This is to ensure the quality of the published manuscripts in the journal. Indonesian Journal of Engagement, Community Services, Empowerment and Development aims to disseminate the results of conceptual thinking and ideas, especially the results of educational research and technology to be realized in the community, including (1) Fields of science, applied, social, economic, cultural, health, ICT development, and administrative services, (2) Training and improvement in the results of educational, agricultural, information and communication, and religious technology (3) Teaching and empowering communities and communities of students, youth, youth and community organizations on an ongoing basis.

Abstract

The term Idul Yatama (Orphans Day) is just an expression of joy for orphans because many people paid attention and compensation to them at that time. The focus of the service is doing religious tourism in one of the historical places in Cirebon City, which is now a religious tourism object, namely Sunyaragi Cave. This community service activity method uses the lecture, discussion and question and answer method. The result of this community service activity is that orphans are equipped with knowledge about one of the historical places in Cirebon, namely Sunyaragi Cave, and giving donations to orphans.

Abstract

This community service activity was based on discussions and observations with teaching staff for children with special needs at SLBN Karanganyar and Sukoharjo, Central Java Province, about difficulties assisting and teaching children with special needs. Based on the results of observations and discussions with teaching staff, the researcher and a servant provide solutions in the form of assisting the motor skills of children with special needs through high-intensity interval training. Motor ability is an essential indicator of fitness for each individual, closely related to the quality of life. At the same time, high-intensity interval training is an alternative in the form of a solution to improve movement abilities, especially for children with special needs. This community service aims to provide understanding and development of science and technology to teaching staff for children with special needs to improve motor skills through high-intensity interval training. The methods used in community service are documentation, interviews, and observations. The results of this study indicate that one way to improve motor skills is through high-intensity interval training

Abstract

The problem of interest and inculcating attitudes in learning during the new habituation period from online to offline requires a suitable approach method according to the characteristics of the growth and development of students at the elementary school level. This service aims to provide the application of science resulting from the development of faith-based circuit learning models in physical education, sports, and health. The method used is to provide socialization and implementation to the Muhammadiyah Elementary School teachers for the Baturan Special Program. This dedication resulted in applying the circuit learning method based on the creed of mini volleyball in grade 4 elementary school. Circuit learning consists of 3 posts, and each post consists of 3 learning approaches by playing. Each game has AKIDAH values (Analytical, Creative, Innovative, Demonstrative, Active, and Humanist). Implementations in circuit-based learning include 1) games without tools (black-green, cu, fishnets); 2) games with tools (shoot deer, bowling bottles, grab me); 3) mini-volleyball approach games (upper pass, underpass, underserve). The faith-based circuit learning model increases participation, interest, and motivation in participating in learning in elementary schools

Abstract

Taxes are a source of income for local governments, where the government uses tax revenues to build facilities and infrastructure for the community's public interest. Given the importance of the role of the community in bearing state financing, it is demanded that public awareness, both private and corporate, be required to pay taxes. The hotel, entertainment and restaurant sector is one of the largest sources of tax absorption. Where is the restaurant sector most major wherein the 2020 pandemic became a sector whose realization exceeded the target in Banyumas Regency. The hotel tax is one of the two tax sectors that did not reach the target in 2020. The method used in the implementation of this community service activity was lectures and discussions. This activity results in the people in Banyumas Regency, especially hotel and restaurant owners, getting a lot of input and information about the importance of taxes, calculating hotel and restaurant taxes, and paying hotel and restaurant taxes. In addition, it is hoped that this activity can increase the awareness of hotel and restaurant owners regarding the importance of taxes and the obligation to pay hotel and restaurant taxes by the provisions of the legislation

Abstract

Savings and investment is one of the indicators in the country's economy that can determine the rate of economic growth. Saving money today is important. Saving money has started to be instilled early by some parents to their children. Because savings have an important role to play in the future. By instilling saving to children early, it is expected to be able to regenerate the habit of saving in the younger generation of this devotion to conduct socialization activities about saving movement to students of madrasah diniyah awaliyah in kp. Sidilem village telaga luhur, district waringin kurung, district serang-banten. This activity aims to provide knowledge and understanding about financial literacy through saving, to foster interest in saving early so that children are used to saving,as well as by giving examples of how to decorate apiggy bank with origami paper. This activity is carried out face-to-face (on the spot training) using the method of delivering socialization materials with counseling techniques, questions and answers, quizzes, piggy bank creations, as well as by adding games. Children's activities result in increasing knowledge about benefits and tips and knowing the making of piggy banks from simple materials. The socialization activities were carried out enthusiastically, as evidenced by their communicative in terms of question and answer during the event. This activity is expected to be continued by the school and also in the surrounding community and able to regenerate saving habits in the next generation of Indonesian youth who are ultimately able to contribute to the nation and the country

