Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Berkembangnya teknologi telah mengubah perilaku manusia, tuntutan pekerjaan tentu saja juga meningkat. Stress yang dialami individu pada jangka saat yang lama menggunakan intensitas yang cukup tinggi akan menyebabkan individu yang bersangkutan menderita burnout. Burnout merupakan istilah populer untuk kondisi penurunan energi mental atau fisik setelah periode stres yang tidak sembuh-sembuh berkaitan dengan pekerjaan, terkadang dicirikan dengan pekerjaan atau dengan penyakit fisik (Aziah Flora Grace, 2018). Menurut Christy dan Amalia (2018, dalam Syakarofath, 2019) dampak positif stres dapat menaikkan (fungsional) performansi kerja, sedangkan akibat negatifnya dapat menghambat atau merusak (infungsional) performansi kerja. Hal ini tergantung di seberapa besar taraf tertekan yang dialami. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui dukungan sosial yang dapat mengurangi burnout kerja karyawan. Metode: Tinjauan sistematik melalui review jurnal dengan tema dukungan sosial dan burnout kerja karyawan. Sumber pencarian artikel diakses dari internet database diantaranya: Science Direct, Sage, ProQuest, dan Garuda Dikti. Total jurnal yang berhasil dihimpun sebanyak 148 jurnal, dan sebanyak 6 jurnal yang sesuai dengan kriteria. Hasil review literatur mulai dari tahun 2017 – 2021. Hasil: Dukungan sosial dari rekan kerja memiliki dampak yang positif antara tuntutan emosional dan kesehatan perawat. Dukungan sosial dari rekan kerja secara efektif akan memberikan dampak dalam mengurangi burnout, stres, gejala depresi dan masalah tidur. Akibat burnout bagi organisasi adalah meningkatnya frekuensi tidak masuk kerja, berhenti dari pekerjaan atau job turnover, sehingga kemudian berpengaruh pada efektivitas dan efisiensi kerja dalam organisasi (Cherniss, dalam Atmaja & Suana, 2019). Kesimpulan: Interaksi sosial dengan rekan kerja ialah sumber dukungan yang sangat krusial bagi individu untuk dapat beradaptasi dengan stress. Burnout yang dibiarkan berlarut-larut di lingkungan perusahaan pada akhirnya akan berpengaruh negatif juga pada kesehatan lingkungan sosial kerja itu sendiri.

Abstract

Face-to-face Learning (PTM) for basic education students has its challenges in its implementation, especially the case of the spread of the COVID-19 virus at the level of basic education, which is quite high. The involvement of parents plays a very important role in preparing elementary school children's adaptation to face PTM. This study aims to describe the involvement of parents of COVID-19 survivors in preparing for the adaptation of elementary school children to face-to-face learning by looking at the form of involvement and the factors that influence it. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The results showed that three research subjects showed involvement at home by providing education about the dangers of the COVID-19 virus by linking previous experiences, paying attention to aspects of family health, and communicating more intensely with children. Involvement in schools is demonstrated by attending parent meetings, providing advice to schools regarding PTM preparation, ensuring school readiness by visiting schools directly, and communicating with schools. The influencing factor is the belief of parents based on the experience of contracting COVID-19, such as excessive worry, understanding of the role of parents, and the belief that they can help children. Another factor is the perception of parents from the surrounding environment, such as from schools in the form of special regulations for the implementation of PTM, the infrastructure supporting health protocols, providing vaccination socialization, and support from teachers and parents of fellow survivors

