Abstract

Sales of products achieved by PT Gerbang NTB Emas were not yet optimal. There weresome consumer obstacles and complaints that were occur. Among them were lack of production machineries and skilled manpower, quality of goods under specification and production time is not maximized. One way that can be done is to optimize value creation between consumers and producers. Value created together is expected to provide benefits for both parties. In this study aimed to analyze the process of value co-creation that occurs between the company (PT GNE) and its customers. The research method used is qualitative approach with data collection through interview, observation and documentation. The number of interviewees was five employees and one consumer. The collected data were analyzed with content analysis using NVivo software. The result of this research is that value co-creation at PT GNE can be explained through dialogue, access, risk management and transparency. Value can be interpreted as product innovation, service and strategic policy. By knowing these aspects, the company can maximize value creation along with consumers. Abstract

This study aimed to determining the positioning of the State Museum of West Nusa Tenggara based on visitor’s perception. The research method used was qualitative approach with data collecting through interview, observation and documentation. Informants is selected by accidental sampling technique. Data  from  interviews  with 20  informants  were  analyzed  using content analysis method. The  results  showed  that  the  State  Museum  of  West  Nusa  Tenggara  hada positioning as edutainment with dimensions of value, uniqueness, credibility, sustainability and conformity. The museum should consider the desire and needs of visitors with the main purpose of the museum, which is to present the mission of education as well as entertainment to the public. Thus, the Museum of West Nusa Tenggara is expected to be a place to gain knowledge and experience as well as recreation that reaches all levels of society. The most important contribution of this study is the positioning model of the State Museum of West Nusa Tenggara based on the perception of visitors i.e. edutainment concept to become a pioneer for further empirical research. It is expected that in the future the managerial of West Nusa Tenggara State Museum can increase visit to the museum. Keywords: Museum, positioning, visitor perceptions, edutainment

Abstract

Plastic waste has become people’s main problems in Indonesia, both in cities and rural areas. Sesaot is one of three villages, together with Buwun Sejati and Pakuan Village, developed for sustainable tourist destination. As a tourist icon of Lombok Barat Distric, Sesaot villagers are responsible for keeping the village cleaned. Most people in Sesaot are ignorant of waste management, yet, some efforts are made individually. People are unaware of the economic value of waste management. Waste is percieved as unwanted and discarded residues. Such condition challanges efforts for sustainable tourism. The community service is aimed at directing local communities to participative waste management; encouraging the emergence of collaborative waste management; introducing waste bank model; and initiating the formation of community-based integrated waste management groups. The community service is organised through training and mentoring activities to sellected participants. .  Expected results including; (1) the participants acquire knowledge of economic value of waste; (2) the participants form groups to start-up village waste bank.

Abstract

Abstak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi  mahasiswa tentang kinerja dan harapan atas pelayanan pendidikan serta mengukur tingkat  kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap pelayanan pendidikan di Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Mataram. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode wawancara menggunakan kuesioner. Populasi adalah semua mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis yang masih aktif sebanyak 3.524  orang, dipilih 150 responden sebagai sampel berdasarkan pertimbangan kemudahan (convenience sampling).  Variabel pelayanan pendidikan dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas lima dimensi yaitu Reliabilitas,  daya tanggap, jaminan, empati, dan bukti fisik, yang selanjutnya dijabarkan menjadi 44 indikator.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar mahasiswa (67%) meyatakan bahwa pelayanan pendidikan FEB Unram sudah baik. Pelayanan pendidikan di FEB Unram  memiliki skore rata-rata kinerja sebesar 3,84. Jika dihubungkan antara kinerja dan harapan pelayanan pendidikan pada FEB Unram menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pencapaian harapan pelayanan pendidikan masih di bawah 100% yaitu sebesar 84,5%. Hal ini berarti mahasiswa masih tidak puas atas pelayanan pendidikan FEB Unram. Berdasarkan Diagram Kartesius diperoleh bahwa pelayanan pendidikan FEB Unram kecendrungan berada pada kuadran 2 (dua), yang bermakna semua unsur pelayanan pendidikan harus tetap dipertahankan.

