Abstract

Background: Striae gravidarum is the stretching of the skin beyond its elastic limit that causes blue or reddish lines to appear on the abdomen, thighs, and breasts of pregnant women. Striae gravidarum can cause itching, burning, and dryness, as well as emotional disturbances that cause discomfort in most pregnant women. The prevalence of Striae gravidarum in pregnant women worldwide ranges from 50% to 90% but specific data on Striae gravidarum is not recorded because Striae gravidarum is a complaint or discomfort during pregnancy that is sometimes ignored by pregnant women themselves. Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) is coconut oil that contains ingredients that effectively maintain skin elasticity. This study is a development of research that has been conducted previously by researchers related to Striae gravidarum and Virgin Coconut Oil. Aims: The purpose of this study was to conduct a comparative study regarding the more significant effectiveness of using Virgin Coconut Oil and Olive Oil on the degree of Striae gravidarum. Methods: This research uses quasi experiment. with Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The population of this study were all pregnant women in Errabu Village, Bluto District, Sumenep Regency. The sample is Trimester II pregnant women in Errabu Village using purposive sampling method. Data analysis will use a significance level of <0.5 then compare whether VCO or Olive Oil has the most significant effect in reducing the degree of Striae Gravidarum. Results: The results of the analysis show that the p-value of 0.04 < α (0.05) so that H1 is accepted, H0 is rejected, which means there is a difference in the effectiveness of using Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) and Olive Oil on reducing the degree of Striae Gravidarum in pregnant women, although both oils are equally effective in reducing the degree of striae gravidarum. Conclusion: VCO is more effective than olive oil in reducing the degree of striae gravidarum in second trimester pregnant women in Errabu Village, Sumenep District. Keyword: Virgin Coconut Oil; Olive Oil; Striae Gravidarum

Abstract

The integration of primary healthcare services (ILP) is a strategic effort to enhance access and quality of healthcare services in Indonesia. However, the implementation of ILP is often hindered by the lack of integrated and accurate data recording systems, particularly in Nganjuk Regency. To address this issue, the Health Single Data Application (ASDK) was introduced as an innovative solution aimed at integrating health data from various healthcare facilities, including community health centers (puskesmas) and hospitals. ASDK is designed to facilitate coordination and monitoring of primary healthcare services, improve efficiency, and ensure that patients receive timely and appropriate care. This community service activity was conducted on January 13, 2025, at the Nganjuk Community Health Center, involving 50 healthcare workers. The methods employed included training on the use of ASDK, data recording simulations, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test assessments. The evaluation results indicated a significant improvement in the healthcare workers' ability to use ASDK, with a 40% increase in data recording efficiency, a reduction in data duplication, and enhanced reporting accuracy. Additionally, ASDK enabled real-time access to patient data, minimized recording errors, and improved reporting speed. The primary challenges in implementing ASDK were the lack of awareness and skills among healthcare workers in using information technology, as well as uneven technological infrastructure. Therefore, intensive training and improvements in technological infrastructure are essential. Consequently, ASDK not only facilitates data integration but also enhances the overall quality of healthcare services. This initiative is expected to serve as an effective model for improving health data integration in Nganjuk Regency and can be replicated in other regions.

Abstract

The socialization of the Health Single Data Application (ASDK) in Tulungagung Regency aims to enhance the integration of primary healthcare service (ILP) recording through the utilization of information technology. This activity was conducted on June 15, 2024, involving 50 healthcare workers from various community health centers. The methods used included intensive training, data recording simulations, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test assessments. The evaluation results indicated a significant improvement in participants' understanding, with 85% reporting increased proficiency in using ASDK. Additionally, the participants' enthusiasm during the training sessions demonstrated the effectiveness of interactive approaches and the use of visual media. The main challenges in implementing ASDK were the lack of human resource readiness and uneven technological infrastructure. Therefore, recommendations included regular training and the development of more user-friendly ASDK features. As a result, the ASDK socialization successfully improved the efficiency and accuracy of health data recording, supporting the creation of more integrated and responsive primary healthcare services in Tulungagung Regency.
