Abstract

This study aims to investigate the role of mathematics tutoring in adding numbers to grade 2 students at SD Negeri Jeruk Soksok 01 Binakal District. The method used in this study was an experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample of this research was 20 grade 2 students consisting of 10 students in the experimental group and 10 students in the control group. The experimental group was given tutoring in mathematics while the control group was not given tutoring. The instrument used in this research is the number addition test. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest mean values of the experimental and control groups. In addition, the results of data analysis also show that mathematics tutoring has a significant role in improving students' numeracy skills. Therefore, it is suggested that mathematics tutoring continues to be improved and used as one of the important programs in improving the quality of learning mathematics at SD Negeri Jeruk Soksok 01 Binakal District.

Abstract

This study aims to improve speaking skills and understanding of various forms of energy through the use of snakes and ladders game media and experimental methods in fourth grade students at SDN Jeruk Soksok 1 Binakal District. This research was conducted using a quantitative approach with experimental research methods pre-test post-test control group design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class that used the snakes and ladders game media and the experimental method, and the control class that did not use the snakes and ladders game media and the experimental method. The instruments used in this study were tests of speaking ability and understanding of energy forms. The results showed that the use of snakes and ladders game media and experimental methods can improve speaking skills and understanding of energy forms in fourth grade students at SDN Jeruk Soksok 1 Binakal District. In conclusion, the use of snakes and ladders game media and experimental methods can be an effective alternative in improving students' speaking skills and understanding of energy forms in science subjects in grade fourth grade of SD.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study: Is the method of the Game Approach in the Long Jump Squat style able to improve the quality and improve the learning outcomes of health sports in class X PMS 2 SMK Negeri 1 Panji Situbondo. The general objective of this research is to improve teaching and learning outcomes of health sports subjects, especially the long jump. The specific purpose of this research is to improve the quality of learning in the Squat style long jump with a game approach strategy in class X PMS 2 SMK Negeri 1 Panji Situbondo in the 2019/2020 academic year. This research is a class action research or Classroom Action Research that focuses on efforts to change the current real conditions in the expected direction. Kemmis and Mc Taggart (1988; 5) stated that; Action research is a form of collective self-reflective inquiry undertaken by participants in social situation in order to improve the rationality and justice of their own social or educational practice, as well as their understanding of these practices and situations in which these practices are carried out. This means that classroom action research is a form of self-reflection research conducted by participants in social situations to improve thinking skills in educational processes and practices as well as understanding of practices and situations where practice is carried out. This classroom action research is planned in three cycles, where in each cycle consists of 4 components, namely; stages of Planning (Planning), Implementation of action (Action), Observation (Observation) and Reflection (Reflection). Implementation of learning by using learning models long jump squat style with a game approach strategy. In the initial conditions / before the study there were 25% of students who were able to make a jump. After cycle 1 there are 35% of students who are able to make a jump. In the second cycle there was an increase of 65% of students who were able to jump and in the third cycle there were 80% of students who were able to jump. From the results of the study it can be concluded that; training through a game approach strategy can improve the quality of the squat-style long jump learning in class X PMS 2 students of SMK Negeri I Panji Situbondo for the 2019/2020 academic year.

Abstract

One of the duties of the Principal is to carry out supervision in the school which is his responsibility. To carry out effective supervision of class observations requires conceptual, interpersonal and technical skills. Therefore, every school principal must own and master the concept of classroom observation supervision which includes: definition, purpose and function, principles, and substance dimensions of class visit supervision. One of the efforts made by the principal in improving the quality of education is through improving teacher performance in the teaching and learning process which is carried out through fostering supervision of the principal's class observation. The purpose of this school action research is to find out how far teacher performance has increased in carrying out effective learning at SDN Jeruk Soksok 3 through classroom observation supervision. In this action research conducted in 3 cycles, the results of the actions taken proved to be able to improve teacher performance by achieving ideal standards. The results of this school action research show that the implementation of the principal's class observation supervision can improve teacher performance with completeness reaching 100%, the teacher's response is very positive towards the guidance carried out by the principal through class observation supervision.

Abstract

This school action research aims to 1) improve teacher pedagogical competence in the use of instructional media through academic supervision 2). Knowing what steps are taken in carrying out academic supervision in order to improve teacher pedagogical competence in the use of instructional media. This researcher used a qualitative approach because in taking action on research subjects, what was prioritized was expressing meaning; namely the meaning and process of learning as an effort to increase motivation, enthusiasm and learning achievement through actions taken (Wahid Murni et al. 2008). The type of research used was school action research (PTS). PTS is an effort to improve the performance of the education system, and develop school management to be more productive, effective and efficient This school action research was carried out at SD Negeri Gadingsari 1 Jl. Gadingsari Rt. 01 Rw 01 Pakem District, Bondowoso Regency. This research was conducted for 3 months, from January 2019 to March 2019. The research subjects were all teachers of Gadingsari 1 Public Elementary School, Pakem District, Bondowoso Regency with a total of 10 teachers consisting of 7 PNS teachers and 3 temporary teachers. This school action research was carried out at SD Negeri Gadingsari 1 Jl. Gadingsari Rt. 01 Rw 01 Pakem District, Bondowoso Regency. Abstract

