Abstract

The inability to perform security duties is a problem that has serious consequences for both the company and the members of the security force. In today's increasingly competitive environment, where companies must search for highly competent people, a more sophisticated technical approach is needed to overcome this problem. One of the techniques used in data analysis is data mining. The researchers implemented a classification method using decision trees. Decision trees were chosen because they are one of the most used techniques in data analysis and provide rules that are easy to apply. This study uses the C4.5 algorithm to generate classification rules that decide whether a member of a security unit should be retained in a company. The results of this study showed an accuracy rate of 99.84%, demonstrating excellent ability to predict the incompetence of security unit members. Through this approach, data regarding the incompetence of security force members can be presented in a more professional and effective manner, helping companies make more informed decisions about personnel. their affairs

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate current systems and processes as well as design and build a medical record lending information system using Visual Studio 2012 at Al-Ihsan Regional Hospital in Bandung. The research method used is qualitative research with data collection through observation, interviews, internet browsing and information system design within a system development framework built using the waterfall method using the Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 tool. In this study, several problems were found in the medical record borrowing process, among others, inefficiencies in the document borrowing system, the use of using Excel-based manuals, as well as obstacles in obtaining documents. It is suggested that a system designed to record loans be used to speed up the process and manage duplicate data more effectively.

Abstract

For registration and reporting of operating patients at the Hermina Arcamanik Bandung hospital, manual recording is still done using paper forms, so stored data can be damaged or lost. The purpose of this study was to determine the governance of electronic-based medical records in supporting operational reporting using agile methods. The system developed for registration of surgical patients is based on a web, intending to make it easier for officers to record operating patients, minimize work time, and store data in the cloud service so that operating patient data is not damaged or lost. Development of a system for registering and reporting surgical patients at the Hermina Arcamanik Bandung hospital using the Agile method is very suitable for short-term projects because this method will be very adaptable if changes occur in a project. The system that has been made is tested using the black-box testing method. Researchers hope that the system built will be able to solve problems that often occur with the damage or loss of operational reporting documents

Abstract

Technological advancements have had a significant impact on life, including work and education. In the era of globalization, technological development is very important, including in the learning process. Attendance is an important aspect of student performance assessment. However, the manual timekeeping system has problems such as fraud, low accuracy, and data entry errors. This study aims to design conferencing applications that use QR codes and location-based services (LBS) to simplify and accelerate attendance management. The development method used is prototyping, which allows interaction between developers and users. This application is built using App Inventor on Android operating system, allowing to scan QR codes for class attendance. Attendance data is automatically stored in Google Drive for recording and report generation that teachers can flexibly access. The application of this technology is expected to increase the efficiency and accuracy of attendance as well as the quality of the learning process in higher education institutions.

Abstract

Instagram Close Friends Feature as Self Disclosure of University Communication Science Students Experiencing Social Media Anxiety. The purpose of this study was to describe the Instagram close friends feature as self-disclosure for Mulawarman University Communication Science students who experience social media anxiety. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research method. The research focus refers to five aspects of self-disclosure according to Wheeles and Grotz (1976), namely purpose, amount, valence, accuracy and honesty, and depth. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. The stages of data analysis were carried out using the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification. The results showed the purpose of Mulawarman University Communication Science students using close friends as self-disclosure to channel ideas, information, emotions, complaints, outpourings, opinions, hobbies, romantic relationships, entertainment. All informants have anxiety when expressing themselves on social media, especially public Instagram. There is no difference in self-disclosure between men and women. The amount of self-disclosure carried out, in a day they upload a minimum of two posts or more on the close friends feature depending on the mood. The valence of self-disclosure is positive and negative. All informants have carefulness in controlling their self-disclosure, the information disclosed is honest and not exaggerated. They select close friends followers based on peers who are familiar and can be trusted to maintain each other's privacy information.

