Abstract

Perlakuan A: Frekuensi pemberian probiotik sebanyak 2 hari sekali, Perlakuan B: Frekuensi pemberian probiotik sebanyak 3 hari sekali, Perlakuan C: Frekuensi pemberian probiotik sebanyak 4 hari sekali, Perlakuan D: Frekuensi pemberian probiotik sebanyak 5 hari sekali. Kata Kunci: Udang Vannamei, Lactobacillus sp, AHPND, Bakteri VibrioABSTRACTVannamei shrimp cultivation (Litopenaeus vannamei) in Indonesia is currently developing rapidly and has become the main mainstay of exports of fishery cultivation products. However, in the process of cultivation activities, obstacles are still found, namely the quality of aquaculture waters that are increasingly uncontrolled, resulting in the emergence of several diseases such as acute hepatopancreatic necrosis disease (AHPND) caused by pathogenic bacteria. The purpose of this study is to determine the optimal frequency of probiotic administration for the treatment of acute hepatopancreatic necrosis disease (AHPND) in vannamei shrimp. This study uses an experimental method using a Complete Random Design (RAL) consisting of 4 treatments and 6 replicates. The treatment in this study was in the form of giving probiotics with different frequencies. Treatment A: Frequency of probiotic administration every 2 days, Treatment B: Frequency of probiotic administration every 3 days, Treatment C: Frequency of probiotic administration every 4 days, Treatment D: Frequency of probiotic administration every 5 days. The results showed that the administration of probiotics with different frequencies had a real effect on vibrio growth in the treatment of Acute Hepatopancreatic Necrosis Disease (AHPND) in vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) in DOC 5 – DOC 30. Abstract

Kata Kunci: Panulirus penicillatus, budidaya lobster, efisiensi pakan, kualitas air, konservasi berkelanjutanABSTRACTThe spiny lobster (Panulirus penicillatus) is a high-value fisheries commodity with significant potential for intensive and sustainable aquaculture. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a filtered concrete pond system and conservation programs in supporting the growth and preservation of spiny lobsters. The research was conducted at Fish Farmers Group “Pesona Bahari” Grand Watu Dodol, Banyuwangi, over 40 days, focusing on survival rate (SR), weight and length growth, feed efficiency, and water quality parameters. The results showed a survival rate of 90% and a specific growth rate (SGR) of 1.13% per day. Feeding spiny lobsters with green mussels and trash fish alternately resulted in high feed efficiency, as indicated by a low Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR). Water quality parameters, including temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and salinity, were within optimal ranges for lobster aquaculture. The conservation program, involving selective lobster releases and community education, positively impacted marine resource sustainability. However, post-release monitoring and further studies on lobster adaptation in the wild are needed to improve conservation effectiveness. This study demonstrates that applying innovative and sustainable aquaculture technologies can enhance spiny lobster productivity while supporting marine ecosystem preservation. This aquaculture model can be replicated to optimize fisheries potential in other coastal areas. Keywords: Panulirus penicillatus, lobster aquaculture, feed efficiency, water quality, sustainable conservation

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe hematological profile of catfish (Clarias sp.) is a critical indicator of health and well-being in aquaculture practices. This study aimed to analyze the hematological parameters of catfish under aquaculture conditions using two different hematology analyzers: Hemolyzer 3 Pro and Veterinary Hematology Analyzer Mindray Series BC2800Vet. Blood samples were collected from the caudal vein, anticoagulated with EDTA, and analyzed for red blood cell count (RBC), white blood cell count (WBC), hemoglobin (Hb), hematocrit (Hct), mean corpuscular volume (MCV), mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC), and platelet count (PLT). Results indicated significant variations between the analyzers. The Hemolyzer 3 Pro indicated elevated levels, with Hb ranging from 15.7 to 16.7 g/dl, RBC from 2.66 to 2.79 × 10^6/mm³, and WBC from 92,200 to 98,040 × 10^6/mm³, suggesting possible polycythemia and an active immune response. In contrast, the Mindray Analyzer reported values within the normal range, with Hb at 7.2 g/dl, RBC at 1.43 × 10^6/mm³, and WBC at 46,100 × 10^6/mm³, implying stable health conditions. The study also observed monocytosis, indicative of potential chronic inflammation or infection. These discrepancies highlight the importance of standardized methodologies in hematological assessments. Regular monitoring of hematological parameters is essential for early disease detection and effective management in aquaculture. Further research is recommended to explore the underlying causes of these variations and to optimize health management strategies for catfish in aquaculture systems. Keywords: Aquaculture, Catfish, Haemolyzer, Hematology

Abstract

Kata Kunci : Desa Wisata Bahari Tangkolak, Pariwisata Berkelanjutan, Analisis KesenjanganABSTRACTIndonesia is an archipelagic country with abundant marine resources, including mangrove ecosystems, coral reefs, and a diversity of marine species, making it a strategic base for sustainable tourism development. Tangkolak Marine Tourism Village in Karawang Regency is one destination aimed at becoming a model for marine tourism development based on environmental conservation and local community empowerment. This study aims to analyze the level of implementation of sustainable tourism standards in Tangkolak Marine Tourism Village, referring to Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Regulation Number 9 of 2021 concerning Guidelines for Sustainable Tourism Destinations and Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability (CHSE) standards. The research method used was descriptive qualitative through observation, interviews, documentation, and gap analysis between actual conditions and regulations. The results showed that of the 12 required key documents, only two were available: the organizational structure and suggestion box mechanism. While other important documents, such as emergency SOPs, tourist carrying capacity analysis, and CHSE guidelines, were not yet available. This condition indicates a significant gap in destination governance. This study concludes that the management of the Tangkolak Marine Tourism Village is still in its early stages, requiring regulatory strengthening, human resource capacity building, and the gradual development  of supporting  documents. The study's  recommendations  emphasize  the importance of prioritizing CHSE certification, along with local community empowerment strategies, to enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of the Tangkolak Marine Tourism Village. Keywords: Tangkolak Marine Tourism Village, Sustainable Tourism, Gap Analysis
