Abstract

The development of preschool children is very important because children will be able to adapt to the environment with physical development and psychosocial development, Sigmud Freud (2019) to know the relationship of the mother's role in the development of preschool children in the holsa, Administrative post Maliana, Bobonaro, Timor-Leste 2022. Research methods: The researcher used the quantitative descriptive method with a cross-sectional approach. The research sampling technique used non-probabilistic and intentional sampling. The instrument used by the researcher was a questionnaire and observation of the DDST. Researcher ensures that the information used is an additional skill for mothers and preschool children aged 4 to 6 years. the research shows that there is a relationship between the role of the mother and child development, using SPSS version 24.0. The analysis of the cross-spearmen ranks test showed that the P value was 0.001 < 0.05, with the spearmen's correlation 0.619, the strength of the correlation index. The role of mothers in kindergarten is almost half that of the moderate mother. The development of preschool children in kindergarten is almost entirely normal and there is a relationship between the role of the mother and the development of preschoolers in early childhood education.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between self-regulation and career decision-making self-efficacy among students at Wikrama Vocational School, Bogor. Vocational school graduates are the biggest contributor to the unemployment rate. One that influences. Vocational school education is provided to prepare students for the transition from school to the world of work. This research is quantitative research using a survey method distributed online. The research participants were 486 grade 12 students at Wikrama Vocational School, Bogor, aged 16-18 years. The measuring tools in this research used the Self-Regulation Questionnaire (SRQ) and Career Decision Self-Efficacy (CDSE). Data analysis used non-parametric statistical techniques with the Spearman's Rho correlation test technique. The results of the research analysis show that there is a significant positive relationship between self-regulation and career decision-making self-efficacy for Wikrama Bogor Vocational School students (r = 0.545; p = <0.001). So, the higher the self-regulation that Wikrama Bogor Vocational School students have, the higher the self-efficacy they have in making career decisions.

Abstract

going to college and working is nothing new among students. It is not easy to carry out multiple roles simultaneously because you have to divide your time so that the two can run in balance. This condition causes students to tend to lose motivation in pursuing their studies and doubt their own abilities, thus demonstrating the need for strong academic self-efficacy. This study aims to determine whether self-efficacy influences academic burnout. In this study, there were 203 respondents with a total of 24 items who participated and met the criteria for filling out the questionnaire. To prove the research hypothesis about Academic Self-Efficacy based on gender and major, based on the results of the reliability test using Cronbach alpha, the coefficient on Academic Self-Efficacy is 0.862.

Abstract

Teenagers currently looking for their identity are fond of idol artists to be used as role models. This makes teenagers have a love or obsession with their idol artists so that they imitate their idol artists in living their daily lives. Increased focus influences adolescent behavior; this study aims to analyze the obsession with artists in Thai enthusiast youth with 133 respondents in adolescents who experience obsession with their idol artists based on availability to fill out a questionnaire. This study used the Celebrity Worship Scale (CWS) data analysis by analyzing obsession categories and correlation analysis techniques. The results show that obsession among Thai enthusiast teenagers is not low; this happens because the scope of adolescents can have a relatively high level of focus.

Abstract

A person's health has various levels, some are very weak so they easily experience health problems, but there are also those who are strong so they can tolerate it so they don't easily suffer health problems. So the relationship between age and increasing age causes the prevalence of OA to increase. Furthermore, there are also work relationships that use joints or rely on joints with very heavy loads, even more than the weight that our joints can bear. Objective: The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between age and type of work on the daily activities of osteoarthritis sufferers. Research Method: This correlative descriptive uses a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were osteoarthritis sufferers aged 55-70 years who were at the Bhayangkara DIY POLDA Hospital in 2023 totaling 49 patients. Data were collected using total sampling with a sample size of 33 respondents. Results: The results of the analysis using the chi square test showed a ρ-value of 0.126 p>0.05, with no relationship between age and daily activities of osteoarthritis sufferers shown, which means the hypothesis was rejected. Meanwhile, for the relationship between type of work and daily activities of osteoarthritis sufferers, the value of ρ 0.032 p>0.05. There is a relationship between the type of work and the daily activities of osteoarthritis sufferers. Conclusion: There is no relationship between age and the daily activities of osteoarthritis sufferers and the relationship between the two is very weak. Meanwhile, there is a significant relationship between the type of work and the daily activities of osteoarthritis sufferers and the relationship between the two is very strong. Suggestion: For future researchers, it is hoped that they will explain the relationship between age and type of work on the daily activities of osteoarthritis sufferers in detail so that it is clearer, and can also add variables to be studied to make it more complete.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the capacitance value of a supercapacitor using TiO2 and coconut shells as organic rGO from natural waste. The method used to produce this material is to use wet chemistry by adding H2SO4 to coconut shell carbon to improve its electrolyte properties. After that, when applying a supercapacitor, phosphoric acid is used. The results obtained from this research are that the highest value is in a ratio of 1:1 at a value of 489 µF with a decrease in the last measurement at a value of 426 µF, while the lowest capacitance value is in a ratio of 1:3. Based on the measurement results obtained a capacitance value of 58 µF and a reduction value capacity up to 53 µF.