Abstract

This study discusses the variables of taxpayer knowledge, awareness of taxpayers, social environment, SAMSAT Drive Thru system, and quality of service to taxpayer decisions in vehicle tax payments in the East Lombok region. The sample used is the vehicle taxpayer who was moved in East Lombok Regency and taken as many as 100 respondents using the Simple Random Sampling method. The results showed that taxpayers, taxpayer awareness, and the SAMSAT Driving system through positive and significant decisions on transportation tax payments in the East Lombok region, while the social environment and service quality were not significant in influencing taxpayer decisions. The government in this regard (BAPPENDA) can provide complete and scheduled outreach and education on tax regulations that require taxpayers in every environment, because related to the social environment, taxpayers are according to categories that are less conducive. In addition, BAPPENDA must improve its services by providing training and seminars for its employees.

Abstract

This research is aimed at analyzing the correlation between promotion mix and behavior intention with regularity as moderating variable of Wardah consumers in Mataram. This research is quantitative study. The populations are women users of Wardah cosmetics in Mataram. the samples are 190 woman respondents selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis or interaction test as the hypothesis test with the special multiple linear regression in which the regression equation consists of interactional elements (dual or more multiplication of independent variables).The research showed that promotion mix had some significant effects on the behavior intention which meant that the better the promotion mix, including advertisement, sales promotion,  publicity, personal selling, and direct marketing was, the better the behavior intention reflected through loyalty, propensity to switch, willingness to pay more, external response to problem, and internal response to problem was. Religiosity moderated the correlation between promotion mix and behavior intention. This meant that the higher the religiosity was, the stronger the correlation between promotion mix and behavior intention was. Religiosity was a moderating variable that cannot be an independent variable. Keywords: promotion mix, behavior intention, religiousity.

Abstract

Despite the important roleof local entrepreneurs for sustainable tourism, the process of starting up small tourism enterprises remains unclear. The current study is aimed at constructing a start-up model of small tourism enteprise, particularly homestay.Qualitative method was adopted. Data was collected using semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentary. Interviews were made with 6 homestay owners in three tourist destinations in West Lombok Regency. Data was recorded and then analysed using content analysis. The study constructs a start-up model consisting of two phases, orientation and starting phases. The orientation phase elaborates the process of entrepreneurial opportunity recognition, business capital preparation, and  starting preparation. The starting phase describestrial and error process regarding product creation, resource allocations, finance management, and marketing strategies. In the starting phase entrepreneurs have todeal with business competition and business uncertainties. The succes in undertaking the starting phase can lead an entrepreneur into a further business development. But,the fail in going through the starting phase can lead into bankruptcy and/or the situation in which the entrepreneurs have to re-start their business again from the beginning. The study results provide reference for community empowerment, bring theoretical and managerial impacts, and create gap for a further research. Abstract

Understanding community behavior related to the impact of tourism as well as the consequences of these impacts is an important matter to be studied in the effort to develop tourism in the future. The purpose of this study is to analyze the positive impact of tourism felt by residents in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone which can affect their life satisfaction and the willingness of the population to create co-creation values with tourists. The results showed that the positive effects of tourism activities and life satisfaction significantly affected the value of Co Creation, but the positive impact of tourism had a not significant effect on life satisfaction. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of theory, especially tourism marketing from the perspective of local residents. In addition, it can be used as a basis for consideration of policy makers in the development and marketing of tourism in the Mandalika Special Economic area.Keywords : Positive tourism impacts, life satisfaction, co-creation value, Mandalika SEZ

Abstract

 This study aims to find the results of content analysis in determining the pattern of developing halal tourism based community in Geosite Lembah Sembalun. Data collection was colledted through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results of this study obtained 3 categories and 11 themes through open and axial coding processes. In this study, it is stated that the pattern of developing halal tourism based community in Geosite Lembah Sembalun is spontaneous and induced participation obtained from 3 categories of content analysis, namely community participation in involvement phase, degree of participation and community participation in developing halal tourism.Keywords: Content Analysis, Halal Tourism, Pattern, Participation, Geosite Lembah Sembalun

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the typology of first-time voters in determining their political choices in the 2019 legislative elections in Mataram from the perspective of consumer behavior. This research utilised a qualitative-descriptive approach. The informants were 14 first-time voters who were purposively selected according to a number of criteria. The results showed that each typology of voters for legislative candidates in Mataram by first-time voters was related to several types of purchasing decisions by consumers. This paper provides recommendations for candidates in approaching each type of first-time voters. Specific and different strategies had to be prepared by the winning team of candidates before conducting a campaign to take voters' voting rights.Keywords:First-Time Voters, Rational Voters, Critical Voters, Traditional Voters, Skeptic Voters