The many achievements in various developments in the world of education aim to improve the quality of student learning outcomes. Every development or progress achieved is an alternative for the teacher to try to improve the quality of the learning carried out. Improving the quality of qualified teaching staff needs to be carried out in a programmed, structured and sustainable manner through professional development by school supervisors. Efforts to increase the ability of teachers need a place that is able to accommodate various problems faced by teachers in the learning process to be able to find ways to solve problems. In planning the learning process what is meant is that an educator in an educational unit is required to be able to develop lesson plans. Meanwhile, a professional development system that should be able to empower its existence is now increasingly being used such as the KKG forum as an activity to assist, serve, direct, or organize all activities in in achieving the goal. The research location is in the Foster School Cluster, Binakal District, Bondowoso Regency, which consists of 11th schools. This research resulted in the conclusion that the implementation of Information and Communication Technology-based academic supervision carried out in the Binakal Sub-District Development Group was able to improve the ability of teachers to carry out the learning process. This is because the academic supervision process carried out is adjusted to the characteristics of the teacher and begins through a process of coaching and training with colleagues.

Abstract

The progress of a nation can be seen from the quality of education in a country. Quality education can provide opportunities for children to be able to develop all the potential that exists in them. Every child needs education as a provision to face increasingly fierce global competition. Education plays an important role in maintaining the production of quality human resources. Based on the results of the research and discussion in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that the use of the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of class X Multimedia SMK Negeri 1 Pakem. This can be seen in the following research data: 1). Learning completeness, Of the 30th students of Class X Multimedia SMK Negeri 1 Pakem the number of students who completed the pre-cycle was 46.67%, in cycle I it increased to 70.30, while in cycle II it increased to 83.33%. 2). Absorption of students, the absorption of students from 30 students of Class X Multimedia SMK Negeri 1 Pakem in the pre-cycle was 62.33%, in the first cycle it increased to 69.17%, while in the second cycle it increased to 76.83%

Abstract

The research "Employees' Synergy and Work Ethics in the Frame of the IM3 Amulet Package at the East Java Education Office in the Gresik Region" is a form of research that has never been conducted by researchers. Previous research has only focused on the issue of implementing education service policies as a policy product under the umbrella of governor policies or central government policies. This research is purely an innovation step initiated by the branch of the education office. This research is especially important when associated with the following two facts. First, based on the results of previous research studies that there is no research that describes the public service model of the education office branch which is an innovation from the educational institution. Second, there are many blurry portraits of public services carried out by government agencies. Researchers in this study to achieve research objectives used qualitative methods with a research locus at the branch of the East Java education office in the Gresik region. The aims of this study are: (1) to describe kinship patterns to build employee synergy; (2) Describe the application of JIMAT behavior in supporting the work ethic; and (3) Describe IM3 in improving the quality of education services. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation and documentation. The researcher determined key information sources (Key Informants), namely the Head of the Education Office Branch, the head of the SMK/SMA section, the Head of TU, Staff, as well as supporting information sources (supportive informants) principals, supervisors, teachers and school administrative staff. Data analysis consists of three streams of activities that occur simultaneously, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data validation technique uses source triangulation, method triangulation, key informant review, and data base preparation. The results of the study concluded that: First, the application of a good kinship pattern will build synergy between employees who are sincere, full of integrity, and service will be effective and efficient. Second, by practicing JIMAT, organizational goals in public service will be realized with excellent quality. Third, IM3's good behavior patterns can improve the quality of public services, namely excellent education services.

Abstract

In the school environment there is a canteen which is one of the providers of children's snacks. It is felt that the SDN Airlangga I canteen is very inadequate, this is based on the location being uncomfortable and the food menu being incomplete. Many students complain about these limitations. However, in practice, not all sellers maintain the level of cleanliness of their snacks. As well as the lack of literacy in children regarding what they already understand. This is the background for the author to carry out a school program by holding a literacy canteen to improve literacy culture at SDN Airlangga I/198 Surabaya. To improve literacy culture at SDN Airlangga I/198 Surabaya, namely by providing a literacy canteen. The canteen building was converted into a building with good air ventilation levels. And there is more spacious space, there is a library next to the canteen, comfortable seating and tables are provided. Apart from that, the equipment used in the canteen also uses clean and hygienic tools. Food serving places have also been increased and provide several types of food, which is also one of the attractions for children to buy at the literacy canteen. Apart from the building, a literacy canteen is also established in the school environment for all school residents. There were several obstacles faced in implementing the program. Some school residents do not comply with the regulations to improve literacy culture and there are still students who put their plates carelessly. However, this problem was solved by increasing the diversity of food and drinks sold in the canteen, making the literacy canteen more comfortable and writing to keep each other clean in the canteen environment. And for all residents at school, there is a culture of shame about breaking the literacy culture regulations that are being implemented at school.
