Abstract

The Government of Purwakarta Regency seeks to improve access to safe drinking water; however, by 2024, coverage has only reached 64%, still below the 81% target. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of community-based Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) management funded through the Special Allocation Fund (DAK) in three villages: Cipicung, Pasirangin, and Pusakamulya. The evaluation refers to five aspects based on Minister of Public Works and Housing Regulation No. 27 of 2016, namely technical, institutional, financial, social, and environmental aspects. The research method combined analysis of existing conditions and stakeholder perceptions. Primary data were collected through surveys and structured interviews with 129 respondents, while secondary data were obtained from relevant regulations. Data analysis employed the Relative Importance Index (RII) and Confidence Interval (CI). The results indicate that water quality is the most influential factor in determining the effectiveness of SPAM management. Cipicung and Pasirangin villages have successfully implemented all aspects, as reflected in good water quality, strong institutional arrangements, and high community participation. Meanwhile, Pusakamulya village faces challenges in the environmental aspect, particularly in water source protection, which affects water availability. The management model applied in Cipicung and Pasirangin can serve as a reference for other areas, with recommendations focusing on infrastructure improvement and strengthening water source protection

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of attitudes, subjective norms, and behavioral control on the interest of the younger generation in opening a hajj savings account at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) approach. The study used a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires online to 200 respondents, and as many as 188 data that were suitable for processing. The analysis was carried out using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that the variables of attitude and behavior control had a significant positive effect on the interest in opening hajj savings, while subjective norms did not have a significant effect. The research model has an R² value of 0.700 which means that 70% of the variability of interest is explained by the three independent variables. These findings provide implications for Islamic banking to strengthen marketing strategies based on value perception and ease of access for the younger generation.

Abstract

The Tasikmalaya Regency Government developed a Community-Based Water Supply System (SPAM) to accelerate the achievement of the sixth Sustainable Development Goal (SDG). However, the infrastructure faces challenges in terms of sustainability, particularly in relation to operational failures, maintenance, and a lack of community ownership. Referring to Norms, Standards, Procedures, and Criteria (NSPK), this study aims to analyze the sustainability of SPAM management comprehensively through a multidimensional approach that covers technical, institutional, financial, social, and environmental aspects to formulate appropriate intervention priorities. The research method combines an analysis of existing conditions and stakeholder perceptions in five SPAM location units. Secondary data refers to NSPK provisions, while primary data was obtained through field observations and structured interviews with 90 community respondents and 27 relevant stakeholders. Data analysis techniques used the Relative Importance Index (RII) and Confidence Interval (CI) for key factors, the Index Formula for sustainability levels, and the Development Priority Index (IPP) to compile development factor priorities. The results of the study show that the status of SPAM management is in the sustainable category with an average index of 72.89%. The most crucial factor identified is the existence of community fees. The recommended development priorities include strengthening regulations as an operational foundation, balancing the financial aspects between the affordability of fees and maintenance costs, and optimizing the technical performance of pumps. These findings emphasize the need for an integrative strategy to ensure reliable and long-term clean water services for the community.

Abstract

Measles is an infectious disease that remains a public health problem, despite the availability of an effective and safe vaccine. Successful measles control depends heavily on the optimal and sustainable implementation of immunization programs. However, measles and measles-rubella (MR) immunization coverage in various regions still faces various challenges, both from an individual and family perspective, as well as from the health care system. This study aims to examine the role of immunization programs in measles control through a public health literature review approach. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with the PRISMA approach, secondary data were obtained from primary research articles published between 2021 and 2026 from Google Scholar, PubMed, and ScienceDirect. Of the screened articles, 15 journals met the inclusion criteria. Research findings indicate that the success of immunization programs in controlling measles is influenced by the active role of health cadres, the support and participation of mothers and families, the involvement of health workers, and the quality of management and access to immunization services. Furthermore, several studies have highlighted challenges in immunization implementation, such as limited infrastructure and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, which have contributed to declining immunization coverage. The conclusion of this study indicates that measles control requires a comprehensive and integrated approach through strengthening the role of cadres, increasing community literacy, and optimizing the immunization service system. These efforts are expected to increase measles and MR immunization coverage and prevent measles outbreaks in the community

