Abstract

Muslims have two absolute sources of law, namely the Qur'an and the Hadith. In deciding the law of a case, it is necessary to utilize the collectivity of evidence from various forms, both those related to the text directly (manqulah) or indirectly (ghairu manqulah). The use of the collectivity of evidence to decide a case in the discussion of ushul fiqh is called istiqra. This istiqra method was developed by the Maliki scholar, namely Imam Al-Syatibi, who is more popularly known as istiqra al-ma'nawi. Istiqra means inductive and al-ma'nawi means integralistic. What is described about this method is at least an interesting offer when understanding legal texts. Because this is different from the methodological formulation that has been offered by previous schools of thought which are deductive of concrete regulations from texts. In the “istiqra” approach, all the evidence on the same theme in the Qur'an and al-Sunnah, even from the interpretations of the companions, tabi'in, hadith commentary, tafsir books, are taken as collective references, then arranged to draw substantive legal conclusions.

Abstract

Islamic religious education in schools, particularly in the context of theological instruction, is often delivered with a primary focus on fostering faith and emphasizing the attainment of spiritual rewards such as paradise. However, this approach frequently overlooks the importance of cultivating an awareness of and engagement with other religious traditions. This paper examines the factors contributing to the exclusivist and intolerant tendencies often found in religious education. In an era characterized by globalization and increasing openness, religious education must undergo a paradigmatic and philosophical reorientation. Such an approach should nurture a more inclusive and pluralistic understanding of religion among students, emphasizing multicultural humanism, dialogical persuasion, and active social engagement.

Abstract

The hadith about “Prophet Solomon slept with his wives (tens/hundreds) in one night” has been presented as one example of the contradiction between hadith and logic. The hadith is described as erotic and concluded as an example of forgery by hadith scholars. This study aims to clarify this accusation, examine some responses and compare ideas from important findings from Jewish and Christian sources. The research data were obtained from nine major hadith books (kutub al-tis'ah), hadith commentaries, Biblical sources, and related articles. The data were analyzed descriptively and analytically using a qualitative approach. This study found that this hadith meets the requirements of a valid hadith because it is found in hadith books and is strengthened by other valid hadiths with meaning. Thus, the accusation of forgery is completely baseless. The number of wives should be understood in general as an indication of the number of wives, not including a specific number. This hadith meaningfully indicates that it speaks of the miracles of Prophet Solomon.

Abstract

The increasingly sophisticated development of technology influences the rapidly developing and dynamic model of da'wah. Digital media is one of the technology trends used among Generation Z today, such as the TikTok application. The purpose of this study is to analyze the urgency of TikTok media as a da'wah medium for Generation Z. This study uses the literature study method. Data sources are obtained from books or research that are relevant to what will be studied. The data obtained are analyzed descriptively, the presentation of the data is described in understandable sentences and then grouped based on the discussion category to obtain conclusions. The results of the study show that TikTok can be an alternative platform for da'wah (preachers). Da'wah through TikTok has implications for the da’i (delivery of da'wah) that is not monotonous or more varied.

Abstract

Schools as centers of education must be able to implement anti-corruption education, especially in cultivating anti-corruption behavior in every individual in the academic environment. Educators must be able to arouse students' curiosity about the urgency of this material so that they are able to stay away from corrupt behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the philosophy of anti-corruption education as an effort to internalize Islamic religious values and national culture in educational institutions. The method used in this study was a literature study. The results of this study indicate that, ontologically, corruption means misappropriation of institutional funds for personal gain. Corruption in an epistemological review examines the personal factors of humans and the factors that cause someone to commit corruption. Based on the axiological review of anti-corruption, Islamic education has values that are in line with the spirit of anti-corruption as a cultural value of the nation, such as honesty, patience, and contentment. This study has implications for the importance of educators in instilling in students how big the negative impact of corruption is for themselves, their families, and the people around us.

