Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of Diamond Fraud on academic fraud with student behavior as a moderating variable. The research method used was a quantitative research method by using questionnaire as data collection technique. The population of this study was all active students at Polytechnic LP3I Medan as many as 559 students. The sampling technique used saturated samples, which obtained a sample of 418 students.  The gathered data were analyzed by using descriptive statistic, multiple regression and moderating regression analysis. The result of this study showed that Diamond Fraud simultaneously affected academic fraud. However, partially the component of diamond fraud such as pressure, opportunity and rationalization had a significant effect on academic fraud, while the capability had no effect on fraud academic. Furthermore, the result of the moderating test were known that student behavior becomes a moderating variable between the influence of diamond fraud on academic fraud.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to throw the ball in a bocce game on mind handicap children with a model exercise play. Population of this research is mind handicap children of Dharmawanita extraordinary school. The sample of the study amounted to 22 people taken using Purposive Sampling technique. The data analysis technique used in this research is Paired Sample t-test to see whether there is difference of average before and after by fulfilling requirement of parametric test descriptively and inferensially. From the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the practice of playing on the ability to throw the ball in a ball game bocce on mind handicap children. This is evidenced from the result of t-count obtained is 3.658 <1.71714 or 0.001 <α 0.05.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the pedagogical competences of inclusive school teachers, especially in Indonesia. The research method used was a systematic review. The electronic data bases used were Wiley, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. The initial search found 24 journals and were then selected based on exclusive criteria, in which there were seven journals identified using thematic data analysis techniques. The result of this study showed that the pedagogical competence of teachers in inclusive schools, especially in Indonesia, is relatively low. Several factors which inhibit teacher pedagogic competence, which are different teachers’ educational backgrounds, teachers do not understand students’ characteristics which cause difficulty to identify different student needs, and teachers have difficulty to evaluate student learning processes.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve the learning activities of citizenship education on protection and lawenforcement material using STAD of cooperative learning method at the twelvth grade students of SocialScience 2 at SMAN 3 Mataram. This research used a classroom action research method with two cycles.Instruments of data collection used were observation sheets and test. The technique of analyzing the data used qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study showed that the application of STAD of cooperative learning method proved to be effective in increasing students' understanding and learning activities in the subject of citizenship education. Abstrak: Penelitian ini betujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganeraan materi perlindungan dan penegakan hokum dengan metode kooperatif tipe STAD pada siswa kelas XII IPS 2 di SMAN 3 Mataram. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus. Instrument pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data penelitianmenggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penerapanpembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD terbukti efektif dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan aktivitas pembelajaan siswa pada mata pelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyse students’ critical thinking skills on reaction rate material. The learning process was done online using the guided inquiry model. This research applied quantitative descriptive method designed with one group pretest-posttest pattern. Subjects involved in this research was 32 students of class XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Taman. Research data was collected from observation and test results through observation sheets of learning model workability and critical thinking question sheets. The data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative analysis with statistical test. The result shows that student’s critical thinking skills increased which seen from n-gain score as follows: interpretation indicator as of 0.74; inference as of 0.76; and explanatory as of 0.86 with high category and analysis indicator as of 0.63 which was middle category. The result of paired sample t-test examination showed the number of sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 that stated whenever found big and significant difference between posttest and pretest scores which indicated the application of guided inquiry model during learning took effect on increasing students’ critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Religious education has been one of most controversial problems debated in the drafting of laws relation to education and religion in the history of Indonesia. Since the establishment of the nation, the position of religious education in school has been questioned. This debate arose in particular because many private schools organized by religious communities, institutions and foundations, especially the Christians/Catholics, only gave Christian/Catholic religious education to all the students, including to the Muslims. This research explores the social and political context of this issue and specifically looks at its practices in the contemporary era on one of the Catholic campuses in Flores. This study used a qualitative approach by combining text and context analysis. Specifically for field data obtained by in-depth interviews and FGDs on a number of Catholic school organizers, school principals, teachers and non-Catholic students who take part in Catholic religious studies. This study found that when the issue of religious instruction in schools was discussed, the debate should not only be directed at what religious lessons were given to students but rather on what religious lessons students should receive from any religion that could help students to be able to overcome the problems of society, nation and state specifically in the context of pluralism.