Abstract

Children with attention deficit symptom are generally difficult to have focus and centering their attention on long period of time, especially on completing school assignments process. Children with attention-centered symptom are easier to be distracted with many things around whether it is sounds, lights and noises. They also easily nodded and hardly focus on the assignment given. Therefore, there is an intervention to improve children attention and concentration. One of the techniques is play therapy called "Beat the Clock" which designed for children with attention-centered symptom. The objective of this research was to observe the effectivity of this play therapy called "Beat the Clock" in improving inattention children attention duration. The participant was six years old kindergarten. This research used single case experiment with data interview, observation and DSM V checklis method to ADHD inattention. The result of this research showed that play therapy called "Beat the Clock" had improved the participant's attention duration and concentration power although it was not improved drastically but there was an improvement from baseline phase and follow-up.Anak-anak dengan gejala pemusatan perhatian biasaya sulit untuk fokus dan memusatkan perhatiannya pada jangka waktu yang lama, terlebih lagi saat proses penyelesaian tugas di sekolah. Anak dengan gejala pemusatan perhatian akan mudah terdistraksi dengan berbagai hal yang berada di sekitar lingkungannya baik itu suara, cahaya dan bunyi-bunyian. Mereka juga mudah berpaling dan tidak mudah fokus dengan tugas yang diberikan. Oleh sebab itu terdapat sebuah intervensi untuk meningkatkan atensi dan konsentrasi anak salah satu tekhnik tersebut ialah play therapy “Beat the Clock” (Mengalahkan Waktu) yang dimana tekhnik ini didesain untuk anak-anak dengan gejala pemusatan perhatian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk melihat efektivitas play therapy “Beat the Clock” (Mengalahkan Waktu) dalam meningkatkan durasi atensi anak dengan gejala innatention. Partisipasi merupakan anak laki-laki berusia 6 tahun yang masih duduk dibangku TK. Penelitian ini menggunakan single case experiment dengan pengumpulan data dan dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan checklis DSM V terkait ADHD innatention. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik play therapy “Beat the Clock” memiliki pengaruh untuk meningkatkan durasi atensi serta daya konsentrasi subjek meskipun durasi atensi yang ditunjukkan tidak meningkat secara drastis, namun terjadi peningkatkan dari fase baseline dan follow up.

Abstract

Limited job opportunities amidst high competition in job-seeking during the pandemic can create a sense of insecurity in competing for jobs. This study aimed to help individual overcome feelings of insecurity and increase confidence in competing for jobs in the pandemic era. The study used a psychoeducation program to improve Optimism and Confidence with Appreciative Inquiry approach. The intervention was held in virtual space, through a webinar that was attended by 33 participants. The data collection technique used a sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out using paired sample t-test. The result showed that there was a significant difference in the Optimistic dimension (t=2.528; p=0.020) and there was a significant trend in the Confidence variable (t=1.930; p=0.068). Psychoeducation with the application of the online learning model and Appreciative Inquiry approach can increase individual confidence, especially in the aspect of optimism.

Abstract

Tujuan kajian literatur ini adalah untuk menggali efektifitas dari pembelajaran daring yang sudah dilaksanakan hampir dua tahun selama pandemi Covid-19 berlangsung terutama pada mahasiswa. Sumber dari artikel kajian literatur ini adalah dari Garuda Dikti dan Scopus. Keyword yang digunakan dalam pencarian artikel yaitu efektifitas pembelajaran daring (online learning effectivenes) dengan kriteria inklusi adalah artikel penelitian dari tahun 2020-2021, artikel utama, fulltext dengan subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa. 136 artikel penelitian yang didapatkan dari proses pencarian dan tujuh artikel yang akan dikaji karena memenuhi semua kriteria baik inklusi serta tujuan literature review ini. Dari tujuh artikel yang didapatkan dari proses pencarian selanjutnya dilaksanakan penilaian kritis serta dianalisis dengan simplified thematic analysis. Tema yang muncul dari kajian literatur ini adalah sikap mahasiswa terhadap efektifitas pembelajaran daring, faktor yang mempengaruhi efektifitas pembelajaran daring, efek dari pembelajaran daring, serta hambatan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring. Secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa penyelenggaraan pembelajaran daring dimasa pandemi Covid-19 pada mahasiswa dapat terlaksana secara efektif, dengan strategi pembelajaran daring serta motivasi belajar daring merupakan faktor yang mempengaruhi efektifitas pembelajaran daring tersebut. Pembelajaran daring sendiri memiliki efek terhadap kepuasan dan semangat belajar, meskipun dalam pelaksanaannya juga tetap memiliki kendala yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to help parents develop effective learning assistance strategies for their children's distance learning during COVID-19 pandemic. This study applies action research with a positive deviance approach, involving the transfer of knowledge and experiences of positive deviants, namely parents who have previously found adaptive assisting strategies. The participants consisted of parents of elementary school students, with children who are carrying out full learning from home. Data collection was carried out through interviews, focus group discussions, observation, and the use of documents via a google form, while the data analysis used thematic analysis techniques. The results obtained are in the form of a formulation of effective learning assistance strategies applied at home based on good parental practices during the COVID-19 pandemic, consisting of steps to overcome four specific challenges. All strategic steps formulated have a positive impact on both parents and children.

