Abstract

This research aims to analyse the level of equality based on Mona Baker's theory translated by J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" from English to Indonesian using Google Translate. Specific goals include identifying and discussing translation issues at various linguistic levels and providing post-editing suggestions for machine-translated output. The methodology section outlines the qualitative research design, using observation and document methods for data collection. The data source is J.K. Rowling's novel, translated by Google Translate into Indonesian. The process includes observing, identifying, classifying, and evaluating the level of equivalence in the translated text. In conclusion, this introduction provides the basis for an in-depth analysis of the degree of translation equivalence in the context of machine translation, especially in the translation of literary works such as "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix". the analysis of translation problems in the Harry Potter novel reveals common challenges across different parts of sentences, categorized into word level, above word level, textual level, grammatical level, and pragmatic level. While machine translators assist in translating text, especially with large volumes, they still require human monitoring for post-editing to rectify inaccuracies. Consistency in translation practice is emphasized to improve student abilities and ensure progress. Teachers are urged to apply consistent practices, progressing from simple to complex texts and allowing students freedom in choosing translation materials once professional.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of halal tourism quality on economic growth in countries with the largest Muslim population in the world. This study also examines the role of the level of tourism acceptance as a mediator variable in mediating the effect of halal tourism quality on economic growth. In this study, the quality of halal tourism with the global Muslim travel index (GMTI) was published by Crescenrating. Using 26 countries that are members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in the period 2016 to 2022, this study found that halal tourism quality has a positive effect on tourism revenue. In addition, halal quality also has a direct positive effect on economic growth. On the other hand, this study did not find a significant role of tourism revenue in mediating the indirect effect of halal tourism quality on economic growth. This study implies the importance of improving the quality of halal tourism in driving economic growth in Muslim-majority countries, especially to compete in attracting more Muslim tourists.

Abstract

Marine tourism research is not the same as the results of research on marine tourism that have been widely researched by other researchers, it is a novelty with previous works. This study aims to identify current marine tourism trends such as sources, authors, and types of documents. Bibliometric analysis was used to analyze 60 articles from Google Scholar published in 2023. Marine Tourism is the main keyword used in article titles, and abstracts to get metadata taken from the Google Scholar bibliographic database. The tools used in analyzing bibliometrics are Microsoft Excel used to analyze frequency, Vos-Viewer for data visualization and Harzing's Publish or Perish used for citation metrics. This study's results show that most related articles are published in scientific journals compared to others. Related articles published in scientific journals have obtained the highest citations compared to others. Articles are also found in English. Based on network visualization the most dominant term (often appears) is "Marine Tourism" which is closely related to Tourism and study. When viewed from the Overlay Visualization the topic 'Marine Tourism' shows the latest trends in research.

Abstract

Sustainable tourism refers to the type of tourism in which the environmental, social, and economic impacts of tourism are taken into account, and where relevant adjustments are made to minimize these negative consequences. In sustainable tourism, we consider the needs of travelers, but also the needs of host communities, local businesses, and nature. Sustainable tourism is a concept that aims to minimize the negative impact of tourism on the environment, society, and economy. This involves responsible use of resources, preservation of local culture and traditions, and increased economic benefits for local communities. Sustainable tourism seeks to balance the needs of tourists with the needs of destinations, ensuring that future generations can enjoy the same attractions and experiences. It focuses on long-term sustainability, promoting environmentally friendly, socially inclusive, and economically viable practices. By implementing sustainable tourism practices, we can contribute to preserving our planet while still enjoying the beauty and diversity it has to offer. Based on network visualization the most dominant terms (often appearing) are "communities based tourism" and "sustainable tourism". When viewed from the Overlay Visualization, the topic of "communities-based tourism" shows the latest trends in research related to "rural communities"
