Abstract

Perubahan iklim global dan peningkatan suhu di berbagai wilayah menyebabkan kondisi cuaca yang lebih panas yang dapat berdampak pada kesehatan serta kenyamanan dalam beraktifitas. Seiring peningkatan pendapatan serta perubahan gaya hidup, kebutuhan akan kenyamanan dalam segala segi aktifitas kehidupanpun menjadi meningkat. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan untuk menjaga suhu ruangan tetap sejuk dan segar adalah dengan penggunaan Air conditioner (AC). Peningkatan penggunaan AC saat ini kemudian memunculkan adanya kebutuhan pengontrolan terhadap pola penggunaan AC yang fleksibel dari sisi pengguna. Meski berfungsi untuk memberikan kesejukan di ruangan, AC bisa menjadi sumber penggunaan energi yang besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sebuah prototype smart room yang dilengkapi dengan fitur mobile suhu dan pengendalian AC. Sistem ini menggunakan sensor suhu DHT22 dan mikrokontroler ESP32, dengan kontrol yang dapat diakses melalui perangkat mobile berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Pada tahap perancangan, sensor suhu DHT22 diintegrasikan dengan mikrokontroler Arduino Uno untuk mendapatkan data suhu ruangan secara real-time. Mikrokontroler tersebut kemudian terhubung dengan modul komunikasi nirkabel untuk mentransmisikan data suhu ke aplikasi. Aplikasi mobile dikembangkan untuk memonitor suhu ruangan dan mengontrol perangkat AC secara jarak jauh. Pengujian meliputi verifikasi pengambilan data suhu yang akurat, pengiriman data suhu ke aplikasi mobile, dan pengendalian perangkat AC sesuai dengan perintah dari aplikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah prototype dan aplikasi mobile yang dapat memonitoring suhu serta mengontrol perangkat AC dari jarak jauh sehingga pengguna dapat menentukan pola pemakaian AC sesuai kebutuhannya.

Abstract

East Java has Malang City as the second-largest city. Common problems that occur in big cities in Indonesia are overcrowding and increasingly limited land. The solution to this problem is to develop vertical housing types such as apartments and flats. The need for new apartment development as a response to high public demand, by creating an analytical hierarchy process and a system for apartment developers, will assist apartment developers in making decisions. With AHP, you can determine the suitability of the apartment construction location with supporting parameters, namely slope maps, road network accessibility maps, existing land use maps, spatial pattern maps, distance maps to public facilities, and water availability maps. The results of the analysis of the suitability of apartment development in the city of Malang using AHP and GIS are then studied for the suitability of land use against the RTRW so that the implementation and development of apartment development in the city of Malang are according to plan. So that decision-making can be relevant and make the city of Malang an ideal city.

Abstract

The MI Nurrohmah Bina Insani religious activity monitoring system is a web-based system that monitors religious activities carried out by students. This system is created to assist teachers and parents in monitoring students both at school and at home. The system is developed due to issues with the recording of student monitoring activities still using logbooks, which are prone to damage or loss. The monitoring includes daily monitoring and religious monitoring. The system will report the results of daily and religious monitoring activities carried out by students every day. Parents and teachers can directly view the monitoring reports through the provided system. This research focuses on the development of the MI Nurrohmah Bina Insani religious activity monitoring system. The system is developed using the waterfall method, and its system testing stage is conducted using black-box testing method.

Abstract

Information technology, especially the internet, is developing rapidly. According to We Are Social, internet users in Indonesia will increase in January 2023 compared to the previous year. Artificial Intelligence (AI) such as ChatGPT, makes human work easier and is frequently utilized in many sectors, including education. Surabaya is the city with the most universities in East Java, having 74 universities. However, ChatGPT has limitations in information accuracy and understanding complex contexts. The focus of this research is to identify factors that influence the acceptance of ChatGPT with modified TAM by students at universities and state educational institutions in Surabaya. With 399 respondents, the test used the SEM-PLS technique and SmartPLS 3 software. The research results showed that the intrinsic motivation (IM) variable had a significant effect on ease of use (PEOU). The variables intrinsic motivation (IM) and perceived usefulness (PU) have a positive and significant effect on behavioral intention (BI) in using ChatGPT. Apart from that, the variables ease of use (PEOU) and intrinsic motivation (IM) also have a positive and significant influence on perceived usefulness (PU). Meanwhile, the ease of use (PEOU) variable on behavioral intention (BI) has a positive but not significant influence. Perceived ease of use (PEOU) of ChatGPT does not directly influence users' desire to use (BI) ChatGPT through the intermediary of perceived usefulness (PU).