Abstract

Ada dua macam sumber materi ajar umumnya dipakai oleh guru bahasa Inggris mengajar di sekolah.Pertama, apa yang disebut materi „handed‟ dan materi „open-market‟. Akan tetapi sangat disarankan kepadapara guru bahasa Inggris mendisain materi sendiri. Ada beberapa alasan logis yang muncul seperti materi bisadisesuaikan dengan kebutuhan para siswa, bisa menyusuaikannya dengan kurikulum yang berlaku, dan bisamenghindari ketidak cocokan materi dengan situasi kelas atau menghindari penggunaan satu buku untuk semuakelas. Walaupun materi „handed‟ memiliki keunggulan tetapi manfaat dari mendisain materi sendiri lebihbanyak manfaatnya dari materi siap pakai atau materi „handed‟ seperti materi cocok dengan kebutuhan parasiswa, materi dapat dibuat sesuai dengan situasi stempat dan dapat pula disesuaikan dengan kemapuan siswadan latar belakang budaya mereka. Selanjutnya, mendisain materi sendiri bisa memberi manfaat untukmengevaluasi sumber atau buku di mana materi diambil. Buku-buku itu dapat dievaluasi dari external maupuninternal untuk meneliti kualitasnya dan pada ahirnya mendapatkan buku yang sesuai dengan para siswa.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to describe the level of student problem solving skills and types of errors made by students. The research method used descriptive qualitative. The subject consisted of 9 students who were categorized based on student academic ability selected from 18 students of class VII MTs Nurul Bilad in academic year 2019/2020. Research instrument used 3 items of set materials. The data analysis techniques were in the form of qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The result of the research showed that the student problem solving skills of class VII MTs Nurul Bilad was still relatively low. Research results obtained as a whole based on student problem solving skill indicators which were indicators of understanding problems (77,8%), making a solution plan (0%), implementing strategies to solve problems (51,8%) and explaining or interpreting the results of problem solving (14,8%). Meanwhile, the concept errors were mostly found from students with low academic ability. These errors resulted in students’ misinterpreting the problems, so that the principles used would be also wrong. There were some among students comitting errors in operation (procedure).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of academic supervision in an effort to improve pedagogical competence of classroom teachers in learning in the classroom, the benefits for the principal is to determine the improvement of teacher competence in the learning process. This research was conducted for two cycles, each cycle activity there are four stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The indicators of success in this study are; 1) School principal observation results and teacher observation during the mentoring process have obtained average score> 4.0, 2) end result> 85% of the number of mentoring participants get average score> 70.00 (good category). The result of the research in cycle I principal principal observation (3.40), average teacher observation (3.17) and academic grade teacher supervision score average (68,56). In cycle II the average principal observation (4.60) with percentage of achievement (100%), average teacher observation (4.50) with percentage of achievement (100%) and academic supervision score average (83, 67) with the percentage of achievement (100%). The success indicator has been reached, the research stated successful and stopped in cycle II. Conclusion; The results of the research on the 2nd cycle showed the improvement of Master's competence in the learning process in the real class. It is recommended that other Principals conduct similar research in an effort to increase the competence of teachers, and to similar class teachers to conduct learning process in accordance with well-planned scenarios, responsibility, bersunggung-sust for the improvement of learning achievement of learners in accordance with the field of study / eyes the lessons he was responsible for.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of the Herringbone technique on students' reading comprehension. A quasi-experimental was used in this research and the sample was 20 students of Guidance and conselling department . Test was used in this research to collect the data and  the data was analyzed by paired sample T-test by using SPSS. The result of this research, there was a significant effect of the herringbone to the students 'reading comprehension. It can be seen from the value of the t-test that the score was  higher  than t- table (11.212 > 2.086).  Therefore, it can be stated that the there is a significant effect of Heringbone technique on students’ reading comprehension.
