Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem pendeteksi gangguan dalam jaringan berbasis Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS) menggunakan Shorewall, serta mengetahui cara kerja dari shorewall dalam mencegah dan mengatasi sistem keamanan jaringan komputer SMK N 3 Kepahiang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksprimen. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisa yang akan dijadikan sebagai bahan untuk Implementasi sistem deteksi intrusi menggunaakn metode Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS) dengan memanfaatkan tools shorewall. Hasil eksprimen selanjutnya didokumentasikan untuk melakukan analisis sehingga dihasilkan rekomendasi yang tepat untuk sistem keamanan menggunakan deteksi intrusi shorewall. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Shorewall dapat diterapkan pada jaringan menggunakan 2 interface yang dapat digunakan untuk terhubung ke jaringan internet dan juga jaringan lokal, shorewall juga dapat digunakan sebagai sistem deteksi intrusi untuk Mac clone dan DDoS attack yang dapat dilakukan dalam jaringan sehingga dapat melakukan reject terhadap aktifitas mac clone dan DDoS attack. Penerapan shorewall sebagai sistem deteksi intrusi tidak mempengeruhi kualitas layanan, dimana dari hasil pengujian Berdasarkan ITU G.114 masih dikategorikan baik dengan nilai dari delay sebesar 1.92 ms, jitter sebesar 33.3 ms, packet loss sebesar 0%, dan throughput sebesar 548 kb.

Abstract

Cigarette smoke is a source of air pollution, especially indoors. The smoke from burning cigarettes doesn't just evaporate into the air, but there is nicotine residue that sticks to the dust or items around the smoker, such as clothes, carpets, walls. A smoke filter or smoke particulate filter is something that is really needed to reduce pollutants in the room. Research on "Testing Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) Cigarette Smoke Particulate Filters with Copper and Aluminum Electrodes" aims to analyze the comparison of the use of copper and aluminum electrodes as filters on ESP. In this research, a high voltage DC generator was used using the full-wave cascade method, for the high voltage that was successfully generated by this full-wave cascade method was 2.25 kV to 5.46 kV. From the test results, it was found that the difference in (∆ levels between the inlet and outlet containers (∆ using a copper plate was higher than using an aluminum plate. In addition, it can be concluded that increasing the voltage causes more (∆ levels to be filtered.

Abstract

The Implementation of Load Balancing Using Per Connection Classifier Method Using Mikrotik RB1100 By : Pedro Maldini Siagian 1) Hari Aspriyono 2) Eko Prasetiyo Rohmawan 2) Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu as a university which has 2.000 students and 250 employees, has internet access through 2 providers, namely Icon Dedicated and Icon Broadband. Even though it has 2 internet lines, the distribution of internet line that is evenly distributed still cannot be implemented. Load Balancing carried out on Mikrotik RB1100 at Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu can help distribute internet traffic evenly, and can overcome lost connections due to backing up broken connections with available connections. Load Balancing used Per Connection Classifier is a method that will send a set of packets over several existing links, taking into original account of packets. In this method, packets coming from one communication session will be routed through only one link. Through QoS (Quality of Service) testing that the result was that load balancing carried out was running well and as expected Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu which can evenly distribute the connection traffic used. Abstract

The increase in service users causes network problems, such as poor signal quality, sudden signal loss, or no network at all, To improve network quality, improvements are made to service coverage. One of them is by adding eNodeB. With the addition of eNodeB, network maintenance must be carried out to ensure identification and improvement related to network coverage and performance. If maintenance is not performed, it can cause bad spots, one of which is cell overshooting. The purpose of this research is to analyse the effect of cell overshooting on 4G LTE network coverage and quality parameters. 4G network coverage parameters are: Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) and 4G network quality parameters namely Signal to Interference Noise Ratio (SINR). From the drive test results obtained 80.77% of 546 samples on RSRP parameters ≥ -100 dBm and 32.78% of 546 samples on SINR parameters ≥ 3 dB. The low SINR parameter of the drive test results is caused by bad spot overshooting cell interference that occurs at site 4253364E and site MC425CC02E with sites around the bad spot area. From the analysis, it can be seen that bad spot overshooting cell affects network quality, while network coverage parameters do not. Where the RSRP parameters at the bad spot point are -87 dBm and -92 dBm and SINR parameters at the bad spot point are -1 dB and -3 dB.

Abstract

Fisheries is one of the sources of food security in Indonesia which plays an important role in the rich biodiversity of Indonesian coastal waters. This research uses the Chen Fuzzy Time Series Model forecasting method. The samples used in this study are data on the number of fishery commodity products with specific Tilapia and Catfish monthly Aceh Province as much as 24 data, starting from January 2021 to December 2022. The results of forecasting the number of tilapia in January 2023 were 1,320,815, with a MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error) value of 12.93%. And the result of forecasting the number of catfish in January 2023 was 2,339,568, with a MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error) value of 22.9%. This shows that forecasting using the Chen model Fuzzy Time Series method is good enough to forecast the number of tilapia and catfish in Aceh Province.

