Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of interest rates, inflation, foreign exchange rates and profitability on earnings quality and its impact on firm value. The design of this study used causal research with a population of banking subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018-2022. The sample in this study was 41 companies determined using the purposive sampling method. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis using E- views version 12. The results of this study show that interest rates, foreign exchange rates, and profitability have a significant negative effect on earnings quality, but inflation has no effect on earnings quality. Interest rates, inflation, foreign exchange rates, earnings quality have no effect on firm value, but profitability has a significant negative effect on firm value, interest rates, inflation, foreign exchange rates, and profitability have no effect on firm value through earnings quality.

Abstract

Road segments ranging from local roads to national roads are the most urgent arteries in the mobilization of goods and people and determine the progress of economic development. Therefore the road must be constructed in accordance with the standards set out in the laws and regulations, including here the national road that has high economic value that connects the two regions of the two provinces namely Tapan Pesisir Selatan in the West Sumatra province and the Sungai Penuh Kerinci in Jambi province the two regions is closely related in economic and trade relations and the distance is only close to 64 km, but the terrain conditions have the potential to cause traffic accidents because natural factors penetrate row hills that have high geographical and national road standardization factors that do not have the attributes of road safety equipment complete. In this regard, it is necessary to examine how much the level of potential hazards caused by roads through disaster risk analysis in the transportation sector using the disaster risk analysis model. The results of the analysis using the disaster risk analysis model of the Tapan Sumbar - Sungai Penuh Kerinci Jambi road have a high hazard vulnerability level of 8.05 or above 5 means that this road needs to be improved both its construction and road safety equipment.

Abstract

The Banda and Arafura Sea possesses significant potential for the fisheries and fishing industry in the country. The large pelagic fish production data studied were derived from satellite imagery data in the Banda and Arafura Seas (2002-2022). The data of chlorophyll-a content, sea surface temperature and Photosynthetically Available Radiation (PAR) derived from AQUA MODIS satellite images were used to estimate the value of primary productivity with the Vertically Generalised Production Model (VGPM). The results showed that the biomass of large pelagic fish fluctuated seasonally, with the Banda Sea and Arafura Sea having high average fish biomass values in the eastern season. With the highest fish biomass peak in August and the lowest in December. The high value of fish biomass in the Banda Sea and Arafura Sea is caused by upwelling events where sea surface temperatures are low but chlorophyll is high. in the Arafura Sea the value of fish biomass is higher than the Banda Sea, this is due to the large amount of nutrient input from large rivers in the area.
