Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendapat masyarakat mengenai makna tradisi Tedhak Siten masyarakat Kendal dilihat dari sudut pandang analisis fenomenologis Alfred Schuzts. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif melalui pendekatan fenomenologis. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Kendal Jawa tengah. Tahapan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini antara lain adalah observasi/pengamatan, pengumpulan data, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Untuk mendapat hasil yang memadai, pada tahap validasi peneliti melakukan penyajian data, reduksi data dan triangulasi data. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan adalah mengetahui beberapa pendapat masyarakat mengenai tradisi tedhak siten, Melalui analisis fenomenologis Alfred Schutz sebagai cara pandang masyarakat tentang Tedhak siten yang menjadi gejala dan realitas sosial dan merupakan obyek kajian formal.Bahwa tradisi tedhak siten merupakan warisan budaya nenek moyang, dimana bayi yang berumur 8 bulan diperkenalkan menginjak ke tanah. Maka dari itu diperkenalkan oleh orang tuanya beberapa kebaikan di dunia dengan menggunakan simbol. Pada tradisi tedhak siten ada beberapa uborampe yang harus dipersiapkan.Yang pada intinya ubo rampe tersebut sebagai simbol bahwa anak menginjakkan kaki pertama dengan penuh harap dapat menjalani kehidupan yang akan datang dengan baik, sukses tanpa ada rintangan. Dalam upacara tedhak siten tersebut di hadiri oleh beberapa anggota keluarga dan tetangga sekitar terutama yang mempunyai anak–anak kecil, setelah upacara selesai maka disediakan hidangan untuk para tamu. Hidangan yang diberikan tersebut mengandung makna sodaqoh.

Abstract

Perkembangan bank syariah saat ini cukup signifkan, hal ini bisa diketahui dengan didirikannya bank-bank syariah yang baru di Indonesia, hingga tahun 2019 ini terdapat 14 Bank Umum Syariah (BUS) di Indonesia. Dengan banyaknya bank baru yang didirikan, maka mengakibatkan persaingan antar bank semakin ketat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah hubungan antara structure, conduct dan performance BUS di Indonesia pada tahun 2018. Metode analisis data struktur pasar untuk market share, konsentrasi pasar dan performance (BOPO) akan dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan berdasarkan data-data keuangan BUS tahun 2018. Metode analisis data conduct menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu dengan menggambarkan strategi marketing yang dilakukan oleh BUS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa cr4 pada BUS sebesar 76% termasuk dalam kategori pasar oligopoli ketat dari sisi aset. Aset BUS yang besar tidak membuat BOPO BUS rendah, begitupun sebaliknya aset BUS yang rendah tidak membuat BOPO BUS tinggi. Dalam strategi marketing BUS menggunakan berbagai kombinasi marketing, setiap BUS mempunyai segmen yang dituju, sehingga bisa menerapkan strategi yang efektif dan efisien pada segmen tersebut. Selain segmentasi, setiap BUS juga melakukan kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak, baik kerjasama dalam bidang marketing agar lebih efisien, maupun kerjasama dengan instansi dan lembaga sebagai nasabah.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the communication management of foreign experts working in Indonesia in interactions with Indonesian local workers. Included in the study material in this study are local workers who work in foreign companies, where most of the workers are foreigners, so these local workers, even though they work in their own country, they will still experience a culture shock at the foreign company. With Michael Kaye's communication management theory approach, the research problem can be formulated, how the attitude of foreign experts in seeing Indonesia's local communication culture system influences the formation of self-concepts and communication competencies in interactions with local Indonesian workers. This study uses a qualitative method, with a phenomenological approach that seeks to uncover the meaning of communication management by foreign experts. By interviewing foreign expert informants from various countries. This study found that foreign experts carried out empathy, acculturation, ethnocentrism and Dynamics Stress-Adaptation-Growth. towards local culture, thus affecting interpersonal sensitivity. and social competence in interactions with local workers. Ekspertariat who work in Indonesia, especially Jakarta deal with differences in the work and circumstances around them make adjustments to empathize, acculturation, and reduce ethnocentrism of their culture. Adjustment steps can be described using the Kim model, namely Dynamics Stress-Adaptation-Growth. This process will proceed when challenged to face a new cultural environment.

