Teenagers are very vulnerable to the influence of their environment. A socio-cultural environment that is not positive is a risk factor for adolescents in unhealthy behavior. Snack habits are part of behavior in the form of action. The habit of consuming snacks for students in Gorontalo reaches 78.4%. The research objective was to see the effect of peer education on knowledge, attitudes and actions of snack consumption among adolescents. This research was a quasi-experiment with a pre-test post-test control group design. The research was conducted on 19 adolescents at SMP Negeri 1 Limboto Barat and 19 adolescents at SMP Negeri 1 Boliyohuto. Duration of intervention twice a week for two weeks. Data analysis used paired t-test and independent t-test. The results showed that there were no differences in the characteristics of gender (p = 0.330), class (p = 0.744), age (p = 0.148) and pocket money (p = 0.461). There is an effect of peer education on knowledge (p = 0.001) and attitude (p = 0001). Based on the difference between the peer education group and the leaflet, there was a difference in the score selection for knowledge (p = 0.001) and attitude (p = 0.001), but there was no difference in the score selection for the measures (p = 0.805). The conclusion of this study is that the peer education method has an effect on increasing knowledge and attitudes regarding snack consumption. Peer education suggestions can be used as an approach by schools for students to reduce the number of snack consumption habits in adolescents.

Vignettes have been applied in many academic disciplines over time, as an essential element of experiential learning. At the Department of Educational Communication and Technology, adoption of vignettes instructional method by instructors remains slow, while application by early adopters remains inconsistent. Despite this, little is known about how utilisation of vignettes to teach business ethics at the Department influences teacher trainees’ ethical sensitivity in decision-making. The cross-sectional survey design guided the research process, and primary data were sourced in 2018 from 116 learners. Both quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques were applied. Key results show that trainees who strongly agreed that utilisation of vignettes influenced their ethical sensitivity in decision-making had about 2 times the odds of being ethically sensitive in their decisions as their colleagues who expressed strong disagreement about the same. Besides, those who agreed that utilisation of vignettes influenced their ethical sensitivity in decision-making were about 1.9 times as likely to make ethically sensitive decisions as those who indicated strong disagreement. On aggregate, utilisation of vignettes caused a positive and significant influence on trainees’ ethical sensitivity in decision-making. It also emerged third in the order of relative importance. Notably, the more the trainees appreciated that utilisation of vignettes influenced their ethical sensitivity in decision-making, the higher odds of making ethically sensitive decisions. Thus, improving trainees’ knowledge on the various parameters of vignettes’ utilisation is likely to enhance their ethical sensitivity in decision-making. This may be achieved by dedicating a section of training modules on optimisation of vignette utilisation.

Almost every organization makes use of a Facebook group. They utilized it to debate themes and other problems concerning their own survival. Numerous mathematics instructors have already embraced its usefulness as a method of providing instructional materials to their pupils in the modern day. With these factors in mind, this research study on the use of Facebook groups in the teaching-learning process of mathematics was performed with the pioneer batch of ABM students at the University of San Carlos – Senior High School in Cebu City, Philippines. Through this amazing and updated communication medium, the kids learnt a new lesson. The statistical study revealed that the use of Facebook groups in the teaching-learning process of mathematics is beneficial. This is shown by the statistical equality of the experimental and control groups' post-test results. This demonstrates that the performance of students in the experimental and control groups is comparable. This is because the experimental groups did not participate in classroom discussions yet fared as well as the controls groups who did. Additional pertinent results from the research are provided in this article.

This study aims at investigating the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning in enhancing students’ achievement. The design of this research is that of a quasi-experimental kind. The information was collected from two different courses that were both at the same grade level and covering the same subject. The data that was compared came from a variety of historical periods. The control group was recruited before to the outbreak, while the second group was recruited via an online learning session after the pandemic had begun. A pre-test is administered to see if any of the students have previous knowledge of the subject matter that will be taught. Pre-testing may also be thought of as an activity that is used to assess the level of knowledge of the students prior to the delivery of the learning activities itself. The results of the study suggest a slight difference when students are taught using PBL with online and offline learning. There is a conspicuous challenge in online learning due to teacher’s and students’ customization to online learning.

The purpose of this research is to illustrate students' errors using Newman's methods for working on problems in mathematical set materials as a basis for description. For the purpose of gathering data, researchers make observations both before the start of a study and throughout the course of the study, that is, when students are working on the exams that are provided. Unstructured observation is the kind of observation that will be utilized by researchers in their investigations. The exam is also used to evaluate students' errors in completing math narrative problems using provided material, which is based on Newman's Error Analysis. During the interviews, students are interviewed one at a time in order to make it simpler for researchers to explain the errors they made while attempting to solve the provided issue. The result of the study shows that High Ability Category experience reading and comprehension errors. They also experience a transformation error in the problem-solving stage of the problem. The problem of process skill is to determine the slice of the set. The answer obtained is not correct and does not match the answer on the question, so the subject makes a mistake at the skill stage of the process

In the light of the New Normal, the students' attention has moved to computer technology. Thus, this research study investigated the VSU-Isabel students' computer self-efficacy and computer value during the New Normal. The study employed quantitative-descriptive research utilizing the mean and standard deviation of the students' responses in the survey items. It also employed a correlational approach in establishing the relationship between students' computer self-efficacy and computer value. A convenience sampling technique was used to arrive at a sample of 687 student-respondents from 1st year to 5th year. The research study revealed that the students are undecided if they can use computers compared to the other students. Also, it was found out that students agreed about the value of computers. Additionally, the study revealed that there is a significant and low positive correlation, r (685) = .387, p = .01, between the students' computer self-efficacy belief and computer value belief during the New Normal. These findings recommend the expanded use of technology during the new normal such as using different available digital platforms to develop the computer self-efficacy of the students.
