Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that occurred in Indonesia changed all lines of human life, both in the fields of education, health, economy, politics, socio-culture and religion. In the religious field, the challenges of Hindu extension workers in carrying out guidance for people during this pandemic are getting heavier. Prior to the pandemic, out reach was carried out by communicating directly with the community both in temples, bale banjar, prisons, orphanages and other places with an unlimited number of participants. Now all human activities are limited, including Hindu religious counseling, it is obligatory to apply and participate in disseminating health protocols to the community. The health protocols that must be implemented are physical distancing, avoiding crowds, using masks and getting used to washing hands with soap to prevent transmission of the corona virus. The implementation of the sad dharma method of Hindu religious extension workers must also adjust to this pandemic. There are two coaching strategies during this pandemic, first online, using social media and offline, namely interacting, communicating face to face with the community. The two strategies can be implemented in the respective target areas in accordance with the situation and conditions. Keywords: Implementation, Sad Dharma Method, Hindu Religious Counseling, COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract

Bali tourism began to shift from a tourism pattern based on local wisdom (culture) towards massive and modern tourism. The situation is worsened by the start of the development of many tourist objects presenting western culture and also technological advances. To overcome this, it is necessary to identify the existence of a tourist village which is now being intensified by the government. Previous researches on tourism villages have touched the extent to which the concept of tourism villages is integrated with the value of Tri Hita Karana which has become the spirit of Bali tourism so far. The deepening of this research discussion is expected to provide clarity regarding the development of Tri Hita Karanabased tourism if examined in terms of socioreligious. Keywords: Tourism, Tri Hita Karana, Socio-Religiou

One of the local wisdom in Bali that can be used as a foothold in the effort to realize the development of tourism is Tri Hita Karana. Tri Hita Karana is a concept built on the principle of harmony of life which consists of three elements that are interconnected with each other. The three elements are, parahyangan, pawongan, and palemahan. Parahyangan in harmony of relationship betweenhuman with God, pawongan goods harmony with human relationship, and palemahan tradeharmony with environment and nature. Implementation of of the concept of parahyangan can bedone by building places of worship around the tourist area, conducting prayer activities.Implementation of the concept of pawongan can be done by greeting each other with “OmSwastyastu” to all people encountered and maintain intimacy among religious people.Implementation of the concept of palemahan can be done by not storing garbage carelessly, keeping the environment free of air pollution, greening and tree planting. Keywords: Culture, Tourism, Sustainable Tourism

Abstract

Indonesia is  a  nation  inhabited  by  people with  diverse  religious,  ethnic,  and  social backgrounds. Plurality is  an indisputable  reality in this  archipelago.  On the  one  hand, this pluralism becomes the social capital of nation-building, and on the other hand the latent potential of social conflict. Humans are both indiviudu creatures as well as social beings. As social beings of course human beings are required to be able to interact with other individuals in order to meet their needs. In living a social life in society, an individual will be faced with groups of different colors with him one of which is the difference of religion. Live his social life can not be denied there will be friction-friction that will occur between groups of people, both related to race and religion. In order to maintain unity and unity in society it is necessary to respect each other and respect each other, so that friction-friction that can lead to disputes can be avoided. Communities are also required to keep each other’s rights and obligations between them from each other. All religions come from God Almighty who is revealed through His revelation or holy word to  glorify  human life. Through His  holy teachings, it is  hoped that  human  beings will become human beings who possess noble character. As long as the doctrine which is practiced by man does not deviate from the path of truth, then the differences that exist in every religion need not be disputed. By living side by side without questioning religious differences, it actually shows the implementation of the teachings of religion itself. Religious people are human beings capable of dampening any emotional upheaval arising from differences in patterns of religious life that differ from individual to individual, so violence in the name of religion can be avoided. Is not the flowers of the garden looks beautiful precisely because the colors of different flowers. Observing the current development in society, the people preferably use uncomplicated technique that is crematorium as means of contestation. Society contestation through ceremony without preserving tradition, culture, art and customary ritual preservation, precisely provides a convenience for the existence of crematorium. Without we realize the desire and the purpose of society to show our life pattern through certain ceremonies tend to lead to consumptive society even hedonic, where with the existence of crematorium does not reduce the significance of the rituals, traditions, customs, cultures, and arts. Keywords: Contestation, Ngaben, Tourism.
