Abstract

Teacher professionalism must always be maintained and improved on an ongoing basis to be able to create superior students and a conducive learning situation, hence the need for research that will be used as a standard of measurement, especially at this time the adaptation of new habits is very problematic both for the teachers themselves and for others student. This research method was a quantitative descriptive study. “Descriptive research is intended to describe a situation or phenomena as they are. Survey research was conducted to make generalizations from observation, and the results will be more accurate. The survey method was used to obtain data from certain natural (not artificial) places, but researchers carry out treatments in data collection, for example, by giving a questionnaire using a total sampling technique, all teachers are used as direct objects in data collection and with the results of the study answering yes 874 with a percentage of 95% and 46 answered no with a percentage of 5% meaning that the professionalism of the teacher when carrying out the task was classified as good and very good because he was still able and able to carry out his duties according to the model, strategy and approach to students and between teachers while at school.

Abstract

This study explained the increase in learning independence, learning motivation, and learning outcomes in science learning through gadget-based internet for fifth-grade students. The study was a classroom action research conducted at an elementary school. The number of participants was 25 students. Data collection was carried out using an observation sheet, test questions, questionnaires, and documentation. The results and data analysis indicated that the use of gadget-based internet could improve learning independence, motivation, and outcomes in science learning. The increase in student’s learning independence can be seen from the first cycle as much as 16%, second cycle 36%, and third-cycle students who have high learning independence again increased to 60%. The increase of student’s learning motivation can be seen from the first cycle as much as 36%, second cycle 48%, and third-cycle students who have high learning motivation again increased to 64%. The increase in student’s learning outcomes can be seen from the first cycle. It was obtained that 60% had reached learning standard, the second cycle 76% had reached learning standard, and the third cycle, 88%, reached learning standards.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, evaluation and learning barriers of quantum teaching-based mathematics in developing student’s interest and learning outcome in elementary school. Data was obtained by observation, in-depth interviews, field records, document data analysis, and teaching and learning process documentation. Research data was checked for its validity by triangulation to obtain accurate and legitimate data. Data analysis was done through data reduction, data display, verification and conclusion. The results of the research were: (1) The quantum teaching-based mathematics lesson plan (RPP) designed by the teacher was generally qualified in the development of RPP;  (2) The study of mathematics based on quantum teaching was implemented according to the program that has been drafted to foster the learning interest of learners, although sometimes it should adapt to the situation and condition that occurred suddenly; (3) The evaluation was not monotonous, evaluation of learning using several assessment instruments to make the teacher understand how to foster learning interest and ability of learners (4) Learning mathematics based on quantum teaching requires supporting means of both multi-media learning, multi learning resources and so on.

Abstract

Generally, this study aims to describe the improvement of learning outcome using PowerPoint slide media on arithmetic learning in fourth-grade elementary school students. The method used was descriptive in Classroom Action Research (CAR). This study was done in three cycles and found the description about a learning plan, learning implementation, characteristic of PowerPoint slide media, implementation technique of learning evaluation, and improvement of student learning outcomes. There is an improvement of learning in every cycle. The student reaching the target of learning (KKM) was increased from 37% in cycle 1 up to 68% in cycle 3.

Abstract

The general research objective in this study is to investigate the learning of animal name recognition through cooperative learning in elementary school students. Initially, students were not familiar with various strategies and approaches, so that each student was able to repeat and understand the names - animal names easily. The research method used was classroom action research (CAR). The participants in this study were fifth-grade students, totalling 15 students. At the time the learning was carried out, the students still lacked understanding. When the pre-cycle of only five students from 15 students had passed with a percentage of 33%, the increase in knowledge continued to cycle 1, and ten students passed with a percentage of 66%. They continued Cycle II with improved planning, and accurate implementation had passed 15 students with a 100% percentage. With the Cooperative Learning model, the learning was easier to accept because there were smaller and more effective groups if the students had difficulties in learning.

