Abstract

This study explores the determinants of Indonesia's economic growth factors through inflation, exchange rates and foreign direct investment based on a quantitative paradigm. This research uses all provinces in Indonesia as population except (Bengkulu, West Sulawesi, Maluku, Gorontalo, Southwest Papua, Central Papua, Mountainous Papua and South Papua) leaving only 30 provinces as data analysis units through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using panel data regression analysis using Eviews-13. The results of the modeling selection determined that the selected model was a random effect model with a modeling contribution = 20.10%. The findings of this research provide evidence that higher inflation and foreign direct investment (FDI) have proven to have a real impact on economic growth, whereas a decrease in the exchange rate has proven unable to increase provincial economic growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

The sanitation conditions of residential houses in the Indramayu Regency are mostly categorized as low, which can potentially trigger Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI). This research aims to determine the relationship between the physical sanitation of homes and ARI in toddlers within the working area of the Cantigi Community Health Center in the Indramayu Regency. The research method employed a cross-sectional approach, with a sample taken from a total population of 95 houses in the Cantigi Community Health Center area. Data collection methods included semi-structured interviews, observations, and measurements covering ventilation, natural lighting, humidity, and flooring. Statistical tests were conducted using ordinal scale data, and the Chi-Square statistical test was chosen due to its suitability for the data used. The confidence level was set at 95% with a significance level of 5%. To determine the strength of the relationship between independent and dependent variables, the contingency coefficient (CC) was used, scored from 0 (lowest) to 1 (highest), and data processing was performed using SPSS version 24. Based on the research results, the Chi-Square test yielded the following values: ventilation p = 0.000 and CC = 0.455, lighting p = 0.000 and CC = 0.358, humidity p = 0.000 and CC = 0.538, flooring p = 0.002 and CC = 0.323. Thus, the hypothesis stating 'The relationship between ventilation, lighting, humidity, and flooring is associated with ARI in toddlers in the working area of the Cantigi Community Health Center, Indramayu Regency' is accepted, indicating a fairly strong relationship.

Abstract

Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat (LSM) is a local term that appeared in Indonesia to replace the term Ornop as a translation of Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). NGO together with the government and the private sector have a role to play in realizing good governance. Because of the strategic role of the NGO, it also requires good governance for NGO so that in the process of manifesting their roles can be accounted for to the community. The approach used to solve problems in scientific articles in the form of conceptual thinking uses normative approach methods, with skunder data sources, which are primary, skunder and tertiary legal materials. Law No. 14 of 2008 on Public Information Disclosure, classifies that non-governmental organizations whose sources of financing come from all or as from the State Budget/APBD, community donations, and/or foreign aid are public bodies. As a public body, NGO have an obligation to provide public information that is periodic, immediately and at any time that is easily accessible to the public. The urgency of transparency in the management of NGO can be seen from philosophical, juridical and sociological aspects. With the transparency of NGO management, there will be no more suspicions about NGO in Indonesia.
