Abstract

Egress time in stadiums and sports buildings is one of the important things to consider in providing safety and tranquility for the audience in the building. The purpose of accessibility systems and adequate evacuation circulation planning in sports buildings is to provide evacuation routes that are easily accessible to spectators and minimize crowds and accumulation of people at the exit. This study aims to determine the most effective evacuation time at the Brawijaya Stadium and GOR Jayabaya in Kediri and the difference in the evacuation of spectators in a fire situation in open and closed buildings. This research uses simulation experimental research methods using Pathfinder and Pyrosim applications to find the most effective evacuation time in each building. The final results show that the addition of a radial gangway, the addition of exit doors, and the improvement of circulation flow effectively reduce the length of evacuation time in both buildings. At the Brawijaya Stadium, the evacuation time was 6 minutes and 59 seconds. GOR Jayabaya requires an evacuation time of 6 minutes and 56 seconds. In addition, there are differences in the distribution of smoke and fire in open and closed buildings. Keywords: Egress Time; Evacuation Time; Evacuation Circulation.

Abstract

The road is a facility for land transportation that serves regional development. The deterioration of road quality can pose constraints on economic and social activities and endanger road users. Small damages can escalate if not promptly addressed, leading to losses. This reasearch aims to determine the type and level of damage on Jelidro II – Kuwukan - Sambikerep Roads STA 0+000 to STA 1+600. There are two methods for obtaining road condition values in this research, the methods are Pavement Condition Index method and the Bina Marga method. On the section of Jelidro II – Kuwukan - Sambikerep Roads, 8 types of damage were found, those are crocodile skin cracks, grade depression, edge cracks, potholes, patches, longitudinal cracks, slip cracks, and ravelling. The results of calculating the road condition value using the PCI method is 63,6 where the road is included in the good category. Calculations using the Bina Marga method get a priority order of 9. The two methods show that the road has the same type of treatment, that is a routine maintenance program with repair methods that can be carried out, namely surface layers such as asphalt resurfacing and patching holes. Abstract

In every urban area, especially in the Malang area, modes of transportation are increasingly diverse, ranging from private vehicles, public transportation, to online-based transportation. This research aims to determine the choice of transportation mode using the multinominal logistics method. With this type of quantitative research and data sources through surveys conducted in 5 sub-districts of Malang City using the multinominal logistics method. The research results showed that 11% of respondents went from home to another place for work using private transportation, 3% of respondents were still students. 88% of working respondents and housewives chose public transportation, 97% of whom were still students. 9% of respondents who work and are housewives use online vehicles while 0% are still students. Abstract

BIM is an integrated system where processes are conducted seamlessly, influencing information exchange not only among software but also among stakeholders. BIM is identified as a method that can be employed to enhance the efficacy and efficiency of construction projects, along with the quality of construction projects. The research aims to evaluate the effectiveness, challenges, and overall performance of BIM in the construction industry in Indonesia, providing insights into the extent to which BIM is utilized and its impact on construction projects in Indonesia. The research uses a literature review method to identify the BIM implementation process and its correlation with BIM maturity. The research results demonstrate the continued high demand for BIM resources among Indonesian construction projects. The use of BIM has been utilized in the construction, design, and planning phases of projects. The maturity of BIM utilization is predominantly associated with collaboration, team building, communication, and clash detection. BIM adoption is still quite low in Indonesia, particularly concerning legality, the availability of BIM requirements, supply chain participation, stakeholder involvement, and standard setting. Abstract

Baumata watershed is located in Kupang district. The land use conditions are mostly forests, paddy fields, with low root depth and play a major role in the process of causing soil damage, accelerating the rate of erosion and increasing the volume of surface runoff. This research examines the current level of erosion hazard in the existing land use of the Baumata Watershed and its area by considering the Regional Spatial Planning (RTRW) of Kupang Regency and its surroundings in the Baumata Watershed. The method used to calculate the rate of erosion is the MUSLE method where the method uses an approach from the surface runoff factor. The data processing uses a Geographic Information System (GIS). The erosion rate watershed is 3,402,685 tons/ha/year with a watershed area of 2,439.35 ha. Land rehabilitation and soil conservation (ARLKT) directions that are appropriate for the conditions of the Baumata watershed are 87 annual crop cultivation areas. 21 % (2,127.42 ha), Seasonal Plant Cultivation Areas 10.67 % (260.38 ha), and Buffer Areas 2.11 % (51.55 ha). The existence of data and information on the magnitude of erosion rates and land criticality in the Baumata watershed in Kupang district can be used to anticipate early landslide disasters in the area. Abstract

The commercial area on Manukan Lor street is one of the places in the city of Surabaya that currently has quite heavy traffic. The problem in this area is that there is no special pedestrian/pedestrian route available so it can endanger pedestrians, apart from that it can also disrupt the activity of traffic vehicles. The aim of this thesis refers to the formulation of the problem and the existing background, including: Determining the characteristics of pedestrians in the Manukan Lor Street area of Surabaya, determining the width requirements for pedestrian/pedestrian lanes in the Manukan Lor Street area, and to determine the performance results in Manukan Lor road section after and before the sidewalk. Guidelines used in planning pedestrian paths in the area "Sidewalk Planning Guidebook Number.007/T/BNKT/1990 Directorate General of Highways", "Guidebook for Building Construction Materials and Civil Engineering Ministry of PUPR Number.02/SE/M/2018 regarding technical planning of pedestrian facilities", and "Indonesian Road Capacity Guidebook 2023 (PKJI 2023)". The results of the analysis of the required width of the pedestrian path on the Manukan Lor road are 1.5 m wide with the level of service obtained is category A, and includes low-level side obstacles, with an average increase in the degree of saturation (Dj) of 0.026 but still in service level category C with a stable flow the speed can be controlled by traffic.  Keywords: Pedestrian Width; Characteristics; Road Performance.

Abstract

Simulation results using the EPANET 2.0 program indicate that in the year 2023, the large average demand flow is 30.47 liter/sec, and in the year 2038, it increases to 49.44 liter/sec, while the existing flow is only 25 liter/sec. Therefore, Tuk Ngasinan requires an additional flow. The existing hydraulic conditions in the Tuk Ngasinan network system still have many areas that do not meet the criteria. Some criteria analyzed include residual pressure, velocity, and unit head loss. During peak hours, there are still several service blocks with residual pressure below the criteria. Meanwhile, during minimal usage hours, many service blocks have pressures above the criteria. The water flow velocity in the pipes also falls below the minimum criteria for many pipes. Additionally, there are still many pipes with unit head loss above the criteria, causing significant energy loss in pipe flow.
