Abstract

Cockroaches are still the biggest parasite causing health problems in the world. The type of cockroach commonly found in the human environment includes the American cockroach (Periplaneta Americana). One way to control cockroaches is by using vegetable insecticides, such as soursop leaf extract. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of soursop leaf extract on the death of American cockroaches (Periplaneta Americana). Type of Pre-Experiment Research with research design that is After Only Design. The population and sample of this study used 45 American cockroaches (Periplaneta Americana). The results of soursop leaf extract treatment of American cockroaches (Periplaneta Americana) with a concentration of 20% obtained the number of cockroach deaths as many as 15 tails, then 25% concentration obtained the number of cockroach deaths as many as 15 tails, and 30% obtained the number of deaths as many as 15 tails in 3 different treatments. The conclusion of this study on the death of American cockroaches (Periplaneta Americana) using extracts with the most effective time for the death of American cockroaches (Periplaneta Americana) occurred at 8 o'clock, at 10 o'clock, and at 12 o'clock. Suggestions in this study are to be able to utilize soursop leaf extract as a natural insecticide that is more environmentally friendly and to further research can conduct further research to find more effective concentrations of soursop leaf extract

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence Value Co-Creation, Destination Image, and Flexibility of Tour Packages on tourists' visiting decisions in the Bonjeruk Tourism Village, with Tourist Preferences as a moderating variable. The approach used in this research is quantitative, where data is collected through distributing Likert scale questionnaires online to tourists who have visited the Bonjeruk Tourism Village, using the technique purposive sampling. The collected data is then analyzed using statistical calculations to test the relationship between variables. The research results show that Value Co-Creation And Destination Image has a significant positive influence on tourists' visiting decisions. Although Tour Package Flexibility can be considered an added value, this variable does not show a significant influence on visiting decisions, which may be due to the dominance of other factors such as tourist attraction and destination image. In addition, Tourist Preferences have been proven to moderate the influence Destination Image on the decision to visit, but did not have a significant effect in moderating the relationship between Value Co-Creation and Flexibility of Tour Packages on visiting decisions. This finding proves and provides novelty to previous research Destination Image proven to have a significant positive influence on tourists' visiting decisions, both directly and after being moderated by Tourist Preferences. Meanwhile, though Value Co-Creation has a positive role, Tourist Preferences are not able to moderate its influence on visiting decisions. This research also provides a practical contribution where the results of this research can be used by tourism village managers as a reference for designing more effective marketing strategies

Abstract

This study explores the psychological struggles of Mia Thermopolis in The Princess Diaries using Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalytic theory. The analysis focuses on Mia’s anxiety as she transitions from an ordinary teenager to the heir of the Genovian throne. Freud’s model of the id, ego, and superego is used to understand the conflict between Mia’s personal desires and societal expectations. Her id craves a normal teenage life, while her superego demands that she fulfill her royal duties. The ego attempts to balance these opposing forces, leading to intense anxiety and self-doubt. Furthermore, the study examines Mia’s use of defense mechanisms such as repression and sublimation to cope with her psychological distress. Through a qualitative approach, this research highlights how unresolved inner conflicts shape Mia’s character development, offering a deeper understanding of anxiety in young adult literature

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding means that the baby only receives breast milk. No other liquids or solid foods are given, not even water except oral rehydration solution, or vitamin, mineral or medication drops/syrups. A mother's low education means she is slow in adopting new knowledge, especially about matters related to breastfeeding patterns. The problem of providing exclusive breastfeeding is related to the low understanding of mothers, families and society about exclusive breastfeeding. This type of research is an analytical observational research type with a descriptive analytical quantitative research approach using a cross sectional design, data collection methods by distributing questionnaires to determine the mother's level of knowledge regarding exclusive breastfeeding. The research sample was mothers who had toddlers in the Kalumata Community Health Center Working Area, namely 92 respondents. Data analysis uses Chi-square and the next process only extends to looking for relationships (bivariate) using logistic regression. Based on the research results, variables that have a statistically significant relationship with nutritional status show the variable Exclusive Breastfeeding with the Mother's Knowledge Level in the Kalumata Community Health Center Working Area using the Chi-Square Test, namely (p value = 0.006). Suggestions for the Health Service: It is necessary to improve health programs that focus on peer group intervention, for example by establishing peer educators considering that peer factors also determine attitudes towards exclusive breastfeeding behavior

Abstract

As a form of commitment to realizing inclusive access to modern energy and reducing greenhouse gas emissions to achieve sustainable development goals as stated in the Paris Agreement, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) has designed and implemented various energy cooperation programs at the regional level. Through the ASEAN Plan of Action on Energy Cooperation (APAEC), the ASEAN countries emphasize the regional interconnectivity agenda through infrastructure development projects, one of which is the ASEAN Power Grid (APG). However, there are still several obstacles in the implementation of cooperation under the APAEC framework, namely the absence of a coherent institutional and regulatory framework, as well as differences in tariff, taxes, and energy pricing policies among ASEAN member countries. ASEAN Energy Market Integration (AEMI) is a recommended scheme for strengthening and deepening the established regional energy cooperation under the APAEC framework. This study attempts to analyze Indonesia's readiness to face the discourse on the formation of AEMI, particularly in the electrical energy sector, by using two indicators, namely the harmonization of policies and regulations, and infrastructure development. Using qualitative methods and semi-structured in-depth interview techniques, this study seeks to explore whether the regulations enacted by the Government of Indonesia comply with regional agreements, and to what extent the Government of Indonesia has committed to regional infrastructure development. This study concludes that Indonesia has made efforts to harmonize policies and established agreements on the APG framework with other ASEAN countries. However, Indonesia still needs to map its perception of the need for energy comprehensively and look for the right form of coordination among related institutions to gain more advantages in the ASEAN energy market integration.

Abstract

The creation of the 'Prodigal Son' animation stems from the author's realization of the need for fresh and engaging church teaching media for youth aged 12-17. Current media often lack appeal, as they focus only on storylines without offering deeper engagement. This gap highlights the urgency to develop new media that effectively delivers story essence using the Gestalt MoVS(Movement on Voice and Spirit) visual style. The study addresses how to create animation that fills this gap, applies Gestalt MoVS concepts, and visualizes the 'Prodigal Son' story through this approach. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative method and practice-based research, the process includes literature studies on Gestalt MoVS theory, theological philosophy, hermeneutics, semiotics, VCD (Visual Communication Design) principles, and expert interviews with theologians, animators, media experts, and adolescent psychologists. Media trials with targeted audiences also contribute to the visual analysis. The result is an aesthetically pleasing animation that conveys the story's three main essences—repentance, forgiveness, and gratitude—in a paradoxical configuration, addressing both repentant audiences and those who judge others. The animation offers an innovative solution to engage teens and simplify Bible story delivery, emphasizing an interdisciplinary approach to inspire spiritual understanding and real-life application.
