Abstract

This study employs a descriptive quantitative approach. A cross sectional design was adopted for the investigation. There are 35 samples that fit the requirements. The findings of this study indicate that 1) bivariate analysis using the chii square test yielded a p-value of 0.000 p0.05, indicating that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, implying that there is a relationship between breastfeeding on demand and the incidence of breast milk dam at UPT Ajangale Health Center. 2) bivariate analysis using the chii square test yielded a p-value of 0.001 and a p-value greater than 0.05. This suggests that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, implying that there is a correlation between breast care and the occurrence of breast milk dams at UPT Puskesmas Ajangale. 3) using bivariate analysis, the chi square test results were produced; the chi square test resulted in a p-value of 0.002 p>0.05. This indicates that there is a correlation between nursing postures and breast milk dams at UPT Puskesmas Ajangale.

Abstract

In the first hour following delivery, the infant should be breastfed immediately, which is known as Early Initiation of Breastfeeding (IMD). Breastfeeding within the first hour of life may help to minimize infant deaths from pneumonia, diarrhea, and hypothermia, among other causes. At the Watampone Health Center, the goal of this research was to discover if there was a link between maternal knowledge and family support and the implementation of early beginning of breastfeeding for postpartum moms. Research methods employed in this study include quantitative research using a cross-sectional design and a questionnaire. The sampling strategy used was purposive sampling, and a total of 45 postpartum moms were included in the study. The investigation was carried out at the Watampone Health Center. Using a paired t test, the researchers discovered that there was no relationship between maternal knowledge and the implementation of early initiation of breastfeeding in postpartum mothers (P value = 0.527), but that there was a relationship between family support and the implementation of early initiation of breastfeeding in postpartum mothers (P =0.047). The let-down reaction is controlled by the emotional state or sentiments of the mother, and the smoothness of the let-down reflex is determined by the smoothness of the family. Improve services by giving counseling, particularly to parents and spouses, in order to provide guidance, as well as inspiration to women about the necessity of starting breastfeeding as soon as possible.

Abstract

The high prevalence of HAIs (Healthcare-associated Infections) is a threat to hospital services. Implementation of infection prevention and control is the biggest challenge in the arrangement of health services, especially in hospitals. HICPAC is one of the CDC guidelines that is quite recommended in reducing the incidence of infections in hospitals. This study aims to assess the effect of implementing HICPAC with a reduction in hospital costs in patients using a urine catheter at Delia Hospital in Langkat District in 2019. The type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental approach conducted at Delia General Hospital in Langkat District with a population of 30 patients and analyzed using Paired T Test analysis. The analysis found that there were differences in treatment costs based on secondary diagnoses before and after the HICPAC guidelines were applied. This shows that the HICPAC guidelines can significantly reduce the cost of care for patients who use urine catheters at Delia Hospital in Langkat District. So it is recommended that the HICPAC guidelines can be used integrated with the medical record so that it is easily implemented by all medical personnel in the hospital.

Abstract

Based on data from BPJS Health in 2019, it reached a membership number of 221,580,743 people. However, in reality, many patients who are about to provide health services at Hekath Centre are found to have an inactive membership card. The study aimed to determine the effect of vulnerability, seriousness, barriers, perceived benefits, influence to act and dominant factors on BPJS Inactive Membership. The study was an analytical survey with a cross-sectional approach.. The population were 50 people and the sampling technique used an accidental technique with a purposive approach. Data analysis used univariate, bivariate and multivariate. The results showed that the multivariate p(sig) susceptibility value was .532 (OR=2.515 CI 0.140-45.253), confidence was .032 (OR=16,712 CI 1.275-219.028), benefits were .015 (OR=28,388 CI 1.942-415.210), barriers of .015 (OR=23,558 CI 1.863-297.969), the effect of acting was 0.353 (OR=4.119 CI .208-81.681). In conclusion, the variables that simultaneously influence the inactive BPJS membership were beliefs, benefits and obstacles, while the most dominant factor for the inactive BPJS membership is the perceived benefits. BPJS Health must increase the quantity of socialization. This can be seen from the lack of continuous socialization to the community of BPJS members by installing banners containing the slogan of the JKN Program so that it must be reproduced and installed in every health facility.
