Abstract

Efforts to build legal awareness of rural communities have long been made for the welfare of the community. Carrying out the achievement of community legal awareness towards a legally aware village/village will find challenges and opportunities. The challenges and opportunities of realizing a legally aware village in this are associated with the press perspective of Lawrence M Friedman's theory, namely the theory of the legal system, namely aspects of the substance, structure, and culture of the law. The method used in this study uses a qualitative method with a sociological approach (social, legal approach) through questionnaires, interviews, and discussions with relevant stakeholders. The results of this study explain that the facts show that the achievement of coaching in legal awareness and the process of realizing a legally aware village is still very low. This study revealed that there were challenges in realizing a law-conscious village, namely low legal awareness regarding early marriage and the lack of legally aware family groups (kadarkum) in rural communities. However, it does not rule out the possibility that behind the challenges faced, there are also opportunities obtained by the involvement of students in the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, which is organized by Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan, Riset dan Teknologi (Kemendikbudristek) as a companion for rural communities to helping to realize a law-conscious village. Researchers recommend further assessment actions as outlined in two policy texts.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is a driving force for global economic growth, with women increasingly recognized for their substantial contributions to innovation, job creation, and overall prosperity. This research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology, ensuring a thorough and unbiased exploration of existing knowledge. Providing crucial insights into women's entrepreneurship dynamics, the study underscores that robust managerial skills enhance the likelihood of women forming familial business partnerships. However, pervasive gender discrimination poses a significant hurdle, potentially steering women towards independent ventures. Early-stage female entrepreneurs heavily rely on familial and governmental support, particularly from husbands, alongside access to business knowledge, shaping their ventures profoundly. The dynamic landscape faced by women entrepreneurs is influenced by various factors that can either facilitate or impede success. This study emphasizes the key role of managerial skills while acknowledging gender discrimination as a formidable obstacle, underscoring the need for addressing these challenges in fostering inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems.

Abstract

he issue of air quality continues to be a major concern for both the environment and human health on a global scale, especially in developing nations. In 2015, Indonesia garnered international recognition as a result of the extensive forest and land fires. Exposure to PM particles in the air presents a substantial health hazard to individuals participating in their everyday routines. Research on the effects of forest fires on respiratory health in Central Kalimantan is still lacking. The Chest Miyagi multipurpose HI-801 spirometer, which was calibrated, was used to do lung function measurements. The participants were assessed while standing indoors in an environment with consistent air movement. Prior to the test, the individual's height and weight were measured and recorded in the spirometer, which then used this data to automatically determine the expected lung function. A sample size of 215 respondents who fulfilled the research criteria was selected for the study. The examinations took place in 7 urban and rural locations that were considered to be most susceptible to forest and land fires, based on the researcher's subjective judgment. These locations were chosen to meet the required sample size and were in close proximity to the fire sources. The spirometry device measures lung function, including forced vital capacity (FVC), forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1), the ratio of FEV1 to FVC, and Forced Expiratory Flow (FEF). This study aimed to assess the effect of recurrent forest fires on lung function, specifically in relation to gender, in Palangka Raya City, Pulang Pisau Regency, and Kapuas Regency, located in the Central Kalimantan Province. The analysis was conducted using spirometry tests. There were no notable disparities in lung function among the respondents based on their gender.

Corporations in Indonesia are legal subjects because they have rights and obligations. The capital market has high volatility so that insider trading is very detrimental to the implementation of the capital market which is one of the country's economic instruments. The issue of insider trading as an individual has been regulated in Law Number 8 of 1995, however the implementation of the imposition on corporate criminal sanctions has not yet been rigidly regulated or applied. This research aims to determine how criminal sanctions and insider trading regulations are carried out by corporations based on the Capital Markets Law. The method used is normative juridical. The results of this research found that insider trading regulations are located in articles 95 to 99 of the Capital Markets Law and investigation procedures are under BAPEPAM-LK. The crime of corporate insider trading can be punished because of Article 1 point 23 of the Capital Markets Law and the maximum fine is contained in Article 14, namely a fine of IDR 15,000,000,000.00.

Abstract

Echinococcus infection in the spinal cord can lead to various complications, including compression of the spinal cord. In some cases, Echinococcus infection can result in the formation of dumbbell structures within the spinal cord, extending into the paravertebral region. This type of infection is characterized by a high recurrence rate, ranging from 50% to 100%. This study used reliable and important scientific databases like PubMed, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, as well as official databases from health organizations. Furthermore, studies have shown that individuals with preexisting conditions like pressure ulcers are at an elevated risk of postoperative infections following spinal cord surgery. Echinococcus infection in the spinal cord can have serious consequences such as compression and the formation of complex structures. Understanding the risk factors associated with postoperative infections and the persistence of viral infections in the spinal cord is crucial for effective management and treatment strategies in affected individuals.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the factors that influence the high divorce rate in Parepare City. Next, it provides an analysis of religious relations in response to the high divorce rate and the role of religious institutions in minimizing the occurrence of divorce in Parepare City. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research with a field research style with a phenomenological approach which is useful for exploring the factors that influence the high divorce rate in Parepare City as well as religious relations and the role of religious institutions in minimizing the divorce rate in Parepare City. The primary data source for this research was obtained from direct interviews with religious institutions in Parepare City. The research results show: 1). Several factors for the high divorce rate in Parepare City are due to domestic violence, then other factors are also due to a person's level of education in married life, and the factor of not fulfilling a living both physically and mentally and a factor in the occurrence of divorce is a person's low religious values. 2). Divorce law is something that requires clear causes and conditions regarding the time the divorce occurred. Because if a divorce is carried out without any particular reason and without paying attention to the conditions or time of the divorce, the divorce may not be carried out. Divorce from a religious perspective is something that can definitely happen as a result of marriage, but divorce is the thing that is most hated by Allah and His Messenger. 3). The role of religious institutions in Parepare City in reducing the high divorce rate is by optimizing the function of the BP4 institution which plays a role as an educational, consultative and marriage empowerment institution. Apart from that, the BP4 institution also provides competent staff such as expert advisors and religious instructors who are expected to be able to carry out their roles in broadcasting religious messages in accordance with the beliefs of those they train.