Abstract

This research aims to make a step-by-step process to determine the most optimal completion time for the Flexible Job Shop Scheduling case. Flexible Job Shop Scheduling which not only aims to sequence operations on jobs but also chooses the machine to be used in processing an operation makes this scheduling more complicated than ordinary Job Shop Scheduling. This scheduling involves interval-shaped gray numbers to accommodate uncertainty in job ordering time. This further extends the complexity of scheduling. To solve this case a metaheuristic algorithm namely Tabu Search will be used. This algorithm uses mutation on the solution a number of iterations until it produces the best solution. The use of a tabu list in the Tabu Search algorithm to ensure the search is not trapped in the local minimum.

Abstract

The aim of carrying out this research is to make human work easier by using technological developments, namely the Arduino Uno, in the form of implementing an automatic curtain opening and closing system. The method used in this research is to design a program using the Arduino Uno application and design the tool, ending with testing the design results. From this research, an automatic curtain opening and closing system was produced which was controlled by the Arduino Uno program. With the development of this technology, it can make it easier for humans to control and manage without experiencing difficulties. As before, without this technology, opening and closing the curtains becomes difficult to reach because they are too high, making things uncomfortable. From this research, the output voltage from the Arduino Uno is produced with a range of 4.8 V-4.9 V.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that caused many people to lose their jobs due to layoffs has made current candidates reconsider job-security as something they look for when looking for a job. Previous research shows that job-security has a significant effect on organizational attractiveness, but there are still inconsistencies in research results. This study aims to determine the effect of job-security on organizational attractiveness, as well as to determine the difference in the effect of offering and not offering job-security by the company. The study used a quantitative approach with data collection techniques using the survey method. Job-security is operated as a manipulation by referring to the characteristics of Lievens et al (2005) and divided into 2, namely companies that offer job-security and companies that do not offer job-security. Organizational attractiveness was measured using a scale from Aiman-Smith et al (2001). The number of participants was 241 people. The data analysis technique used was repeated measure analysis of variance. The results in this study show that job-security has a significant effect on organizational attractiveness, and it was found that the effect of companies that offer job-security was found to be greater than companies that do not offer job-security.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the moderating effect of resilience on the relationship between caregiver burden and psychological well-being in mothers of the sandwich generation. Providing care for two generations simultaneously leads to a decrease in psychological well-being triggered by the caregiver burden experienced by mothers of the sandwich generation. The presence of resilience in individuals can enhance psychological well-being even when they are still experiencing caregiver burden. This quantitative study utilized a survey method with questionnaires, including the Burden Scale for Family Caregivers short scale, Ryff’s Psychological Well-Being Scale, and the Resilience Scale, which were administered to 130 Indonesian married housewives aged 30 to 55 years old, who were simultaneously taking care of and living with both their parents/in-laws and children. Data analysis was performed using moderator analysis techniques with the assistance of the statistical software Jamovi for Windows version 3.2.28. The results of the study indicate that caregiver burden has a negative impact on the psychological well-being of mothers in the sandwich generation. Furthermore, the resilience of mothers in the sandwich generation has a positive influence on psychological well-being, but resilience does not moderate the influence of caregiver burden and psychological well-being
