Abstract

The internet network can facilitate the learning process packaged in digital content. The use of the internet as a learning medium has become commonplace among students. With the internet as a learning resource, it is easier for us to access various sources of information. Therefore, it is necessary to measure and analyze the internet network to ensure that the network used does not hinder activities that require internet access. This research aims to analyze the performance of the internet service at the Islamic University of Indragiri using the Quality of Service (QoS) method. Measurements were conducted using the Wireshark application on 7 WiFi networks with 4 types of websites as testing targets. The four main parameters are throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter. The research results show that during peak hours, the throughput at campus 1 and campus 2 is relatively low with a value of index 2, while during off-peak hours, the throughput at both campuses is at index 4. Packet loss at campus 1 during peak and off-peak hours shows low numbers with index 4. However, at campus 2, there is an increase in packet loss during peak hours with index 4. During peak hours, the delay at campus 1 is at index 4, and the delay at campus 2 is at index 3. During off-peak hours, the delay at both campuses is at index 3 and 4. During peak and off-peak hours, the jitter at both campuses is at index 4. Based on the analysis results, it can be concluded that the WiFi network at the Islamic University of Indragiri has good performance. However, better network management is needed to maintain optimal performance during peak hours.

Abstract

One of the most common uses of Internet technology is in the field of education. The utilization of the Internet in education has long been employed by SMK Negeri 1 Tembilahan. This school utilizes internet connectivity as a tool and means to support the teaching and learning process. Therefore, the school must provide a reliable network service to ensure smooth learning experiences. This research aims to evaluate the quality of internet connectivity at SMK Negeri 1 Tembilahan using the Quality of Service (QoS) method with parameters such as throughput, delay, packet loss, and jitter. The study also analyzes the internet quality in each department of SMK Negeri 1 Tembilahan during peak and off-peak hours, involving both teachers and students as users. With a total of 1,307 users, the school utilizes an internet connection from an Indihome provider with a bandwidth of up to 300 Mbps. The test results indicate that the throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter values are rated at index 4, categorized as "Very Good." However, it is worth noting that the throughput value for student users in the Design Communication Visual and Computer Network Engineering departments is rated at index 2, categorized as "Fair." These findings provide valuable information and insights for the school to assess the quality of internet services at SMK Negeri 1 Tembilahan in supporting teaching and learning activities. By addressing the identified issues, such as the lower throughput in specific departments, the school can take appropriate measures to enhance the internet infrastructure and improve the learning experience for students. This research serves as a valuable resource for the school administration to make informed decisions and improvements regarding the quality of internet connectivity, ultimately benefiting the teaching and learning process at SMK Negeri 1 Tembilahan

Abstract

The Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) is an organization primarily focused on regional taxation matters. Bapenda City of Pekanbaru used WebGIS to view spatial data related to taxes. The WebGIS system used in Bapenda is desktop-based. The users of this system must engage directly with GIS hardware in order to get information about taxes, which is a disadvantage of this system. Furthermore, the WebGIS utilized by Bapenda currently relies on WMS (Web Map Service). However, due to the extensive data processing requirements, WMS is not deemed suitable. WMS may result in broken labels, causing confusion among users, and it also has limitations when it comes to styling capabilities. This study's goal is to recommend the use of GIS, specifically the GeoServer and PostGIS programs, for efficient data storage table administration and map digitalization. A Geographic Information System using a Vector Tile Server is the end result of this system. Gaining access to a spatial data infrastructure that works with Vector Tile Server is considered to be beneficial since it will allow spatial data to be presented and styled without placing a heavy load on the client. Implementing GIS, especially GeoServer and PostGIS applications, may make it easier for Pekanbaru City to audit and collect taxes, which will make these responsibilities easier for Pekanbaru City Bapenda.

Abstract

The increase in counterfeit beef sales is in line with the growing demand for meat in Indonesia. Counterfeit meat, namely mixed beef and pork and pure pork sold as beef, can be distinguished using image classification. This study classifies pork, mixed, and beef using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model of the EfficientNet-B0 architecture. This study uses the image augmentation method to augment the image with the aim of improving classification accuracy. The total original image is 900, while the total augmented image is 9000. The image data is divided using two data division ratios, namely 80:20 and 90:10. The highest classification accuracy results were obtained by a model using augmented images and a data division ratio of 90:10, with a combination of Adamax hyperparameter optimizer, Swish hidden activation, and a learning rate of 0.1, with an accuracy of 97.11%, precision of 97.14%, recall of 97.11%, and F1-Score of 97.11%. Meanwhile, the highest accuracy of the model using the original image is achieved by the model using a 90:10 division ratio with a combination of hyperparameter optimizer Adamax, hidden activation ReLU, and learning rate 0.01 with the results of accuracy 96.78%, precision 96.92%, recall 96.78%, and F1-Score 96.78%. The results show that the use of image augmentation methods can improve classification accuracy.

Abstract

An assurance case is a document created to enable the exchange of information related to system safety and security among various system stakeholders, including suppliers, acquirers, operators, and regulators. It is essential to review such assurance cases to ensure their validity. The Structured Assurance Case Metamodel (SACM) is one of the languages that can be used to communicate assurance cases, and it offers various variants and expressive notations to facilitate this task. While creating assurance cases, it is necessary to consider dialectical notation with CounterArguments and CounterEvidence to explain situations where an assurance case has an incorrect value or can be countered. SACM classifies this notation as dialectical, and it is useful for reviewing and developing assurance cases. However, despite the usefulness of this approach, there is limited research on its effectiveness. Therefore, this study aims to explain dialectical notation in the SACM assurance case language and develop existing SACM applications. The application was developed to provide users who are already familiar with assurance cases, especially SACM, with a practical way of introducing dialectical notation. By doing this, we hope to expand the use of SACM and improve its effectiveness in communicating assurance cases among system stakeholders.

