Abstract

Very rapid development of the era resulted in education not only limited to class meetings. But also penetrated the digital world. The main community of the young generation is very fond of learning through social media. Starting from google, youtube, movies and also various other digital references. However, not all digital facilities, one of which is film that provides educational content that is able to have an impact on changing the character of the younger generation to the better. Mostly only love films and even penetrated in films that should not have been watched by children (sexuality). On this basis, this research was conducted to examine one of the films in the public spotlight namely the film "Snowden".The method used in the research is descriptive qualitative with the approach of study aimed at interpreting and interpreting culture so that readers can understand in the form of meaningful texts. The object of research is the film "Snowden". The theory used in this research is the theory of semiotics which is to examine the symbols, signs and visual meanings in film. Charles Sanders Peirce. Abstract

Now adays, human life is greatly influenced by technological developments and advances. The negative impact of technological developments needs to be addressed immediately so as not to have a negative impact on society, especially the younger generation. These countermeasures need to involve relevant stakeholders. The Hindu religious guide is one of the many translators who convey messages to the public. The role of a religious educator is getting heavier from day to day. This is because the irregularities that occur in society are also increasing day by day. It needs to be underlined, the task of Hindu extension workers has gotten heavier since the Covid-19 outbreak. The outbreaks that hit the world, especially Indonesia in the last six months, have caused many losses. This is what makes Hindu religious instructors have to carry out other strategies so that their task in providing dharma enlightenment to the community continues. There are strategic steps that can be taken, namely: making videos containing dharma messages and conducting counseling to the target villages. Making videos includes: collecting guidance and counseling materials, compiling written concepts of extension material in the form of scripts, and making videos of cultural arts performances or performing arts as actors and supporters of discourse. Meanwhile, counseling to assisted villages can be done by: conducting interactive dialogues, compiling operational work plans, and drafting the concept of extension material in the form of posters with Hindu religious props.Keywords: Hindu development, Hindu religious counselor

Abstract

The results of an educational process not only produce intelligent and skilled humans, but also people who have character. Therefore, it is necessary to develop character education. One concrete effort that can be implemented is literacy activities. Literacy is a activity including reading, writing, understanding, and communicating information in order to obtain the meaning and message contained in the information. Literacy that is carried out in an effort to improve character education is based on local wisdom literacy. This literacy can be done through several Balinese local wisdom products in the form of folklore, song art, as well as information on various religious holidays that are closely related to the values and order of life of the Balinese people. Through this activity, students 'interest in reading will increase because literacy activities are carried out close to students' daily lives. Abstract

The majority of Balinese are Hindu with the Khayangan Tiga concept driven by the Pakraman village customary institution. During the pandemic, the ceremony was limited by referring to the appeal from the regional and central government to tolerate not to gather more than 25 people. This phenomenon then becomes the basis for raising the issue of problems in this paper related to the form of increased synergy carried out by Hindu religious instructors with Prajuru, and what are the factors for increasing the synergy of prajuru and extension personnel. The form of this increase is through Dharma Wecana and Dharma Tula through the internet network, along with Dharma Wecana videos on YouTube. The factors for increasing synergy are the attitude of the community in the application of religious teachings and the increase in the potential of the extension agents, one of which is by increasing the extension officers from an academic and non-academic perspective. Keyword: synergy, extension workers, and Prajuru Adat

Abstract

At this time people around the world are struggling to deal with the Corona Virus pandemic which has claimed many victims. The community must remain productive to meet their needs, worship and so on by still paying attention to health protocols. The role of counseling on Hinduism is very necessary, apart from increasing the preparedness of the community to face the Covid 19 pandemic, to pay attention to the health procedures that have been recommended by the government. Efforts to cultivate Sradha and Bhakti people in religious life are also very important to focus more on carrying out prayer services in their respective homes. In this paper, it focuses on the application of the teachings of Tri Kaya Parisudha and Catur Guru by the Pandavas during the incognito period in the Matsya Kingdom in Lontar Wirata Parwa. This research is a textual research, which uses text as the main source. This was done solely to find out the mindset and chronology of Hindu thought in the past. As in Lontar Wirata Parwa, there are teachings of Tri Kaya Parisudha which consist of Kayika Parisudha, Wacika Parisudha and Manacika Parisudha. Mean while, the teachings Catur Guru consist of Guru Swadyaya, Guru Rupaka, Guru Pengajian and Guru Wisesa. Referring to these teachings, it is expected to make guidelines in life so as not to deviate from the behavior taught by Religion. Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that occurred in Indonesia changed all lines of human life, both in the fields of education, health, economy, politics, socio-culture and religion. In the religious field, the challenges of Hindu extension workers in carrying out guidance for people during this pandemic are getting heavier. Prior to the pandemic, out reach was carried out by communicating directly with the community both in temples, bale banjar, prisons, orphanages and other places with an unlimited number of participants. Now all human activities are limited, including Hindu religious counseling, it is obligatory to apply and participate in disseminating health protocols to the community. The health protocols that must be implemented are physical distancing, avoiding crowds, using masks and getting used to washing hands with soap to prevent transmission of the corona virus. The implementation of the sad dharma method of Hindu religious extension workers must also adjust to this pandemic. There are two coaching strategies during this pandemic, first online, using social media and offline, namely interacting, communicating face to face with the community. Abstract