Abstract

Coronavirus is very impactful for people who have lower or medium smoking. Many businesses are experiencing bankruptcy due to unstable sales price conditions, declining consumer demand, revenues than usual before this virus outbreak occurred, and increased production materials. The purpose of this community service activity is to support and strengthen the Covid-19 prevention and prevention program conducted by the Central Government and Local Government, implementing service activities during the Covid-19 pandemic, educating the public about the dangers and ways of preventing Covid-19 through social media, training students to learn with the community to participate and contribute to the prevention and unemployment of Covid-19. Socialization about the dangers of Covid-19 can improve and provide insight and knowledge on the importance of complying with health protocols in daily life to avoid the corona outbreak. With social media, there are many advantages obtained by MSMEs traders. The use of social media can increase revenue, and marketing is much more effective and efficient

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze how the Religious Values and Beliefs of the Ngaju Dayak Community in Tumbang Liting Village, Katingan Hilir District, Katingan Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data sources are primary data and secondary data. The primary data sources in this study were the Village Head/Village Secretary, Religious Leaders, and the local community. Secondary data is data directly collected by researchers as a support from the first source. It can also be said that data is arranged in the form of documents. Secondary data is also data obtained indirectly through intermediary media (obtained and recorded by others). Books, Journals, Internet to find valid data. The data collection procedure uses observation, interviews, and documentation while the data analysis includes: Data Collection (Data Collection), Data Reduction (Data Reduction), Data Display (Data Presentation) and Conclusion Drawing (Withdrawal of Conclusions). Based on the results of this study, it shows that the system of religion and belief in Tumbang Liting Village is still very strong and maintained until now. There are 3 religions in Tumbang Liting Village, namely Islam, Christianity, Hindu Kaharingan. For those who are Muslim, the worship system is joined at the Ainul Yaqin Mosque ± 4 KM. Christianity consists of two congregations, namely the Kalawa Church and the Katunen Church. Hinduism in the Temple (Balai). The Islamic death ritual ceremony joins the Kasongan Ainul Yaqin Mosque, the Christian death ceremony includes a 3 night waiting service for the body, burial, and a consolation service. Hindu Kaharingan The death ceremony is carried out for 3 days, the ritual activities, the activities of taking and transferring the bones, then transferred to sandung for 7 days. The attitude of tolerance in Tumbang Liting is very good and mutual respect, respect, if there is a mutual cooperation activity in the community, this is hereby maintained, even though we are now in the modern Technology Age

Abstract

Community Service Activity itself aims to provide insight and knowledge about financial planning, as follows; a. Investment Understanding; b. Personal financial planning; c. MSME financial planning. The targets in this Community Service Program are residents of Cijantung Village, East Jakarta, especially Millennials. In addition, with this program, it is hoped that a more intensive friendship will be established between millennials in the Cijantung village and the Faculty of Economics and Business, YARSI University. In carrying out this community service program, the stages of the planned activities are; first, make an approach with the Karang Taruna Cijantung Village. Second, Implementation of training activities. Third, the final stage of this activity is evaluation and reflection on the success of the activities carried out. Based on the evaluation results, in general, millennials in Cijantung have been able to have good financial behavior. It can be seen that the understanding of millennials has increased after the training was carried out. From this activity, it is hoped that there will be an increase in the understanding of millennials in Cijantung Village regarding financial planning and ways to invest profitably

Abstract

Human physical movement space has increasingly limited the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic online businesses are increasingly mushrooming in the community. Nowadays, it is getting familiar term e-commerce which stands for electronic commerce, which means trading electronically. With this e-commerce many many berhingga-bagi existing, it can not be dipupong that e-commerce provides a good enough for angkatanni. Growing e-commerce is also inseparable from the name of the marketplace. One type of business that began to have many marketplaces is Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Lialang village, located in Taktakan-Kota Serang Subdistrict, has many MSME umkm actors engaged in production, handicrafts, and many other productions. Which method is the way of community activities is training and mentoring that berkurun. This activity is the community in Keluarahan Lialang, especially UMKM actors subdistrict a lot of information and education about e-commerce and know various types of marketplaces, benefits and which ones become dilim online through the marketplace as well. In addition, this activity can be a business of MSMEs for their products broader existing marketplace and innovate and change in its more advanced and growing business