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved in this study are to find out how the supervision of elementary school teachers in preparing a lesson plan. Then to investigate how a teacher prepared the lesson plan in terms of several aspects such as the competence of a teacher in pedagogy, professional, personality and social. The method in this study was descriptive because this method makes it easier for researchers to express the symptoms that occur when conducting research. The form of research used in this study was a survey. The sample in this study were all teachers at Elementary School (SD) 01 Matang Suri, Indonesia totalling nine teachers consisting of four civil servants and five non-permanent teachers. Based on the results of data analysis, 270 (75%) questionnaire items were answered yes, and 90 (25%) were answered no with meaning that when the teacher was supervised, it was in a good category.

Abstract

This study aims to improve elementary school student's knowledge and understanding of the Names of Allah topic. Each individual or group does not know about Asmaul Husna. The material will be provided when starting the learning process from easy to difficult which is effectively integrated and becomes easier and real to accept and read, even memorize and preserve for days in the good life and not difficult to improve the ability and knowledge thoroughly and compatibly.  Through cooperative learning method with a quantitative descriptive research approach Classroom Action Research (CAR) is a way of determining how to do it with cycles I to II, how to obtain this data is known as the data collection method. The participant in the the study was fourth graders, which amounted to 33 students in elementary school. In cycle I, 24 students passed with a percentage of 72%. Those who have not passed amounted to 9 students with a percentage of 28%. Then, in Cycle II with improved planning and implementation accurately using the problem based learning (PBL) model, the number of passed students was 33 students with a percentage of 100%.

Abstract

This study aims to improve greetings in English language learning through theCooperative Learning Model. Students are expected to easily absorb the material provided by the teacher during learning. The method used was the Classroom Action Research (CAR) with quantitative descriptive research approach is a way of determining how to obtain data on these variables through cycles In research activities, how to obtain this data is known as the data collection method. The research subjects were eight grade of A which amounted to 32 students at SMPN 4 Sungai Raya, Kubu Raya. Based on the results of the research during the Pre-Cycle, among 32 students, 14 students passed with a percentage of 43%. There were 26 students passed with a percentage of 81% in Cycle I and continuedCycle II with improved planning and implementation of learning, especially improving the lesson plan accurately and on target using Cooperative Learning Model. There were 30 students have passed with a percentage of 93% and 7% or 2 students who have not passed. Through the implementation of Cooperative Learning Model, students can understand the topics well because of smaller groupings. It was effective because if there are difficulties for students during learning, they can provide information to each other through questions and answers with students and with the teacher directly.

Abstract

The cooperative model of think pair share (TPS) type is one of the cooperative learning models designed to invite students to find answers to questions from a concept through a group. One of the problems faced in learning Mathematics is the low learning outcomes of students, this is due to the learning process at school, which is still teacher-centered. This study aims to determine whether the cooperative model type think pair share (TPS) can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics learning in seventh grade SMPN 24 Pontianak. This type of research is a class action research (PTK) with 3 cycles. Data collection techniques in this study used IPKG and test/evaluation. The results of the study obtained student learning outcomes in learning mathematics with the TPS type cooperative learning model have increased, for the average value of student learning outcomes, cycle 1 was 76.67, cycle 2 reached 77.33 and cycle 3 reached 80.50, while for the percentage of student learning outcomes completeness, cycle 1 there were 66.67% (10 students) completed learning, cycle 2 reached 80.00% (12 students) completed learning, and cycle 3 reached 86.67% (13 students) completed learning. These results indicated the success in learning mathematics with the Think Pair Share (TPS) type cooperative model, because it has met the success criteria ≥ 75% of all students have reached passing grade. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in student learning outcomes in mathematics learning using the Think Pair Share (TPS) type cooperative model in seventh grade.

Abstract

This study aims to improve knowledge and understanding of energy changes in students. Each individual or group does not know exactly where the material will be given when starting the learning process from easy to difficult, which is effective, appropriate, and not difficult to improve abilities and knowledge thoroughly and cooperatively through project based learning (PjBL). The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collection with CAR was administered in fifth grade which amounted to 68 students in elementary school. There were 52 students in Cycle I passed with a percentage of 72%. The students who have not passed amounted to 16 students with a percentage of 28%. In Cycle II, 68 students with a percentage of 100%. The implementation of PJBL Model, understanding of Energy Changes in science learning can be accepted because there is a gradual trial of direct trials, and one of the students are given a wide opportunity to conduct a smaller and effective discussion. If there is a difficulty for students during learning, they can provide information to each other through questions and answers and look for references in other resources.
