Abstract

Agroforestry is a land management system that may be offered in overcoming the effects of land use and also to overcome food problems. PT. Sumatera Alam Anugerah is one of the holders of IUPHHK-HTI located in Gelumbang District, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra Province. To improve the welfare of PT. Sumatera Alam Anugerah is allowed to use land through ansystem agroforestry. The purpose of this study was to determine the benefits of agroforestry and development and the economic conditions of workers of PT. Sumatera Alam Anugerah from activities agroforestry. The method used is a qualitative approach through desk evolution, interviews and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The results of the study show the social and economic conditions of the workers of PT. Sumatra Nature Award is classified as low because of the education of workers at PT. SAA is a majority of elementary school graduates. Based on the results of the Focus Group Discussion with the existence of system agroforestry at PT. SAA makes workers have permanent producers. Agroforestry is useful to improve the economy of the community besides it can also increase soil fertility.

Abstract

This study aims to determine 1) The cost of crop production curly red chili 2) Knowing the basic price received by farmers and Break Even Point (BEP) and R / C ratio. Farming curly red peppers give quite good gains seen from the results of this study are: the average production cost for one growing season Rp 19.663.750, - per hectare with an average production of 1.870 kilograms per hectare. The amount of basic price received by farmers for Rp. 10.515, each kilogram, while the average revenue of Rp.43.010.000,-  kilogram while farmers' income earned by Rp.23.346.250. per kilogram. From the analysis of BEP. BEP obtained by Rp.348.564 with production of 15,15 kg for the R / C ratio of 2.18 which means that every dollar spent farmers will gain acceptance of 2.18 dollars.

Abstract

Eucalyptus Sp is one type of priority which developed in the management of earmarked as a timber fibers estate .This research aims to review the results of the best combination of peat growing media, charcoal and cocopeat most good for growth seeds (E. pellita F.Muell). This study was conducted in November 2019 to January 2020. The methodology using patterns of random design group (RAK). Each treatment group consists of 3 treatment 9, 27 so there is any treatment that were taken 3 sample 81 seeds. Observation variables observed that is high in plant , diameter of the stem , number of leaves , a heavy wetness and heavy dry total , index the quality of seeds , and the percentage of life. The results of the data shows that the treatment of seeds (E. pellita F.Muell) real bearing on tall plants, trunk diameter, the number of, leaves a heavy wetness total, heavy and dry an index of quality seeds and live percentage. The results of the data shows that the treatment of seeds (E. pellita F.Muell) real bearing on tall plants, trunk diameter, the number of, leaves a heavy wetness total, heavy and dry an index of quality seeds and live percentage. Media growing season (peaty soil mixed cocopeat 1: 1) shows the results of that is better and the average rate of the most highest for growth seeds (E. pellita F.Muell) in tall plant , diameter of the stem , number of leaves , a heavy wetness and heavy dry total , index the quality of seeds. To the percentage lived in all media planting fly 100 % seeds no living the dead

Abstract

Waterbirds are migratory birds with the largest number in the world who always migrate to a place/region.. This study aims to determine the types and population of migratory and residents waterbirds(waders)  on the Semenanjung Banyuasin SPTN region II Berbak and Sembilang National Parks, Kabupaten Banyuasin This study uses the Point Transect method, the number of bird populations is recorded directly and through estimates using the Block method. Based on observations, it was found that there were 3.743 water birds consisting of 3.240 migrant species and 503 resident species. From this number, after being identified, it is known that there are 20 species of migratory waterbirds and 11 species of resident waterbirds.

Abstract

To overcome the problem of land degradation due to mining is reclamation (revegetation). This study aims to analyze the level of diversity of vegetation types in post-coal mining reclamation land in 2009, 2012 and 2015. Identification and measurement of vegetation parameters using the path or transect method of analyzing vegetation data and species diversity. The potential level of vegetation species diversity shows that the diversity index value of vegetation species in the 2009 planting year is relatively low, namely at the understorey level, seedlings and saplings, at the pole level and trees are classified as moderate with a value of 1.65. Whereas the rare type is relatively low, only the seedling level is classified as medium with a diversity value of 1.52. The index value for the diversity of vegetation types in 2012 for the thick type was relatively low, only at the pole level, which was classified as medium with a value of 1.66. In the relatively low sparse type only the level of understorey, seedlings and saplings can be calculated with the highest diversity value of 1.55. The value of the diversity index for vegetation types in the 2015 planting year for thick and sparse types was relatively low with the highest diversity index value of 1.04.
