Abstract

This study examines the strategic role of Baitul Mal wat Tamwil (BMT) Al-Istiqamah in efforts to improve the micro-economy in Enrekang Regency and the supporting and inhibiting factors encountered in this effort. This type of research is qualitative, with managerial and Islamic economic approaches. Primary data sources are informants consisting of founders, administrators, members, and customers of BMT Al-Istiqamah, as well as the government of Enrekang Regency. Documents related to research as secondary data. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use the stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that BMT Al-Istiqamah contributed to improving microeconomics in Enrekang. The roles played by BMT Al-Istiqamah are the empowerment of human resources and entrepreneurial spirit; improving microeconomic welfare; and preventing the public from practicing usury. Various factors supporting the success of BMT Al-Istiqamah are: strategic locations; the commitment of the founders, administrators, and members; high member savings participation; the high demand for microbusiness actors for BMT Al-Istiqamah; ease of obtaining capital assistance; and government support. The obstacles are the lack of human resources at BMT Al-Istiqamah, the lack of financial capital, the lack of technology utilization, and the number of customers who neglect to make deposit payments.

Abstract

Islam is a religion that upholds the values of justice. However, Muslims today have undergone a total change and ignored these values. The theology of liberation formulated by Asghar Ali Engineer is a necessity to awaken Muslims from boredom and realize the values of justice inherited by the Prophet Muhammad SAW. In addition, liberation theology has become a critique for traditional scholars who only prioritize metaphysical issues and ignore humanitarian issues. Thus, this research was appointed to describe in depth the theology of liberation constructed by Asghar Ali Engineer. The method used in this research is a qualitative method based on a literature study. The results of this study are the construction of Asghar Ali's theology of liberation, which covers three points: monotheism, which is interpreted as human unity; a movement that must be based on a strong faith to fight for justice and fight against unjust rulers; and justice in the economic field to free the small people who are exploited by the capitalist system.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) find out the theory of the arrival of Islam in the archipelago, (2) to find out the development of Islam in the archipelago, and (3) early centers of Islamic education in Southeast Asia. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection through literature review methods. The results of the study show that for the first time the arrival of Islam in the archipelago was based on several theories, including the Gujarati theory, Mecca theory, Persian theory, Chinese theory, and Egyptian theory. The development of Islam in the archipelago was influenced by trading activities, marriage processes, da'wah activities, and through education. Islamic education centers in the archipelago are carried out in Muslim places of worship (mosques). As for the Islamic kingdoms in the archipelago, namely the kingdom of Perlak, the kingdom of Samudra Pasai, and the Kingdom of Aceh Darussalam.

Abstract

Rif’at Tahtawi memperhatikan kemajuan pemikiran masayarakat dan kemajuan pendidikan serta ilmu pengetahuan sebagaimana dalam kritikannya tentang pendidikan. Dia menjelaskan perbedaan antara kemajuan materi dan kemajuan inmateri. Bukankah agama mempunyai fungsi mendidik, begitu pula kultur mempunyai sisi materi dan inmateri. Kemajuan tidak akan terjadi kecuali bersinerginya kedua sisi tersebut. Olehnya itu, pentingnya perubahan mengarah pada kebersamaan dan produksi, seni dan keutamaannya, bergabungnya wanita dengan masyarakat, pendidikan dan keutamaannya, hak-hak manusia dalam mengasah akidahnya. Bagaimana dapat membentuk suatu hukum terhadap masyarakat muslim jika tidak mendapatkan kebebasan berakidah dan kebebasan dalam bermasyarakat. Rif’at Tahtawi sangat memperhatikan pendidikan dan ilmu pengetahuan, kritkannya dalam masalah politik, ekonomi dan social budaya, pendidikan dan ilmu pengetahuan.

Abstract

Fitrah adalah sifat atau karakter manusia yang dibawa sejak ia dilahirkan ke muka bumi ini, yang mana fitrah ini berupa potensi atau kemampuan yang akan berkembang dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yang akan dialaminya. Hakekat konsep fitrah bila dikaitkan dengan pendidikan sebenarnya sangat bersifat religious yang lebih menekankan pada pendekatan keimanan, sebab setiap manusia yang dilahirkan dia membawa potensi yang disebut dengan potensi keimanan terhadap Allah SWT atau dalam Bahasa agamanya adalah tauhid. Pengertian fitrah adalah gambaran bahwa sebenarnya manusia diciptakan oleh dengan diberi naluri beragama.

Abstract

Multimodality has become a means of consuming messages in the era of social media. Content creators utilize text, audio and visuals to send messages. The message conveyed can now transcend the limitations of space and time. Ustaz Das'ad Latif often shares unique content on his Instagram account. One of them is an animation upload on his Instagram @dasadlatif1212. Social semiotic analysis helps to find effective semiotic sources and analyze how they are used in managing semiotic resources. The semiotic sources analyzed are the representational, interactive and compositional meanings that appear in semiotic sources. Semiotic resources that are managed well can be used in the current era of social media. In the future, it is hoped that young preachers will be able to take advantage of the increasingly fast-growing preaching media. Because preaching does not always have to be on the pulpit but can now be done via mobile devices. So whenever and wherever Mad'u needs them they can consume it.

Abstract

The rise of the Multi Level Marketing (MLM) business has made Islamic economists and business experts differ in their opinion in determining the laws of the business system. Based on this, this article will discuss the Islamic economic view of the MLM business system at PT K-Link Indonesia Makassar Branch. The method of this research is qualitative. The data of interview, documentation and field observations regarding the MLM business system at PT K-Link Indonesia Makassar Branch were then confronted with sharia economic theory so that syar'i laws could be established regarding the business. It was found that the work system of the Multi Level Marketing (MLM) business of PT K-Link Indonesia Makassar Branch in the view of sharia is in the muamalah category, which in principle is permissible based on the rules of fiqh. However, when there are elements that are prohibited in Islamic literature and found in MLM, this should not be done.

Abstract

The case of the bombing in Surabaya carried out by one family and the action carried out by a woman with the initials ZA was shot dead by the Indonesian National Police at the Jakarta Police Headquarters after carrying out the action with a 'soft-gun' pistol against several security officers there, show that women are actively involved. in acts of terrorism. In this case, several approaches are needed to determine the factors of women's involvement as well as peacebuilding actions to overcome them. The approach in question is an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approach. Based on this, the purpose of this study is to determine the factors of involvement and the process of developing women's peace in acts of terrorism. The method used to collect data related to the involvement of women in acts of terrorism is literature review. That the involvement of women in acts of terror is not only in the name of religion, but from various aspects of life that can be traced using an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approach.

Abstract

This study explores the supporting and inhibiting factors of learning aqidah akhlak in building the character of students at MTs Negeri 2 Makassar. The focus of this study is to understand the process of learning aqidah akhlak, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors for the success of character building of students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the analysis show that the process of learning aqidah akhlak is in accordance with the applicable curriculum, students are able to practice greetings and recite the asma' al-husna. The religious character of students is influenced by factors such as family, school environment, and society. The implications of this study include the importance of religious and moral education in shaping the character of the younger generation, as well as the need for collaboration between various parties to support the learning and character building of students. These findings can be a reference for the development of character education programs at MTs Negeri 2 Makassar and also a reference for further research in the same context.