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology (ICT) has driven a shift in business strategies from conventional marketing to digital marketing, with e-commerce becoming an increasingly popular form of trade. The utilization of e-commerce in Indonesia shows great potential for further development. One key technology in e-commerce is the website, and Bukalapak is one of the e-commerce platforms that relies on its website for product marketing. To remain competitive and enhance user satisfaction, Bukalapak needs to focus on and improve the quality of its website. This study aims to identify the priority indicators that need improvement on Bukalapak's website based on the Webqual 4.0 quality dimensions and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The research method uses purposive sampling with 400 respondents who are Bukalapak users. The gap analysis results show that the performance quality of Bukalapak's website does not meet user expectations, with negative results in the variables of Usability Quality (-0.0118), Information Quality (-0.105), and Service Interaction Quality (-0.10125). The IPA quadrant analysis reveals three main indicators that need improvement: UQ6, IQ11, and IQ14. Additionally, there are several indicators with low priority for improvement located in quadrant III, namely UQ1, UQ4, IQ10, IQ13, SI16, SI20, and SI22. This study provides important insights for Bukalapak to improve the quality of its website to meet user expectations. Abstract

Current technological developments make it easier for people to fulfill various needs more easily, efficiently, and quickly. One example is e-commerce. The Surabaya City Government launched the E-Peken Surabaya application in 2021 to support MSMEs, grocery stores, and Culinary Tourism Centers (SWK) in Surabaya. The main goal of E-Peken Surabaya is to boost the local economy affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite its conveniences, this application faces user experience issues, such as malfunctioning features, inefficient systems, limited payment methods, and a monotonous impression. This study evaluates the user experience of E-Peken Surabaya using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method. Sampling involved 375 City Government ASNs who use E-Peken. Data was analyzed using the UEQ Data Analysis Tool. The results show an average value on the Attractiveness scale of 1.87, Clarity 1.86, Efficiency 1.80, Accuracy 1.70, Stimulation 1.76, and Novelty 1.52. The correlation test showed all scales were >0.70, indicating high reliability. The Attractiveness scale scored the highest, showing users liked the overall app impression. In contrast, the Novelty scale scored the lowest, indicating users did not perceive the app's uniqueness compared to other e-commerce. These findings highlight areas for improvement to enhance the user experience of E-Peken Surabaya.

Abstract

Technology is currently developing very rapidly, one of the advantages with the presence of technology is that business can be done online without being limited by distance and time and the activity of business transactions is known as e-commerce. One of the e-commerce that is famous and in demand by many buyers in Indonesia is the shopee e-commerce application, this research aims to determine the satisfaction of e-commerce customers in using the shopee application using the EUCS model. This research used a quantitative method with a purposive sampling technique which resulted in a sample of 277 respondents. The results of the research conducted on the R2 test, it is known that the R Square value is 0.686, which means that variable of content, accuracy, format, ease of use and timeliness simultaneously affects the satisfaction variable by 68.6%. Furthermore, from the results of the T test, it can be seen that there is an effect of the variables of content, format, ease of use and timeliness on the satisfaction variable, but the accuracy variable has no effect on the satisfaction variable. And the researcher carried out an F test in this study, and the results of the F test showed that the significant value for the influence of the variables content, accuracy, format, ease of use and timeliness simultaneously had an influence on the user satisfaction variable.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) plays a significant role in enhancing students' learning competencies and motivation, particularly in the field of informatics. This study aims to explore the types of AI most frequently used by students, their experiences in utilizing AI, and its impact on understanding the material, analytical skills, and programming abilities. A case study was conducted on students of the Informatics Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, class of 2023. A qualitative method was applied with data triangulation through observation, interviews, and questionnaire surveys. The results showed that ChatGPT was the most widely used AI (68.42%), followed by Blackbox AI and Copilot, both of which were highly effective in simplifying coding and debugging processes. AI proved to enhance learning efficiency, provide quick solutions, broaden perspectives, and support mastery of algorithms and programming syntax. However, excessive dependence on this technology poses a risk of diminishing critical thinking skills and academic integrity. This study emphasizes the importance of digital literacy and ethical guidelines to ensure the wise use of AI, so that this technology can support learning without compromising the development of students' independent skills

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has increased the production of educational content on social media platforms, including TikTok. However, the abundance of available content makes it difficult for content creators to select high-quality references. Therefore, this study develops a decision support system using the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method to evaluate and rank the best educational videos. This study utilizes 200 educational videos from TikTok, assessed based on seven criteria, namely Hook, visual quality, audio quality, content relevance, text narration, duration, and the number of Likes. Each video is weighted based on expert interviews and analyzed using the TOPSIS method to generate the best content rankings. The results show that the video with the highest score of 0.89612 is the most suitable educational content according to the quality standards, while the video with the lowest score of 0.158256 has lower quality. With this system, content creators can more efficiently design engaging, informative, and educationally impactful content strategies.

Abstract

The thyroid is a vital gland in the human neck, regulating metabolism through its hormones. Hormonal disorders in the thyroid can significantly affect health. Data mining techniques, such as the random forest algorithm, are used to analyze thyroid disease data. Previous research has used methods such as Decision Tree and Support Vector Machine with high accuracy results. This study aims to apply the random forest method in the classification of thyroid disease diagnoses. Research questions include factors that affect accuracy, the effect of parameter changes on the model, and optimal data sharing. The results show that parameters such as the number of decision trees, maximum depth, and minimum number of samples can affect the accuracy of the model. The evaluation showed that the highest accuracy was obtained in the first test with a data split of 80/20 with an accuracy result of 99%. This study concludes that the random forest method is effective in improving the accuracy of thyroid disease diagnosis and the importance of parameter adjustment for optimal results.
