Abstract

The development of science and technology, and the changing times are one of the reasons why moral degradation occurs. This is caused by the unpreparedness of individuals to accept various changes and the completion of these developments. On the other hand, Indonesia as a country rich in culture, which is full of positive values ??that can help people avoid non-moral actions. Bali as part of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, is one of the regions that is rich in culture but also faced with the problem of moral degradation. Apparently there is a problem where some cultural products are not able to bring the community away from non-moral activities due to the bias of the meaning of values ??to develop national character, as the main capital that creates superior individuals. For this reason, an analysis of cultural outcomes consisting of the traditional game of macebo-keboan was developed as a medium for national character education, offered based on local cultural values, but still in accordance with the national character and virtue values ??in the global community. Keywords : Traditional Games, Mekebo-keboan, Character Education

Abstract

This paper examines the role of Hindu extension workers who are actually educating and fostering the lives of Hindus by carrying out the extension's productive activities as appropriate. This was taking place during the Covid-19 pandemic that was hitting the world, including in Indonesia. Various government recommendations, both social distancing and physical distancing, require all levels of society to carry out their daily activities at home, and this also has implications for Hindu religious extension workers who take advantage of the role of information technology that is so sophisticated and advanced to sustain activities of the ministry of religion's programs to foster Hindu religious life in particular. So that by utilizing the role of technology and information, it is hoped that it can make the role of extension workers hampered by the outbreak or pandemic of Covid-19. Of course, the continuity to provide and explain the teachings of Hinduism as stated in the religious text "Veda" can be realized in order to provide understanding to Hindus. In addition, the use of such advanced information technology is also used to disseminate government calls or recommendations, namely implementing recommendations from health protocols to prevent and break the chain of spread of the corona virus. This also has a very positive impact on Hindus who need information related to understanding their religious teachings in order to gain knowledge about Hinduism through information media such as YouTube which can be accessed anywhere, either through technological devices such as laptops / computers or their smartphones. Keywords: Utilization of Online Information Media, Strategy of Hindu Religion Extension, Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract

TRACT Ethics is knowledge of decency. Decency is in the form of rules that contain prohibitions or orders to do something. Thus in ethics we will find teachings about good deeds and bad deeds. Good deeds are to be carried out and bad deeds are avoided, of course ethics in Hinduism is a religious norm used as a starting point for thinking. such patterns of belief, philosophies of Hindu religion have a very important position in Hindu ethics. In Tutur Kumaratatwa, it is also mentioned, if we can control our appetite, we will get a state of silence, not moving, all lust will die, such as: adi astiti, pasingidan, henang-hening, tutur amunah carma, and lina. Besides that, to be able to become a wise man and have noble character, it is necessary to apply the teachings that exist in Hinduism, such as the Trikaya Parisudha, Panca Yama and Nyama Brata, and Dasa Yama and Niyama Brata. Abstract

Philosophically, the meaning of Ngaben Ceremony performed by the community in general, including the Mass Ngaben Ceremony is as a process to accelerate the return of elements of Panca Maha Bhuta to its origin or to their respective sources. The Ngaben ceremony also hasthe meaning of assisting Atman’s journey towards Brahman. With the return of Panca Maha Bhuta elements forming Sthula Sarira, Atman has increased his journey from Bhur Loka to Bhuwah Loka. In Bhuwah Loka Atman is still dressed Suksma Sarira. Thus the Ngaben ceremonyis the first stage of purification of Pitara, by releasing Pitara from the Panca Maha Bhuta ties. Sometimes in the community there is an understanding that is less in line with religious literature, about the nature and purpose of the Ngaben ceremony. Often the implementation of Ngaben is mistakenly interpreted, namely to find the place of the spirits of his ancestors in Heaven. In the course of the ancestral spirits to heaven, it requires a lot of provisions or beya in the form of a great banten. Keywords: Psychological Implication, Ngaben, Sradha, Bhakti

Abstract

The teachings of Hinduism are contained in the Vedic scriptures and are applied in various literary works. The orthodoxy of the Hindu community in Bali, in understanding the teachings of the Vedas can be through the original media of the archipelago culture through lontar texts. In the life of the Balinese people, lontar get a very important place, as a source of various knowledge. The problem to be discussed in the Lontar Lebur Gangsa text is how is the law of karmaphala and pangruwatan in the text Lontar Lebur Gangsa? Based on the discussion on the text Lontar Tutur Lebur Gangsa, it can be mentioned about the human condition in this life; like why humans can experience good conditions now that are felt as a beauty, and also sometimes ugliness? According to the text Lontar Tutur Lebur Gangsa, this is nothing but the result (phala) of his own actions (Karma), which are related to Sancita, Karmaphala, Pralabdha, and Kriyamana Karmaphala, which is explained explicitly about the consequences obtained from the deeds done by humans. Everything that causes misery in human life is also associated with the ritual ruwatan as an attempt to cleanse spiritually in the hope that all deficiencies can be neutralized into a better life. Keywords: Text of Lontar Lebur Gangsa, Karma Phala, Pangruwatan
