Abstract

Mulia Baru is a shop engaged in the sale and purchase of household appliances. CV. Mulia Baru is always crowded with customers both from within the city and from outside the city. The goods sold also vary, such as cabinets, tables, stoves, dispensers and so on. The buying and selling process can be done in cash and credit payments, for cash payments there are no significant obstacles, but credit payments often occur in paying debts to suppliers and collecting receivables from customers being late. Inventory information is also not update. The purpose of this system design is to produce a blueprint of an information system that fits the needs and business processes of the CV. New Highness. The methodology used for system design is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology. The design of the system input design uses Visual Studio 2017 and the output uses Crystal report. The results of this writing are expected to be used by CV. Mulia Baru as a reference in realizing an information system that helps improve its operational performance. Abstract

The aging process always happens to men or women regardless of sex or gender. One of the things that is always attached and related to gender is masculinity. The definition of masculinity is a culturally influenced social thought and practice about how to shape male traits. The hegemony of masculinity that is dominated by young men causes masculinity in older men to be considered demasculinized or the loss of masculinity. The depiction of aging masculinity in Indonesian film media has recently dared to break the stigma of masculinity dominated by young men. One of the Indonesian films, Sejuta Sayang Untuknya, directed by Herwin Novianto, tells about family issues regarding the struggle of an elderly single father in raising and caring for his only daughter amid economic difficulties. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with John Fiske's semiotic analysis method to convey codes and deep meanings in the movie. The researcher's goal is to represent how aging masculinity in the movie Sejuta Sayang Untuknya, especially in the character of Aktor Sagala as a single father. The results of this study found that there are 6 scenes related to twilight masculinity analyzed using John Fiske's three stages of semiotics including the level of reality, level of representation, and level of ideology. Abstract

Emotional closeness is fundamental in a harmonious family which is often implemented with interaction between parents and children, but interaction is not always the main thing but behavior, habits, touch or physical contact also greatly affect emotional closeness. This study aims to explore the form of emotional closeness that is formed between parents and children in the film ‘Pulang’, the theme of the film is family conflict which focuses on Pras (Ringgo Agus) and Rindu (Ziva Magnolya) during their trip to Jogjakarta. By using John Fiske's semiotic analysis with its three levels, the research results can be presented in the form of a representation of emotional closeness at the level of reality which is confirmed through dynamic interactions, freedom of expression and gestures as a form of care and affection. The level representation highlighted in the camera technique (shots) has shown signs at the level of reality as evidenced by the interactions between the characters. The ideological level found is Liberalism which is applied in parenting, education and early child development by parents in influencing emotional closeness. Then the form of emotional closeness that is formed is a secure attachment pattern that constructs a high emotional reality closeness to the characters Pras and Rindu. Abstract

This study aims to find out how the attitude of adolescents towards their parents, in the principles of Islamic communication in Jaharun Village, Galang District. This is motivated by the lack of awareness of adolescents in communication ethics. In general, everyone must have communication ethics, because communication is the most important thing in the life of every human being. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data we collected used the interview and observation stages. After this data was obtained, we carried out this analysis using the tabularasa theory. The results of this study turned out that the attitudes and communication ethics of adolescents were not in accordance with the principles of Islamic communication. Therefore, the effort that can be made for the awareness of youth in Jaharun village is to mobilize and provide motivation through activities related to good communication. In addition, the assemblies in Jaharun Village must also be developed and revived, by inviting all youth to attend every recitation held by the assemblies. Abstract

Universities must have libraries to encourage student literacy, the library is a location for a collection of information provided to add insight that is not known, in this study the researchers looked at how library collaboration was built for the sake of fulfilling information in the library, collaboration is one of the supports for libraries to meet information needs which exists. Along with the times, Indonesia is also developing, one of which is technology, so libraries use technology to facilitate collaboration, through library collaboration networks it is very easy to do, even at a long distance, libraries are very easy to access by other people, one example is the establishment of organizations such as FPPTI and FKP2TN. The existence of contemporary da'wah at this time needs to be brought closer to science, especially when facing current conflicts in society. Abstract

After the peace agreement, Indonesia is now in the post-conflict era and many conflicts in various regions of Indonesia have decreased. Democratization and decentralization bring about improvements in social, economic and security conditions in society. This paper discusses post-conflict challenges in various regions of Indonesia. The main focus of this paper is approaches and strategies for post-conflict peacebuilding in order to build a foundation for peace to achieve consolidation of peace and sustainable development. economics, education and law. The third sector is the main focus of development in order to overcome the root of the conflict. As well as the establishment of institutions (FKUB), FKDM and FPK, as a responsive step by the government in detecting social conflicts in society. The success of all levels of post-conflict management is still dominated by the state, and this is the weakness of the post-conflict management being carried out, due to the dominance of state actors, with minimal involvement/involvement from civil society. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to tell or educate readers about the global promotion dynamics. This study employs a quantitative literature review as its type of research. The research method involves combining data from multiple sources, such as books and the internet, into a single one. Finding the necessary information is the method that is used to collect the data. Human thinking and behavior can be altered by rapid technological advancement, particularly in marketing mix strategies like advertising, customer promotion, personal selling, and publicity. The promotion of goods and services has seen a rapid rise in the use of technology and informatics systems like the internet and cyberspace. Manufacturers can use this opportunity to inform, offer, persuade, motivate, and even "force" consumers to try, buy, and even become loyal customers by taking advantage of this technology at very low costs. They can also use it to penetrate borders between countries. This technological advancement benefits consumers as well as producers. Customers are able to quickly obtain product-specific information. Abstract

The development of information technology is currently growing rapidly. The use of social media as an effective tool for political campaigns has been widely reported in several studies. The power of social media has fueled transparency and supported e-democracy around the world. Citizens have the freedom to choose the best candidate to represent them in parliament. This study aims to examine the role of social media as a campaign media for political parties (political parties). This study was a descriptive study with secondary data. The results of the study showed that there were several factors that affect the electability of general elections. They can also be influenced by the existence of social media accounts for each candidate or political party to attract sympathizers. The use of social media by political parties was carried out by almost all political parties in Indonesia, so that political parties with a low existence rate compared to elite political parties had a greater effort to demonstrate the capabilities of these political parties. Another advantage of the use of social media by political parties was that they were able to embrace more sympathizers from the younger generation, for example Gen Z and Millennials. This was expected to significantly increase public participation in political activities for all people and generations. Keywords: Social Media; Political Campaign; Political parties

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to ascertain the impact of social media TikTok use on Surabaya teenagers’ motivation to learn. This study is methodology is descriptive quantitative research. The analysis used is causal statistical analysis, which tries to analyze populations or research samples, collect evidence using research instruments, and establish the specified hypotheses. According to the reports’ results, TikTok has a big impact on Surabaya teenagers’ motivation to learn. This demonstrated by the regression equation test results, that Y = 23,346 + 0, 254X, indicating that very increase of one unit in the TikTok score will be followed by an increase of 0,254 with a constant of 23,346 in learning motivation. This study also revealed the impact of the social media TikTok on teenagers in Surabaya through describing its advantages and disadvantages as well as the frequency of uses. Another fact is that teenagers in Surabaya utilize TikTok as a platform for knowledge, information, and enjoyment as well as stress reduction. They do not utilize TikTok as a platform for sharing entertainment content or creating content to achieve more followers.