Abstract

Teachers have a very crucial role in the success of learning in schools. The reality that often occurs in the field is that the main problem faced by teachers is their low ability to facilitate learning that suits students’ characteristics and learning styles. Most teachers do not know how to identify students’ characteristics and learning styles, and use these uniqueness to create or adjust learning designs. This was also experienced by the Miftahul Hikmah Sidoarjo Flagship School. Based on these needs, this community service activity is aimed at providing training to develop teacher skills in identifying and using students’ characteristics and learning styles to design or adapt instructional learning designs. The methods used in this program are focus group discussions, training and mentoring. Participants in this program were 20 teachers from the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Hikmah Sidoarjo as a prototype. This activity will be continued in several elementary schools/madrasahs in Sidoarjo Regency. The result of this activity was an increase in teachers’ ability to identify students’ characteristics and learning styles using The Multiple Intelligence, Myer-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and Learning Style approaches. Meanwhile, to identify learning styles using visual, auditory and kinesthetic concepts. Apart from identifying individual students, teachers could also identify the characteristics and learning styles of classes (group of students). In addition, participats could adjust teaching modules based on student characteristics and learning styles. Teachers could identify components of teaching modules that could be adjusted based on the results of identifying students’ characteristics and learning styles, as well as being able to adapt teaching modules.

Abstract

Self-esteem merupakan salah satu aspek yang memainkan peran penting bagi remaja dalam memberikan penilaian terhadap dirinya sendiri. Namun, remaja yang mengalami masa transisi dari anak-anak menuju dewasa merupakan tahapan perkembangan pertama yang rentan mengalami penurunan tingkat self-esteem. Tidak hanya ibu, sosok ayah juga memainkan peran penting terhadap perkembangan self-esteem remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas lebih dalam terkait persepsi keterlibatan ayah dalam pengasuhan dan kaitannya dengan self-esteem remaja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah literature review dari enam database jurnal elektronik internasional, yaitu Springer Link, ScienceDirect, APA PsycNet, Scopus, Wiley, dan SAGE Journals. Hasil literature review dari 12 artikel yang telah memenuhi kriteria menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan ayah yang positif berhubungan secara signifikan dengan tingkatan self-esteem remaja yang lebih tinggi.

Abstract

This research is a preliminary study to see the effect of survival show program consumption on Korean language third language vocabulary acquisition. The study used a one-way pre-test post-test design with 10 participants (N=10) aged between 18 and 24 years old currently studying Korean autodidactly as their third language. The survival show program used in this experiment is the 5th episode of the show "Produce 101 Season 2". Then, the researcher tested participants' Korean third language vocabulary acquisition with a set of Korean vocabulary tests. The collected data was then analyzed using the Wilcoxon technique. This research found that The survival show program could significantly increase participants' Korean third language vocabulary acquisition (Z=-4.089, p=0.0001). The result shows that the survival show program could be an effective medium for increase Korean third language vocabulary acquisition autodidactly.

Abstract

Satisfaction with life is an important element of mental health as its protective features against depression, anxiety, and other mental health problems. The bottom-up theory of life satisfaction explained that satisfaction in specific domains tend to sum up to general life satisfaction. accordingly, studies reported that relationship satisfaction predicts general life satisfaction This cross-sectional study aims to investigate the role of two variables, namely perceived social support (PSS) and mattering. We hypothesized that PSS and mattering perform full serial mediation on the link relationship between relationship satisfaction and life satisfaction. 256 individuals who live in several urban areas in West Malaysia were recruited through purposive sampling to respond to online form consisted of scales of relationship satisfaction, satisfaction with life, general mattering scale and multidimensional scale of perceived social support. Bootstrap method with 95% confidence interval and 5,000 samples was conducted through PROCESS Macro model 6; the results suggested that a significant, full serial mediation occurred. Additionally, both PSS and mattering significantly predicted life satisfaction after controlling for each other.
