Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is being felt all over the world, especially in Indonesia. Covid-19 has had an impact on the health, economic and social sectors. The large number of deaths due to disease causes changes in the composition of the population. To prevent the spread from becoming more widespread, the government implemented large-scale social restrictions. Travel restrictions and long stays at home have the government fearing a post-pandemic boom in births. Therefore the government focuses on birth control. This study aims to determine the development of a pandemic and its impact on the number of new users of family planning methods in East Java Province. The research used secondary data that came from the website of the East Java Provincial Health Office and the Population and Family Planning Agency from March 2020 to November 2021. The results of the regression test showed that there was no effect between the number of positive confirmed cases of Covid-19 and the number of new users of contraceptive methods. This shows that the policies developed have been successful and it is hoped that there will be a strategy for family planning services for other emergencies. Socialization and establishing cooperation between health workers in the field also need to be improved, especially for health workers in the private sector.

Abstract

Coffee is a type of plant that contains caffeine and can be processed into a delicious drink. In the process of making coffee usually used artificial sweeteners and natural sweeteners. People prefer artificial (synthetic) sweeteners because they are relatively cheap and easy to obtain. The artificial sweetener that is often used by traders is cyclamate. Cyclamate is highly soluble in water and has a sweetness level of 30 times that of sugar. According to research conducted by Indoforum, 2008 in Sebayang, et.al. 2015, Artificial sweeteners (cyclamate) can have negative effects on human health. This study aims at Cyclamate Analysis of Various Brands of Coffee Sachets Sold at Pasar Keputih Surabaya. This type of research is descriptive with a total sample of 30 samples, with qualitative analysis. Using the deposition reaction test method, namely if there is a white precipitate of BaSO4, it means that the sample contains cyclamate / the sample is positive. The results of the cyclamate analysis study on 30 samples of sachet packaged coffee drinks taken from the Surabaya keputih market were not detected or did not contain cyclamate, this was because no white precipitate of BaSO4 was formed when analyzed with the BaCl2 reaction. It can be concluded that the 30 samples of coffee drinks that were The cyclamate has been examined and does not contain artificial sweeteners (cyclamate).

Abstract

Background: Stunting is still one of the global national and international issues experienced by toddlers in the world because stunting can cause physical and functional disruption of the body and increases the risk of degenerative diseases as adults. Apart from affecting health, stunting will have an impact on intelligence levels. Stunting indicators are Body Length and Height according to Age, indicating short or very short body conditions in toddlers based on the level of nutritional status. Government regulations specify that the government is responsible for ensuring that every citizen, including children, receives basic health services. Monitoring the growth and development of toddlers can be done at Posyandu. An understanding of monitoring child growth and development is very important for health workers and posyandu cadres as the spearhead of health in the community. Cadres' skills in monitoring children's growth and development are expected to be able to determine children's nutritional status and developmental status accurately. Posyandu cadres must have competence in anthropometric measurements and assessing the nutritional status of infants and toddlers. Some studies show that the majority of cadres still lack skills in measuring anthropometry. Aims: Researchers want to know the effect of cadre training on improving height measurement skills and assessing stunting status in toddlers in Parsanga Village, Sumenep Regency Methods: This research is experimental research using a pre-experimental design with a One Group Pretest Posttest design. The subjects in this study were posyandu cadres, the number of samples taken in this study used a total sampling technique (45 respondents) Results: Almost the majority (42.2%) of the cadres are aged 20-40 years, and the education of the majority of respondents (55.6%) is high school (SMA/SMK/MA), the length of time they have been in the cadres for almost half of the respondents is less than 5 years (44.4%) and the majority of respondents (77.8%) have never attended training related to improving toddler anthropometric measurement skills or training on stunting prevention. Based on the results of data analysis using the Wilcoxon test, there was an increase in skills in measuring height and assessing stunting status in toddlers after training with a p-value of 0.00 Conclusion:There was an increase in cadres' skill scores in measuring toddlers' height before and after training with a p-value of 0.000, as well as an increase in cadres' skill scores in assessing toddlers' stunting status between before and after training with a p-value of 0.000. This case study used 5 respondents with ineffective breastfeeding nursing problems. Results and Discussion: The results of this study showed 5 (83%) major signs in 4respondents and 6 (100%) major signs in 1 respondent. Meanwhile, 4 (80%) minorsigns were found in 5 respondents. The factors causing the problem of ineffective breastfeeding nursing were breast anomalies (inverted nipples) in 2 respondents, swollen breasts, inadequate breast milk supply and lack of exposure to information. It is hoped that the results of this research will be an additional reference in conducting further studies for the process of enforcing a diagnosis of ineffective breastfeeding nursing

Abstract

Introduction: Incomplete documentation often occurs as a result of nurses' non-compliance in carrying out professional work, where documents should have completeness and accuracy in accordance with standard operating procedures in hospitals. The aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between quality of nursing work life (QNWL) and compliance with phlebitis prevention bundle documentation. Methods: Quantitative research with a cross sectional approach conducted in February 2024 at RSUD Ibnu Sina Gresik. The sample size was 148 respondents from 203 populations recruited using probability type cluster random sampling. The independent variable is QNWL and the dependent variable is compliance with phlebitis prevention bundle documentation. Correlation test using spearmen rho with SPSS version 22 software. Results: The research results showed that the QNWL of nurses was in the sufficient category at 75% and compliance with documentation of the pheblitis prevention bundle was mostly in the adequate category at 44.6%. The results of the correlation test show that there is a significant relationship, namely p-value 0.001 (p<0.05). The Correlation Coefficient value is 0.261, which means there is a strong correlation between QNWL and compliance with phlebitis prevention bundle documentation. Conclusion: This research provides the view that improving the quality of life of nurses' performance will increase nurses' compliance in carrying out phlebitis prevention bundle documentation.