Abstract

This research is to analyze the efficiency of the heat exchanger with the addition of fins in each tube. In order to see the efficiency of heat exchangers, this research was carried out through heat exchanger machine tests along with the collection of calculation data in the form of equations. This heat exchanger is in the form of shell and tube, which in the shell has eight passes, each pass has eight tubes and each tube has an additional number of fins, two, four and six. The flow of fluids used in heat exchanger research is through cross flow, where the flow of cold fluid will be channeled through a tube inside the shell that is blown by the blower where the speed is regulated to get a different mass rate, there will also be a heat transfer of cold fluid from the hot fluid distributed in the shell. Through the LPG combustion stage, hot fluid is produced for hot fluid. The cold fluid passing through the tube will receive heat from the hot fluid to the rotary dryer. After data calculation, heat exchangers were obtained with 2 fins per tube for an efficiency output of 57.9%, heat exchangers with 4 fins per tube with an output of 58.5%, heat exchangers with 6 fins per tube with an output of 61.4%.

Abstract

Emotional intelligence plays a crucial role in how students manage academic pressure, build social relationships, and stay motivated during the learning process. However, many students still struggle with emotional regulation, which can negatively impact their academic achievement. The purpose of this study is to investigate experimentally how much emotional intelligence factors affect students' learning outcomes at Padang City's Khaira Ummah Islamic Junior High School. An associative design and quantitative methodology were employed. A structured questionnaire instrument was used to gather data from 92 respondents in order to quantify emotional intelligence profiles and document student academic grades. After confirming that the data satisfied the traditional assumptions (normality and linearity), a straightforward linear regression test was used to analyze the data. The results of the study show that emotional intelligence significantly improves student learning outcomes (Sig. 0.017 < 0.05). According to the coefficient of determination, emotional intelligence accounts for 24.8% of the diversity in learning outcomes, with other internal and external factors accounting for the remaining portion. The study's conclusions highlight how crucial it is to incorporate emotional learning into the educational process in order to enhance academic achievement in a comprehensive way

Abstract

Pregnancy is a period that is prone to anxiety due to physical, hormonal, and psychological changes experienced by pregnant women, which can have an impact on the health of the mother and fetal development if not handled properly. One of the factors that plays a role in reducing anxiety levels is family support, both in emotional, informational, and instrumental forms. This study aims to determine the effect of family support on the anxiety levels of pregnant women at Duren Sawit Hospital. The research method used is a quantitative approach, with the measurement of family support using the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) instrument, which has been tested for validity and reliability in various contexts, including among pregnant women in Indonesia, with a Cronbach’s alpha value of > 0.85. The results showed that most respondents were in the optimal reproductive age group, predominantly primipara, and mostly in the first and second trimesters of pregnancy. Most respondents also had high family support. Statistical analysis showed that there was a tendency for higher family support to be associated with lower anxiety levels. However, the relationship between gestational age (trimester) and anxiety level was not statistically significant (p > 0.05), indicating that trimester was not significantly associated with anxiety. Thus, family support plays an important role in reducing anxiety among pregnant women, although it is not the only factor influencing anxiety levels.

Abstract

Ahmadiyya, a transnational movement founded by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad in late 19th-century India, entered Indonesia during the national movement era and, despite gaining limited sympathy, faced strong rejection from mainstream Islamic organizations for its controversial teachings, especially his prophetic claims. This research aims to examine the religious dialectics between the Ahmadiyya Qadian and the Islamic Union (PERSIS) in 1925–1939, with a focus on attitudes and responses This research uses historical methods combined with the social approach and analysis of the theory of charismatic authority from Max Weber to understand the appeal of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad's leadership and the forms of delegitimization carried out by his opponents. The results of the study show that the polemic between Ahmadiyya and PERSIS is not only a theological conflict, but also part of the discourse contestation to determine Islamic orthodoxy in Indonesia. Da'wah media such as magazines and books are important tools in shaping public opinion and spreading ideological arguments. This polemic of the debate reflects the process of constructing religious identity in the midst of colonialism, as well as the efforts of local Islamic organizations in building valid religious authority in the midst of Islamic renewal and transnational ideological challenges such as Ahmadiyah.
