Abstract

The aim of this study is to explore and clarify how democratic leadership style, intrinsic motivation, and organizational climate impact employee performance in savings and loan cooperatives located in Rembang District. The research involved a sample of 111 marketing staff from 11 cooperatives, adhering to Law Number 25 of 1992 concerning Cooperatives. Data was gathered through questionnaires using a saturated sampling method. Multiple linear regression was implemented to analysis the data. Findings reveal that democratic leadership style has a minimal positive influence, while intrinsic motivation also shows only a minor positive impact; similarly, organizational climate presents a trivial positive effect on employee performance within the savings and loan cooperatives of Rembang District. With an Adjusted R Square value of 0.944, it indicates that 94.4% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by these three independent variables, leaving the remaining 5.6% subject to other unexamined influences not covered in this study.

Abstract

The Israel attacks on Gaza that cause massive civilian victims has raised concerned from people arround the world. In Indonesia, Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) issued a fatwa of boycotting israel related products as a punishment for Israel. This research would like to investigate the effect of the MUI fatwa announcement as well as allegedly affiliated companies’ clarification. The research seeks to test whether there is a difference in the company's share price before and after those announcements with a time window of 7 days and 30 days. The company studied was PT. Unilever Indonesia Tbk, PT. FastFood Indonesia Tbk, PT. Map of Boga Adi Perkasa Tbk. This research uses a paired sample t-test as an analysis tool. The findings of this research include that there was a difference in share prices 30 days before and after the MUI fatwa, but there was no difference in share prices 7 days before and after the MUI fatwa, as well as 7 days and 30 days before and after the clarification.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the competencies of employees in the PPIC department at a private fertilizer company in Gresik Regency and evaluate the existing recruitment and selection processes. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research collected primary data through in-depth interviews with HRD, PPIC Leaders, and employees with and without relevant experience. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Hubman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results reveal a competency gap among PPIC employees, primarily caused by suboptimal recruitment and selection processes, leading to mismatches between candidates' qualifications and job requirements. Employees without relevant experience face difficulties in performing technical tasks, affecting the department's productivity and efficiency. This study emphasizes the need for a more structured recruitment and selection process and targeted formal training to enhance employee competencies.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the feasibility of customers in financing murabahah contracts at PT. SRB XYZ. The method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. Data was collected through interviews with employees, direct observation, and documentation of funding applications for 2023. Analysis was carried out by applying the 5C principles (Character, Capacity, Capital, Collateral, Conditions) as well as triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The research results show that customer eligibility analysis is carried out through several stages, such as document inspection, field survey, credit history analysis using BI Checking, and assessment of customer business capacity. Of the total 897 funding applications in 2023, 79% were successfully disbursed, while the rest were rejected or canceled due to data discrepancies, completeness of documents, and failure to meet financing criteria. This research concludes that implementing strict feasibility analysis procedures can minimize the risk of financing problems.

Abstract

The ineffective warehouse layout at PT. XYZ causes a long picking process and operational inefficiency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. This study focuses on redesigning the layout of the spare parts warehouse using the Class-Based Storage (CBS) method to improve accessibility and minimize picking time. CBS groups items based on movement frequency, ensuring frequently accessed items are easily accessible. By analyzing existing challenges, including unorganized storage and unsystematic item placement, this study produces a new layout design. The results show a reduction in the total picking distance as well as increased efficiency in storing and identifying items, supporting smoother operational workflows and better resource management.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the direct effect of self-concept involvement and communal focus in creating and increasing brand loyalty in the GoPay transaction service company by testing the mediating influence of CEB and SBC. This study uses self-congruity theory to provide a psychological perspective for SBC. Quantitative approach using surveys to predict the relationship between variables. Participants in this study were selected using purposive sampling technique based on certain criteria such as Muslim women in Surakarta and using GoPay services with a total of 200 respondents. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and SmartPLS. The main findings show that self-concept generates loyalty through the mediation of SBC and CEB. In addition, the communal focus variable mediated by SBC and CEB also has a significant effect on loyalty. Since self-concept and communal focus are significantly related to loyalty, it is important for brands to conduct market research and support a brand community.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of leverage, liquidity, company size, and profitability on the financial distress of food and beverage companies listed on the IDX in 2020-2022. Purposive sampling is the sample selection method, the regression data analysis is multiple linear and the type of data is quantitative. This study reveals that company size and leverage have a significant negative impact, while liquidity is positive and insignificant. Profitability has a positive and significant impact on financial distress. This study shows that leverage has a significant negative impact on financial distress. Liquidity has a positive but insignificant impact on financial distress. Profitability has a significant positive impact on financial distress. Company size has a significant negative impact on financial distress.

Abstract

PT. DEF is a construction services company that implements cash and credit sales. In credit sales will generate receivables as a result. This research is motivated by the high number of bad debts in the company, which has a negative impact on cash flow and profitability. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that cause bad debts and to evaluate the accounts receivable control system implemented by PT. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that uncollectible receivables at PT. DEF were caused by a lack of assessment of the debtor's eligibility, the debtor's business failure and the debtor's bad intention not to repay the debt. This research concludes that PT. DEF needs to strengthen the assessment of debtors' creditworthiness regarding their payment history and financial ability to repay their debts.

Abstract

The research focused on optimizing management practices for boosting creativity and innovation in multinational corporations. Rapid technology advancement, shorter product life cycles, dynamic services, and globalisation are becoming increasingly prevalent features of the business environment. The specific objectives were to investigate the role of access to technology on idea conversion rate, analyse digital infrastructure on idea conversion rate and examine the skills development initiatives on the idea conversion rate. Resource-based view theory was adopted for this study. A descriptive survey research design was utilised for the study, and a self-structured questionnaire was used to gather information. The study population was 946 PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc employees and a sample size of 211 was determined using the Raosoft (2004) formula. Multiple linear regression was used to test the hypothesis, and socio-demographic data were analysed using a frequency table and percentage. The result showed a positive correlation of 0.487. The result indicates that access technology has a negative coefficient of -.156 on idea conversion rates, while digital infrastructure and skill development initiatives have positive coefficients of .451 and .574 on idea conversion rates. It was therefore recommended that establishing management rules that are adaptable and sensitive to the ever-changing business landscape is advised for businesses.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of human resource quality and professionalism on employee performance. With a quantitative approach, data was obtained through distributing questionnaires to all employees totaling 31 people as respondents, who also became the population and sample of this study, because it used a census technique where all members of the population were sampled. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that both the quality of human resources and professionalism have a significant influence on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. Human resource quality includes aspects of skills, knowledge, and work attitudes that affect productivity levels, while professionalism includes ethics, responsibility, and efficiency in carrying out tasks. This research emphasizes the importance of developing human resource quality and professionalism as strategic steps to optimize employee performance in an organization.