Abstract

Currently, technology is widely used to assist in business operations. Various fields have utilized it, such as the property sector. Typically, developers managing databases use SQL databases, which involve related queries. However, with technological advancements, developers are interested in using NoSQL databases to manage data in order to cope with the increasing volume of data. NoSQL database management is well-suited for handling large databases and offers various data models, including graph-based, document-oriented, column-oriented, and key-value. The results of this research indicate that implementing NoSQL concepts in property management software can improve the efficiency and performance of property data management. The use of NoSQL databases allows for flexible schemas, horizontal scalability, high performance, and global scalability. Consequently, this software can provide users with convenience, enabling them to enhance operational efficiency in property management

Abstract

The SEAL Learning Management System (LMS SEAL) is an online learning platform owned by the SEAL independen study program which has the function of bridging communication between mentors and students during the independent study program. This Learning Management System was created and developed with the aim of making it easier for SEAL independent study students to view material provided by SEAL mentors so that they can be studied anytime and anywhere. The SEAL LMS has not been utilized properly and optimally by SEAL independent study participants during the program, therefore this research was conducted using the HEART Framework to measure user experience (UX) originating from SEAL independent study participants. In this study all HEART variables were used, namely Happiness, Engagement, Adoption, Retention, Task Success to find appropriate results for consideration in the development of LMS SEAL. The data collection process was carried out by distributing questionnaires in the form of g-forms which were distributed to independent study participants batch 1 and batch 2 with a total of 120 students. All results from the questionnaire obtained were tested for validity and reliability tests and confirmed that they met valid and reliable criteria for all items. This study has a Goal-Signal-Metric set that determines the success rate of all variables. User experience based on the HEART method obtained the results of the Happiness variable of 77.10%, Engagement of 77.60%, Adoption of 79.50%, Retention of 80.70%, and Task Success of 77.20%. The results showed that only one variable met the Goal-Signal-Metrics Set which meant that LMS SEALs had to be further developed to improve the quality of LMS SEAL

Abstract

Technology to develop rapidly in the education sector has been implemented to facilitate the implementation of learning processes. One example of its implementation is the use of Computer-Based Tests (CBT). CBT is a testing method where the arrangement of each answer response is stored and evaluated electronically. This research aims to evaluate the user experience in using the Test.co.id application and Quizizz application as Computer-Based Test (CBT) applications in SMAN 15 Surabaya. The main issue identified is the use of the Test.co.id application, accompanied by the introduction of the Quizizz application used by teachers for daily exams and quizzes. This does not align with the primary purpose of creating the Test.co.id application, which is to familiarize students with CBT applications in preparation for the national examination. This research evaluates the comparative user experience based on measurement scales using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). The UEQ method consists of six measurement scales and 26 question items as instruments in the questionnaire. By using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique, the required sample size for this study is a minimum of 106 respondents. The results of this research indicate that both the Test.co.id and Quizizz applications have a positive impression with a fairly good average score on the six scales: attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, accuracy, stimulation, and novelty, where each scale achieves an average value greater than 0.8. It can be concluded that the average values of both applications do not differ significantly. Overall, both applications have a positive impression on users in terms of user experience

Abstract

The queue application at Bhayangkara Hospital Surabaya is a mobile-based application designed to facilitate patients in registering for appointments at the hospital. Data was obtained through a survey conducted among application users and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS Version 26. The objective of this research is to determine the factors that influence the acceptance of the mobile application by users or patients of Bhayangkara Hospital Surabaya based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework. Thus, this study conducted an acceptance analysis by identifying the factors that affect the acceptance of the Mobile Application of Bhayangkara Hospital Surabaya. The method used in this research is the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) using six main variables: Complexity, Voluntariness, Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Attitude Toward Using, Behavioral Intention to Use, and Actual Use. The chosen technique for this research is simple random sampling. The sample size taken was 380 respondents from a population of 4935 users. Based on the results of the data analysis conducted, it can be concluded that out of the ten hypotheses in this study, the voluntariness variable does not have an effect. Therefore, complexity, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude toward using, and behavioral intention to use an information system are factors that influence users to continue using the system

Abstract

Data mining is the process of collecting and managing information that aims to extract important data from data. Currently data mining is used by companies to manage data but there are still many companies engaged in the livestock sector that have not used data mining to manage data. One of these companies is PT.PX which is a broiler company located in Riau, precisely in Sungai Pagar. The ever-increasing need for broiler chickens makes it difficult for chicken breeders to produce chicken according to market demand in each period. Unpredictable demand for broiler chickens makes breeders confused to determine how many chicks to produce. PT.PX still manages data using Microsoft Excel so the process is still very long and it is not certain to get accurate results. PT.PX also does not have a system for predicting broiler yields to find out how many chicken populations there will be in the next period. The existence of this data mining can help breeders to find out the number of populations to be produced for the next period. In predicting broiler yields, estimation methods can be used using multiple linear regression algorithms. Multiple linear regression was used to determine the relationship between feed, weight and age of chickens and chicken population. The information used in this research is information on harvested chickens obtained from 2019 to 2022. The results of multiple linear regression calculations at PT.PX obtained broiler yields of 12,217 populations
