Abstract

This study aims to improve the creativity of fourth grade students in social science learning through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model at SDN 18 Pontianak. The type of research was Classroom Action Research, with the research subjects of fourth grade students of SDN 18 West Pontianak totaling 31 students. The methods used to collect data were test and observation. The data analysis technique used was descriptive quantitative. The success criteria used in this study were an increase in creativity which is characterized by an increase in fluency of thinking, flexibility of thinking, sensitivity, originality of thinking, ability to detail, inquisitive attitude, courage to take risks, not easily discouraged, interested in compound tasks, appreciative attitude and 75% of the number of students have achieved a creativity score of ≥76% then the action is declared successful. The results showed that the implementation of the PBL model in social science subjects can increase student creativity in social science learning. Increased creativity in fourth grade students of SDN 18 Pontianak through the process of orienting students to the problem, organizing students to learn, guiding individual and group experiences, helping students develop and present work, analyzing and evaluating the problem solving process. This was indicated by an increase in student creativity in social science learning after being subjected to action in cycle I obtained student scores when the pre-test showed 24 students (77.42%) in the low category and 7 students (22.58%) in the medium category. Scores in post-test I showed 13 students (41.93%) in the medium category and 18 students (58.07%) in the low category, and the acquisition of post-test II scores showed 31 students (100%) in the high category. The increase occurred in cycle I as many as 5 students (16.12%)increased from the low category to medium and the increase in cycle II showed 31 students (100%) increased to the high category with the score having met 75% of the number of students achieving a score of ≥76%.

Abstract

The research aims to increase knowledge and understanding of students duringcitizenship education earning about the spirit of national awakening spirit in personal social through cooperative learning model. A method used in this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The researcher used the method with the research approach given o solve the problem in this case providing a solution with quantitative descriptive. It is a way of determining how to obtain data on these variables. In research activities, researchers follow an appropriate procedure by obtaining data. A totaling 32 students in he eighth grade of A at SMPN 4 Sungai Raya participated in this study. Based on theresults of the pre-cycle, among 32 students only 11 students passed the test with a percentage of 34%. In cycle 1, 27 students passed with a percentage of 84% and continued o cycle II with improved planning and implementation. In cycle II, 32 students passed with a 100% percentage. Cooperative learning model can help students to understand about certain topics because there are smaller and more effective groupings.

Abstract

This study aims to increase knowledge and understanding of students whenlearning number pattern. Each individual does not know for sure where to start with the right and not difficult counting pattern. The method with a quantitative descriptive research approach. Classroom Action Research (CAR) is a way of determining how to obtain data on these variables. In research activities, this method of obtaining data is known as the data collection method. The participants of this research were eighth grade of A students, totaling 35 students in SMPN 4 Sungai Raya. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that 15 students passed with a percentage of 42% in the Pre-cycle. Moreover, 24 students passed with a percentage of 68% and continued to Cycle II. There were 31 students passed with a percentage of 88% and 4 students (12%) who have not passed. In sum, Cooperative Learning Model can help students to understand number pattern topic.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' knowledge and understanding of forces and motion. Each individual does not know precisely where the material will be given when starting the effective learning process that is appropriate and not difficult to improve overall abilities and knowledge through problem-based learning (PBL). The method with a quantitative descriptive research approach, Classroom Action Research (CAR), is a way of determining how to do it with cycles. The participants were 26 sixth grade students in elementary school. Cycle 1 passed 15 students with a percentage of 65%. Those who have not passed are eight students, with a percentage of 35%. Then, continued to cycle II implementing the PBL Model, 26 students passed with a percentage of 100%.

Abstract

This study aims to increase knowledge and understanding of students in theyouth pledge learning which is considered forgotten by the globalization with theexistence of digitalization. It can be used to find out and understand youth programs tomaintain Indonesia as a complete and advanced country through the CooperativeLearning Model. The method with the research approach given to solve the problem inthis case provides a solution with quantitative descriptive. The Classroom ActionResearch (CAR) is a way of determining how to obtain data on these variables. In researchactivities, researchers follow an appropriate procedure by obtaining data, this is known asa data collection. The participants who joined this study were eighth grade students, totaling 33 students in SMPN 4 Sungai Raya. Based on the results of the research, 14students passed the test with a percentage of 42% during pre-cycle. In Cycle 1, there were29 students passed with a percentage of 87% and continued to Cycle II. There were 31students from 36 students with a percentage of 93% and 7% students have failed in CycleII. It can be conclude that Cooperative Learning Model can improve students’ ability tounderstand the concept. Thus, they are able to gain a broader knowledge.

Abstract

This study aims to increase students’ knowledge and understanding of motionand force. Each individual does not know exactly which material will be given at the beginning of the effective learning process that is appropriate and not difficult through the Cooperative Learning Model Method with a quantitative descriptive research approach. Classroom Action Research (CAR) is a way of determining how to do it in cycles. Both cycles, this method of obtaining data is known as the data collection method. Research subjects were seventh grade of C, totaling 35 students at the SMPN 4 Sungai Raya. There were 24 students with a percentage of 68% and continued Cycle II with improvements in planning and implementation accurately and properly using the Cooperative Learning Model in depth can only be said to have 33 students passed among 35 students with a percentage of 94%, 6% or 2 students who have not has passed. Through the implementation of cooperative learning model, the students can understand motion and force concepts well.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' knowledge and understanding of rounding numbers through project-based learning (PjBL). The method was Classroom Action Research (CAR). CAR is a way of determining how to do it with cycles. The participants were 51 fifth grade students in elementary school. In cycle 1, 31 students passed with a Percentage of 51% and those who have not passed amounted to 20 students with a percentage of 39%.  Then, continued to cycle II applying the PJBL Model. The result was 47 Students passed with a Percentage of 97% and those who have not passed amounted to 4 students with a percentage of 3%. Through the implementation of PJBL Model, the understanding of rounding numbers in mathematics learning can be accepted because of grouping, direct trials and one of the students is given a vast opportunity to conduct smaller and effective discussions If there is difficulty for students during learning, they can provide information to each other through questions and answers and look for references in textbook.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to improve the ability of fractions for third grade students in elementary school where students are still experiencing doubts and the way of learning is not right with the right model. Students will be more enthusiastic about learning and able to provide knowledge with what will be received when learning. The method with a quantitative descriptive research approach. Classroom Action Research (CAR) is a way of determining how to do it with cycles I and II. Data analysis with CAR based on the results of research conducted during several meetings. The result indicated that in cycle 1, 15 students passed with a percentage of 40% and continued to cycle II with improved planning and implementation using PjBL model. There were 27 students with a percentage of 100% passed in this cycle. The implementation of PjBL model in the learning process can help students to digest the topic.