Abstract

Advertising is one form of mass communication that seeks to construct events in society and the cultural value in them into a form based on certain themes, images and symbolic meanings. AQUA LIFE #BijakBerplastik, trying to move consumers to participate in the campaign that they launched since June 5, 2018 in connection with the reduction of plastic waste by using recycled plastic on Aqua packaging 100% recycled. By using Roland Barthes's semiotic analysis method, the writer found several meaning constructions of AQUA LIFE #BijakBerplastik with 60 seconds duration. This ad not only invites consumers to contribute to continuing the good for the earth by reducing plastic waste but also reinforces the construction of its branding strategy which is reflected in two main myths: (1) Aqua's consistency in providing services and building customer loyalty; (2) Aqua's brand personality that is pure, committed and cares for the environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the project cost budget prepared in accordance with applicable rules or not considering the allocated project cost budget is still an issue in a project development and the budget greatly influences the success of a project. The method of analysis used in this study was a Descriptive qualitative method where the data collected is based on the results of interviews with informants related to research and compares them with theories and rules relevant to the research issue. The results showed that the budget compiled did not meet the relevant requirements and theories because the budget was prepared not through discussion and socialization with the budgeting team or representatives of project members but only certain parties were involved in preparing the budget so it was clear that there were irregularities in the report realization of the budget that is not running properly.

Abstract

This study discusses the impact of corporate culture on job performance in Ambon State Polytechnic. The purpose of this study is to analyze whether company culture significantly influences work motivation. In addition, to find out more deeply how the application of organizational culture applied in Ambon State Polytechnic can foster organizational commitment and organizational performance. This research is a research that uses a mixed method. The first is quantitative, which is done with 85 samples. To it, regression analysis is treated using an instrument called the SP SS program, which shows that corporate culture has a significant effect on employee performance. Qualitatively, organizational culture reflects how the style and way of an organization carrying out its operational activities. The results showed that the organizational culture implemented by the Ambon State Polytechnic was able to grow organizational commitment so that it directly improved employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of good corporate governance through the implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in an effort to improve the performance and reputation of the company. The analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive analysis with data collection methods of observation, interviews and evaluation of documents related to research. The results of the study showed that good corporate governance (GCG) carried out through the CSR activities of the Ambon branch of BTN bank went well and had a good impact as well on society and company performance. Good governance will greatly affect the implementation of CSR and directly on the reputation of the company so it is highly recommended for each company to implement and implement a governance system that can make a positive contribution both internal and external.

Abstract

Provision of going concern audit opinion is the auditor's responsibility in addition to examining the auditee's financial statements. Failure to give an audit opinion will greatly affect the company's sustainability. This research tries to dig deeper into the phenomenon of giving a going-concern audit opinion that serves as a benchmark for investment and an overview of the company's financial condition based on an analysis of financial statements. This research is a qualitative study that analyzes and explains research issues based on secondary data, namely the company's annual financial statements and independent audit reports and the results of searches with related parties. The results showed that going concern audit opinion greatly affects the company's investment in the future because the opinion is a benchmark for auditors in assessing the company's financial condition which has a direct impact on the company's survival.

Abstract

Poverty is still a big issue that occurs in almost all over the world, including third world countries like Indonesia. This study aims to find a theoretical framework for the possibility of solving the problem of poverty through MSMEs. This research is a literature study or literature study with actual data taken from credible sources. Data is 'dialogued' with references to relevant theories such as the circle of poverty theory. The results show that theoretically MSMEs are very likely as an exit strategy for poverty in Indonesia. MSMEs have very strong probabilities as representative ways out for poverty alleviation in this country.

Abstract

Share and rating is like a 'fate' that must be fought by the mainstream media to stay alive, even including NET which previously intended to be one alternative to watching a screen. If in the past NET still avoided crime content or things that smelled of crime and violence, then at this time crime content has become one of the material that is highly explored by NET, one of them is through the 'JATANRAS' (Crime and Violence) program. This study intends to discuss the forms of commodification that occur in the JATANRAS program. The research methodology used is qualitative, with a political economy approach that is in the realm of critical tradition. Data was collected through interviews with 'JATANRAS' Producers. The results showed that there was a commodification process in the JATANRAS program, namely the commodification of content, the commodification of audiences, and the commodification of media workers. This research also shows that this program has characteristics as teletabloids where dramatization of police actions and criminal acts is made as the main commodity
