Abstract

To support the successful propagation of cocoa plagiotrope cuttings, nutrients (N and P) and hormone (IAA) are applied to increase plant growth. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of the provision of nutrients (N and P) and hormone (IAA) on the growth of cocoa plagiotrope cuttings. The experiment was carried out factorial with the basic pattern of Completely Randomized Design (CRD) and was repetitively replications by three times. The first factor was the dose of urea (N) and SP-36 (P) which consisted of 3 levels, such as P0 (0 g/polybag urea and 0 g/polybag SP-36), P1 (3,5 g/polybag urea and 2,5 g/polybag SP-36), and P2 (7 g/polybag urea and 5 g/polybag SP-36). The second factor was the concentration of IAA which consisted of 5 levels, such as I0 (0 ppm), I1 (50 ppm), I2 (100 ppm), I3 (150 ppm), and I4 (200 ppm). The results showed (1) the interaction between the application of the nutrients (N and P) and hormone (IAA) had no significant effect on all observed variables except the number of leaves, where the best treatment combination was the application of fertilizer doses of 0 g/polybag urea + 0 g/polybag SP-36 and IAA concentration of 100 ppm (P0I2) (2) application of the nutrients (N and P) with dose of P1 increased seedling growth on all observed variables except the number of leaves, shoot diameter, and shoot length (3) application of IAA with concentration of I1 increased seedlings growth, that is the number of primary roots/cuttings and shoot length.

Abstract

The diet exerts a substantial influence on chronic illnesses and overall well-being. Addressing food-related behaviors will enable individuals to manage these conditions effectively. Enhancing health by making changes to one's diet through modification and fortification, introducing novel food options, and including essential nutrients. Enriched and utilitarian food products, supplements, and health-promoting substances Fortified meals and functional foods are designed to augment the nutritional requirements of individuals. Some meals, like morning cereals, are regularly enriched with vitamins and minerals, and there is a growing variety of foods that are enhanced with specific functions and claimed to provide health benefits. Nutraceuticals, also known as nutriceuticals, are naturally occurring bioactive chemicals that possess qualities that promote health or prevent diseases. The study investigated the correlation between nutrition and its influence on human well-being. It provided evidence that diet plays a significant role as an environmental component in the development of many chronic illnesses. Quantifying the precise magnitude of this impact is challenging, however, there has been a notable 35% decrease in the occurrence of Cancer among different age groups in the United States. The states have been proposed to be attainable using "feasible dietary methods". The potential to produce significant societal and economic benefits via the identification and utilization of health-promoting elements in foods is evident. Spectrum Population Capable The extent to which one can profit from this study will hinge upon how The data is utilized by scientists, the food business, and policy officials.

Abstract

The aim of this service is 1) increasing partners' knowledge about online sales and marketing strategies, 2) increasing partners' skills to produce quality and sustainable products. The partner in the service is the Laskar Pelangi agricultural group in Pattondon Salu. The method used in solving milking problems to achieve the goal is conducting in-depth interviews with partners and providing workshops and direct assistance as an effort to increase the income of Laskar Pelangi group members. From the results of this study, it was found that the fundamental key to achieving previously set goals is management. This management includes monitoring product quality, production scheduling, order management, as well as pricing and promotion strategies

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a form of corporate social responsibility towards the community and environment around the company. The biogas assistance program is one of PJT II's CSR programs in order to accelerate the handling of damage to the Citarum river watershed (DAS) and for the purpose of empowering the community, especially dairy farmers who come from members of the KPBS Pangalengan dairy farmer group. The aim of this research is to determine the mechanism for implementing the biogas assistance program as part of CSR activities and to analyze the benefits of implementing the biogas assistance program in developing the sustainability of dairy farming businesses. This research was conducted in November – December 2023. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach using the case study method. Primary data was obtained through in-depth interviews with informants selected purposively from twenty-one people consisting of the company, participants receiving assistance and implementing parties. The results of the research show that the implementation of the biogas assistance program has been implemented through a process planning, organizing, actuating, controlling (POAC) in the program mechanism, apart from that, the analysis of the program's objectives is to reduce pollution and damage to the Citarum watershed as a result of breeder activities and provide opportunities to increase income independently and sustainably and is an effort to increase breeder awareness to better protect the surrounding environment so that it can speed up the handling of damage to river watersheds that is currently occurring.

Abstract

This research is research that uses a qualitative research paradigm using descriptive qualitative methods, where data collection is carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The purpose of this study is to know the steps taken in setting goals, planning, implementing and evaluating moral development on the environment carried out at the Ciliwung River School Srengseng Rice Fields, Jakarta. This research method is with in-depth interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis techniques with correlation techniques and data validity techniques with source and method triangulation techniques. The results of this study concluded that the form of implementing moral education values towards the environment to students is carried out through learning and non-learning has been running very well. The role of school coaches and teachers as mentors for activities in implementing the values of moral education in the environment for students of Ciliwung River School Srengseng Sawah Jakarta and the surrounding community have been going well. The implementation process is through the four roles of school coaches, scholars, and teachers as activity mentors as educators, motivators, and facilitators, and evaluators in the learning process and daily activities in the classroom and outside the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the best diluent in protecting the integrity of the spermatozoa membrane after storage using an alternative diluent formulation of red fruit extract (Pandanus Conoideus Lamk) and coconut water. An alternative diluent formulation featuring red fruit extract (Pandanus Conoideus Lamk) and coconut water was utilized. Fresh semen from Bali Bull was evaluated in the Integrated Field Laboratory, Department of Animal Science of Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. Bali bull sperm of high quality was diluted using a combination diluent containing red fruit extract (Pandanus Conoideus Lamk), green coconut water, and CEP-2 mixed with 10% egg yolk. Technical term abbreviations were explained at their initial use. Spermatozoa membrane integrity was assessed using the hypoosmotic swelling test (HOST), while chlortetracycline (CTC) fluorescent dye was used to evaluate spermatozoa capacitation and acrosome reaction. The randomized group design (RAK) was used in the research, consisting of four conditions and 10 replications. P0 served as the control group, which received CEP-2 plus 10% egg yolk. P1 was administered EBM diluent AK enriched with 15% KT, while P2 received EBM diluent AK plus 15% KT and fructose 1 mg/ml. P3 was given EBM diluent AK plus 15% KT and fructose 2 mg/ml. Analysis of variance was used to examine the resulting data. The findings indicated that CEP-2 plus 10% egg yolk diluent was more effective than the diluent formulations containing red fruit extract and coconut water. Spermatozoa with intact membranes and no capacitation remain high, while those with capacitation and acrosome reaction remain low.