Abstract

Movie recommendation systems have become an interesting research topic, as they can assist users in finding movies that match their preferences. The Content-Based Filtering method is one of the methods commonly used in film recommendation systems, which focuses on film content to make recommendations. This study aims to develop a film recommendation system using the Content-Based Filtering method. This method is used to make film recommendations based on the similarity of the features of the films that have been watched by the user. This research uses case studies at SMK IDN Boarding School, where this film recommendation system was built as a means of learning data mining materials for students. Movie data is taken from the film API and processed using an algorithm to extract features from film content. Then, the system recommends films based on the similarity of features with the films that are liked by the user. The test results show that the developed film recommendation system has good performance in recommending films based on user preferences. Users can provide feedback to improve the accuracy of recommendations and the system can continue to be improved using more sophisticated methods.

Abstract

In the era of increasingly advanced technological development there are many supporting factors in supporting change or innovation from all aspects. The development of a technology really helps human work in various ways. All fields, both government and companies, have used technology in carrying out every service and business process, and technology itself has become an important and needed thing in all these fields. Currently the Salatiga city Diskominfo in collaboration with the Salatiga city hospital is making changes in the process of calculating the BPJS contributions to hospital employees, the old manual process has been changed into a form of a desktop-based application system, because the data input process is still done manually. many employees do not pay the BPJS contributions. Because the Salatiga City Hospital wants to take advantage of technology that is growing and does not require a lot of human resources to run the application. To create a desktop-based application system, a supporting framework is needed, namely the Delphi 10.4 Community Edition framework. This framework is very useful for programmers who will make an application because the template provided is very easy to understand so that programmers can easily make the application. This desktop-based application that was created can later make it easier for admins to manage input output data so that it becomes easier and more efficiently.

Abstract

Rumah Dermawan Indonesia Foundation is a foundation engaged in the humanitarian field in Tangerang. In its activities, the Foundation encounters a problem in recording cash flow, because incoming and outgoing cash flows are still recorded on only one platform, making it less effective. The problem of recording cash flows will be more effective if you use a web service system to facilitate recording of incoming and outgoing cash flows. The model method used to record cash flows on the right web service system for this problem is the REST-Ful API which can be applied to the foundation. Therefore, the researcher proposed an idea that would be applied to the Foundation with the theme of a cash system report using the REST-Ful API method. From the method that the author uses, namely the REST-Ful API method, it shows that it can be used on more than one platform. So that in the future if there is development on other platforms it can be reused. Because the output generated from the REST-Ful API is JSON (Javascript Object Notation). To create a REST-Ful API, researchers will use the Golang language program, this is because the language is light when compiling and processing data.

Abstract

Head office and branch VPN networks are used to connect the head office with branches spread across geographically separated areas. However, network security and availability can be affected by various factors, such as internet connection failures, excessive bandwidth usage, and other disturbances. To overcome this, researchers provide a solution for implementing Failover VPN at the head office and branches using SDWAN technology. With SDWAN, companies can choose a connection path that is more reliable and has a higher speed, thereby optimizing bandwidth usage and improving network availability. In this study, researchers tried to simulate Headquarters and Branch Office VPN Failover Using SDWAN Technology with the Best Quality Strategy at PNETLab. This study uses 2 connections, namely internet connection and MPLS. MPLS is Primary and the internet as Backup. The test is carried out using three schemes, scheme 1 when in normal conditions, scheme 2 when the packet loss on the MPLS link increases then traffic is taken over by the internet connection, and scheme 3 when the packet loss on the MPLS link returns to normal.

Abstract

An efficient and reliable WAN network is the key to success for modern businesses. With the increasing complexity of the network and the challenges in monitoring BUM traffic (Broadcast, Unkown Unicast, Multicast), a more sophisticated solution is needed. This research focuses on the use of EVPN-MPLS as a superior option for L2VPN technology. Using the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) method, this research implements EVPN-MPLS using Juniper devices and conducts performance testing using the PNET-LAB simulation application. The results show that EVPN-MPLS outperforms in terms of latency, jitter, and BUM traffic monitoring. In a testing scenario where one of the PE routers is down, EVPN experiences a packet loss of 4%, while VPLS reaches 12-16%. In addition, the active-active multihoming feature in EVPN-MPLS also offers efficient load balancing and capacity enhancement. Although it requires significant control plane routing resources, EVPN-MPLS promises to improve WAN network performance, especially for internet service providers. This research is expected to provide insights and practical recommendations for those who want to optimize their WAN network management.