Abstract

A safe and comfortable environment is certainly needed for students to achieve maximum learning outcomes during the education process. However, in reality, in schools, we can still find acts of violence between friends or what is often called bullying. The purpose of this study was to determine the form of bullying that occurs in schools, a description of student learning achievement, and the effect of bullying on student learning achievement. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive research type. The population was 150 students of Badean 01 Elementary School, with a sample of 30 students. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. Data analysis used descriptive statistics, data validity tests used classical assumption tests, and hypothesis tests used simple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that bullying behavior has no effect on student learning achievement. This is because the bullying that occurs in this school is included in the mild category. In addition, motivation, self-confidence, social support, and student intelligence, as well as teacher efforts are included in the fairly good category in handling bullying.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving rewards on students' learning motivation. This study is an experimental study with a quantitative approach. The type of research is a true experiment with a research design in the form of Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research stage is through pre-nontest, treatment, and post-nontest. The population in this study were all fourth-grade students of Muhammadiyah 12 Pamulang Elementary School, South Tangerang, Banten, totaling 36 students. The sample was class IV A as an experimental class with 18 students and class IV B as a control class with 18 students. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, research data were obtained through questionnaires and observation sheets. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of the data analysis showed that there was an effect of giving rewards on students' learning motivation, as well as a significant difference in the probability value between the experimental class and the control class. The form of reward given was verbal and nonverbal.

Abstract

Pluralism emphasizes diversity and acceptance of differences, which can cause several potential problems. One of them is the potential for social conflict due to differences in understanding and interpretation of religious, cultural, or ideological values. In addition, pluralism can also trigger competition between groups who want to be the center of attention or claim their truth. This study discusses pluralism in the Qur'an, focusing on the meaning of pluralism, types of pluralism, and its implications for everyday human life. This literature review found that the Quran expresses pluralism in various forms, namely the pluralism of God's creatures, ethnicity, language, religion, party, resources, and profession. With various forms stated by the Quran, pluralism has implications for society, namely that pluralism is sunnatullah, freedom of religion, positive interaction, and competing to do good.

Abstract

Qur'an is kalamullah or heavenly language that is down to earth so it requires a paradigm of thinking, both ways, methods and approaches. Qur'an which incidentally is the text makes some readers refer to the text or the literal meaning of the text without including the socio-historical context of the text in its interpretation activities, so that the determination of its meaning fully becomes the domain of the authority of the text. Outside the text there is no meaning that can be justified and believed to be true. Some other readers consider the need for a contextual approach to developing texts products, especially those relating to muamalah (social relations) and law. The most perfect understanding of verses is to pay attention to the social settings surrounding the descending verses. In other words, referring to the context dimension which is not solely based on the literal meaning of the text (literature), but also involves the socio-historical dimension of the text and the involvement of the interpreter's subjective subjectivity in its interpretation activities. Based on the discourse, this study would like to explain the urgency of the study of the Qur'an by combining textual with contextual methods, so that a comprehensive understanding of the texts of the Qur'an verses is found. This method considers the meaning in amr (command) and nahi (prohibition) of the nash (text), looking for illat (reason) if possible and considering the asliyat (the original meaning) and the tabi'iyat (the meaning that accompanies it).

Abstract

The study of this article is the aspects of God in theological and plurality of beings by raising three sub-problems, namely: 1) theological views about God (nature, justice, power, and the absolute will of God; 2) the concept of plurality in terms of various aspects; and 3) analysis of the plurality of beings and the unity of Khalik in Islamic perspective. This type of research is a text study using content analysis techniques. The results showed that Mu'tazilah views that God as not having nature and human actions is the will of man himself as a manifestation of God's justice, because humans have freedom. While Ash'ariyah views that God has nature and human actions are manifestations of God's will. The plurality of beings is a necessity as well as sunnatullah. The rejection of the plurality of beings is the rejection of something that is supposed to happen and the disbelief of God's destiny. Plurality is not only an awareness of a diverse society, consisting of various tribes and religions, which only illustrates the impression of fragmentation. But the recognition of plurality must be accompanied by a deep awareness to jointly build a relationship based on appreciation for diversity. Muslims, as the majority of the nation quantitatively, must set an example in realizing unity, unity and peace in the midst of the plurality and diversity of this nation by referring to the Prophet himself.