Abstract

Pada kanal komunikasi, sinyal informasi yang dikirimkan akan selalu mengalami gangguan karena adanya derau yang menyebabkan terjadinya kesalahan pendeteksian sinyal sehingga terjadi perubahan bit atau simbol pada sisi penerima. Hal ini menyebabkan konstelasi sinyal di sisi penerima tidak sama dengan konstelasi sinyal di sisi pengirim. Pada penelitian ini diteliti pengaruh derau AWGN pada sinyal yang dikirim. Untuk itu akan dibuat suatu pemodelan, simulasi dan analisis untuk mengamati pengaruh derau AWGN terhadap unjuk kerja sistem modulasi 16 QAM. Unjuk kerja tersebut dapat diketahui dari nilai Bit Error Rate (BER). Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya derau mempengaruhi unjuk kerja dari sistem komunikasi.

Abstract

This research aims to apply artificial intelligence or what is commonly known as Artificial Intelligence (AI) using fuzzy logic in the world of education. The topic of artificial intelligence has become a hot and important topic of conversation today. Fuzzy logic allows processing unclear information and is used to overcome uncertainty that exists in the world of education. This article discusses the use of fuzzy logic techniques to improve the quality of education. One application of fuzzy logic is in the development of an automatic assessment system used by lecturers in providing assessments to students in the learning process. Fuzzy logic can carry out assessments objectively and enable more appropriate curriculum adjustments based on students' interpersonal skills which can ultimately increase the efficiency of the learning process. The use of fuzzy logic can provide recommendations for the learning process that can help students find material that suits their interests and needs. Fuzzy logic can be used to measure student development in social and emotional cognitive aspects. The application of AI with fuzzy logic aims to improve the quality of education and student learning experiences in the world of education.

Abstract

With the addition of the antioxidant butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) and phenol, it affects the breakdown voltage characteristics of soybean oil as an alternative to transformer insulating oil. This test varied the addition of BHA by 2%, 3%, and 4%, and variations in the addition of phenol by 2%, 3%, and 4%. Samples were prepared with a volume of 500 ml. Mixing soybean oil with BHA and PHENOLS by heating and stirring using a magnetic stirrer. The test was carried out using an AC high voltage ball butt system and the gap between the balls was 2 mm, 2.5 mm and 3 mm. From the results of this test, it was found that the average VBD of pure soybean oil was 8.0 kV at a ball spacing of 2.5 mm. but at a concentration of 2% BHA, the breakdown voltage value is 8.3 kV, an increase of 0.3 kV, from the average pure soybean oil. Whereas at a concentration of 3% there was a decrease of 0.9 kV, and at the addition of 2%, 3% and 4% phenolic concentrations it always increased steadily. The highest average breakdown voltage was found in the addition of 2% phenol of 30.8 kV or an increase of 22.8 kV from the average pure soybean oil. The average VBD of pure soybean oil which shows that the best antioxidant composition is obtained from 2% Phenol.

Abstract

This research was conducted to detect and prevent disturbances or intrusions that occur on web servers, because by default the security system on web servers in a network still depends on the administrator, so the security of server really depends on the alertness of an administrator in responding to disturbances that occur on the web server. This research is using experimental method. This research was carried out by implementing OPNsense as a web server security system using Host Intrusion Prevention System method. The experimental results are then documented to carry out analysis so that appropriate recommendations are produced for designing a web server security system using HIPS method. The results of this research show that OPNsense can be used as a Host Intrusion Prevention System for LAN networks to secure web servers. OPNsense can prevent Port Scanning carried out on LAN networks. SQL injection process failed because no ID parameter was found. Apart from that, information is also visible that the web server is protected by WAF/IPS. Metasploit application via eth0 does not have permission to carry out a DOS attack on network devices with the address 192.168.80.200, which is the address of the web server.

Abstract

Indonesia's seas hold abundant natural resources and are a highly desirable location for marine fish farming, especially among fishermen. One of the most common methods used in this activity is the use of floating net cages. However, an obstacle faced by fishermen is limited access to electrical energy at the cage sites which are generally far from settlements. This research aims to design a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) in order to meet the electrical energy needs of fishermen in the floating net cage area. The focus of the research is on the design and assembly of the PLTS system with an emphasis on setting the optimal panel angle. The panel angle is calculated based on the amount of radiation received by the inclined plane surface, utilizing geographic location data obtained from NASA SSE. The results show that the proposed solar power plant design can meet the electrical energy demand in the floating net cage area. In practical implementation, the daily energy requirement of 481 Wh for lighting and automatic feeding devices can be met by using a 100 Wp solar PV system, with a battery storage capacity of 46 Ah. Furthermore, the determination of the optimal tilt angle, based on radiation and geographical factors at the location of floating net cages, is about 6 degrees, with a radiation value of 57.38848 kWh per year at the location of Padang Cermin, Durian District.
