutan pertama jenis kanker dengan jumlah kasus terbanyak sebesar 48.988 dan menempati urutan kedua sebagai penyebab kematian terbanyak akibat kanker di Indonesia sebesar 21,4 persen. Rangkaian terapi kanker payudara membutuhkan waktu yang panjang, mulai dari pembedahan, kemoterapi, radioterapi dan kontrol ulang. Hal ini membutuhkan pendampingan keluarga yang adekuat. Keberadaan keluarga membuat pasien merasa lebih tenang dan nyaman dalam menjalani pengobatan. Tujuan setelah pelatihan singkat, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan keluarga dalam mendukung penderita kanker payudara komunitas Hope Family Cancer Care (HFCC). Adapun kegiatan yang dilakukan berupa pelatihan singkat menggunakan booklet. Terdapat peningkatan pemahaman keluarga (92%) dalam memberikan dukungan kepada penderita kanker payudara di komunitas HFCC. Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan, Dukungan Fungsi Keluarga, Kanker Payudara  ABSTRACT Breast cancer in women ranks first type of cancer with the highest number of cases at 48,988 and ranks second as the most common cause of cancer death in Indonesia at 21.4 percent. The series of breast cancer therapy takes a long time, starting from surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and re-control. This requires adequate family assistance. The presence of the family makes the patient feel more calm and comfortable in undergoing treatment. The goal after a short training is to increase the ability of families to support breast cancer sufferers in the Hope Family Cancer Care (HFCC) community. The activities carried out are in the form of short training using booklets. Abstract

Breast cancer patients must undergo a series of therapies that take a long time with painful side effects. Fellow breast cancer sufferers are people who can provide psychological support to patients. Cancer patients need to get support from others to always motivate, encourage, motivate, control and assist cancer patients. Objective: This study aims to develop a model of empowerment of WhatsApp Group to Increase Optimism of Breast Cancer Survivors in Medan. Method: The type of research used is action research with 72 sample. There are 2 types of instruments for data collection, the focus group discussion (FGD) question guide and the Revised Life Orientation Test (LOT-R) instrument with cronbach alpha 0.95. The increase in optimism can be seen from the average score of optimism before and after research. Results: This research in the formation of the Whattsapps Group HFCC Community Group for posting positive things in the group. The results of the optimism assessment showed that 83% of participants had positive optimism after the webinar activity on tips and tricks "Successful controlling emotions with Optimism". This study has a significant positive impact on optimism before and after WhatsApp Group empowerment. Conclusions: Sharing positive experiences and information is very important to improve the optimization of fellow breast cancer patients in the WA Group that has been formed. In addition, family support is needed to continue to provide support in tasks and economic functions.

Abstract

Post-treatment care and ongoing care plans for breast cancer sufferers can reduce the quality of life. Breast cancer patients who are hospitalized have negative factors, such as being away from their family and loved ones, unfamiliar hospital environment, getting diagnosis and treatment that is difficult so that the patient feels afraid of every procedure that will be given to him and makes quality his life was getting low. This study aims to identify the domains of quality of life in breast cancer sufferers. This research uses descriptive research with the sampling technique in this study using purposive sampling. The number of samples is 44 respondents in the age range 24-68 years. This research uses descriptive research using the WHO QoL BREF instrument. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained data that the physical health of breast cancer patients (79.5%) had very poor - moderate physical health categories. The psychological domain shows 66% are in good category. The domain of social relations shows 70.4% are in the medium-bad category. The Environmental Domain shows 63.6% have the environmental domain in the good-very good category. The physical health domain has the lowest score compared to other quality of life domains

Abstract

Elderly is an age that has a greater likelihood of experiencing autoimmune, this is based on the statement that the older you get or the older you are, the more likely you are to experience autoimmune. Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune and immune system disease that causes chronic inflammation of the joints. This research purposed to describe the knowledge of the elderly about Rheumatoid arthritis in the Barusjahe Health Center Work Area, Karo Regency in 2021. This research uses descriptive research with the sampling technique in this study using purposive sampling. The number of respondents are 72 people. The research instrument is a questionnaire on the level of knowledge about Rheumatoid Arthritis with 25 questions. The results of this study are most of the knowledge level of the elderly about Rheumatoid Arhritis obtained in the category of sufficient knowledge level of 47.2%, 27.8% less, and 25% good. The conclusion is that the level of knowledge of the elderly about Rheumatoid Arthritis at the Barusjahe Health Center in 2021 is mostly good enough, it is hoped that health cadres can provide further information about rheumatoid arthritis so that they can increase the knowledge of the elderly to be good and improve the health status of the elderly

Abstract

Procrastination is a habit of delaying lecture assignments until tomorrow which is done repeatedly by students. The impact that can occur due to the behavior of delaying tasks is anxiety, anxiety, fear, regret, stress, uncontrolled emotions, panic, crying and sadness. The factor that causes academic procrastination is student learning motivation. In this study, respondents did academic procrastination. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between learning motivation. This research is descriptive with a cross sectional research design of 88 respondents and uses a total sampling method. The results obtained based on the level of learning motivation most have high learning motivation (95%) and based on the level of procrastination the most have moderate academic procrastination (74%). Based on the demographics of the respondents based on age, most of them have an age background of 20-24 years as much as 57.5%, based on gender the most are women as much as 89.7%, based on religion the most Christian religion is Protestant as much as 70.1% Based on ethnicity, the most Batak Toba tribe is 62.1%.