The Gaguritan text of Niti Raja Sasana contains a leadership pattern that describes the duties as a leader. However, in its current application, there has been a shift in leadership patterns, the Hindu community in general, not many people know the teachings of this leadership. So it is deemed necessary to conduct research related to leadership patterns in the Gaguritan text of Niti Raja Sasana. The method in this research uses literary research methods with mitopic and mimetic approaches. the type of data used is qualitative, primary and secondary data sources. The data collection method used is the method of recording documents or literature. The data processing method is descriptive with induction and argumentation techniques. The Gaguritan text of Niti Raja Sasana which was the object of the study was a text written in a Lontar entitled Niti Raja Sasana. This text is packaged in Gaguritan form which uses several kinds of Pupuh. Abstract

This paper examines the role of Hindu extension workers who are actually educating and fostering the lives of Hindus by carrying out the extension's productive activities as appropriate. This was taking place during the Covid-19 pandemic that was hitting the world, including in Indonesia. Various government recommendations, both social distancing and physical distancing, require all levels of society to carry out their daily activities at home, and this also has implications for Hindu religious extension workers who take advantage of the role of information technology that is so sophisticated and advanced to sustain activities of the ministry of religion's programs to foster Hindu religious life in particular. So that by utilizing the role of technology and information, it is hoped that it can make the role of extension workers hampered by the outbreak or pandemic of Covid-19. Of course, the continuity to provide and explain the teachings of Hinduism as stated in the religious text "Veda" can be realized in order to provide understanding to Hindus. In addition, the use of such advanced information technology is also used to disseminate government calls or recommendations, namely implementing recommendations from health protocols to prevent and break the chain of spread of the corona virus. This also has a very positive impact on Hindus who need information related to understanding their religious teachings in order to gain knowledge about Hinduism through information media such as YouTube which can be accessed anywhere, either through technological devices such as laptops / computers or their smartphones.Keywords: Utilization of Online Information Media, Strategy of Hindu Religion Extension, Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract

Preservation of Subak existence in Bali as one of the local genius must be done by all stakeholders. Pekaseh is a Prajuru Subak, who is managing Subak in general, assisted by Pangliman, Penyarikan, Kasinoman, Patengen and Kelihan Tempek.  As a leader, Pekaseh has a strategic to role participate in trying to keep Subak's existence, both in Parhyangan, Pawongan, and Palemahan aspects. However, Pekaseh in assignment to preserve Subak culture, Pekaseh usually encounters principal constraints resulting from the character of most societies today which is empirical-profane materialistic, which causes: (a) Society is very easy to sell land for a lot of money. (b) Granting land transfer permits for housing, without coordinating with the Pekaseh. (c) The interest of the younger generation to become farmers is very little. The young generation prefers to work in other sectors such as the more promising tourism sector. (d) Society today cannot be separated from materials or money, so most people's lives are pursuing materials/money.Keyword: Pekaseh, Subak

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, health is very important to maintain, not only physical and mental health, spiritual health is also increasingly being considered as a necessity. For this reason, yoga provides a way of overall health for humans. Yoga activities during the pandemic have not subsided by yoga practitioners. Various sharing efforts have been made by yoga teachers and yoga practitioners, from using the media Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Zoom-meeting, Webex-meeting, and various other media to the appearance of a virtual yoga activity. This virtual yoga activity is also included in one of the six Hindu guidance methods, namely dharma sadhana. As an effort to guide mankind to achieve happiness and harmony in life through yoga in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, various social media portals available on the internet are maximized for their functions by yoga practitioners and practitioners so that they can be connected to one another without reduce the meaning of the yoga activity. Based on the author's search results on social media portals regarding virtual yoga activities, it can be concluded that in order to obtain good spiritual health it can be said that practicing yoga during the Covid-19 pandemic greatly affects the spiritual health condition of yoga practitioners.Keywords: Virtual Yoga; Dharma Sadhana; Spiritual Health.
