Abstract

The many variants of subjects with varying difficulty levels cause some students to have difficulties understanding the material. Some students who find it challenging start attending tutoring provided by teachers or various tutoring centers and purchase practice question books to better grasp the material they haven't mastered. One of the books is the Wangsit learning book. Wangsit is one of the best-selling exercise books among high school 12th students in Indonesia. Wangsit provides a learning aid called the Wangsit tryout mobile application, which serves as an app for conducting practice tests and providing video learning materials. However, there are user interface issues related to the application, such as the placement of several buttons on the tryout page being less than optimal, which requires learners to become more accustomed to it and the score page of the tryout lacks clear information about the test results. Usability measurement was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) with 8 respondents who were 12th-grade students and had Wangsit om Jero’s book. The obtained System Usability Scale score was 43.75. This study aims to redesign the interface display of the Tryout Wangsit mobile application to make the Wangsit tryout mobile application suited to the learners' needs by using the learner-centered design method, which focuses on learners' learning experiences. The objective was to improve the usability of the Tryout Wangsit mobile application and align it with learners' needs. The study resulted in a redesigned interface display for the Tryout Wangsit Mobile application using the learner-centered design method. As a result, the application achieved an improved System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 83.12.

Abstract

In April 2020, Shopee launched a delivery service known as ShopeeFood. This service has grown into a large service platform that is in demand by various age groups. Regarding the ShopeeFood phenomenon, the public provides feedback in the form of ratings and opinions on various social media, one of which is Twitter media. The steps taken to understand the perceptions or sentiments of the ShopeeFood community, data are collected through social media and analyzed using the Naive Bayes Classifier method with the Chi feature. Rectangle. Tweet data is retrieved via the Twitter API using key terms related to ShopeeFood. The dataset contains 1050 data divided into three sentiment classes: positive, negative and neutral. The test results use Chi Square on the Naive Bayes Classifier method with a test ratio of 90:10% and produces an accuracy value of 65.71%, a precision value of 95,00 %, and the recall value is 90,00% and the test results use TF-IDF with a test ratio of 90:10% and produce an accuracy value of 79.05%, a precision value of 95,00%, and a 90,00% recall value. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the TF-IDF feature gets higher accuracy than the Chi Square feature in the Naive Bayes Classifier method and is successful in classifying tweets with positive, negative, and neutral sentiments.

Abstract

Riau is a province that has quite good potential for new tourist attractions and tourist destinations that can be developed further. Because there are quite a lot of tourist attractions in Riau, it is difficult for the community to choose recommendations for tourist attractions that suit the wishes of the user. Therefore, the researcher created a recommendation system to assist the community in choosing the tourist attractions they want to visit. In developing this recommendation system, the Simple Additive Weighting method is used, where this method ranks alternative tourist destinations according to predetermined criteria values. The criteria offered by the system are distance, cost, facilities, time and accessibility. The system created can help people to choose the right tourist destination. Web-based built system. The recommendation system for tourist attractions in Riau Province with the Simple Additive Weighting method has succeeded in assisting users in selecting tourist attractions according to predetermined criteria values. Then the best recommendation for tourist attractions on behalf of Ulo Kasok tourist attractions is obtained with the final result value ( 88.80), Based on the UAT test, the results obtained were 83%, which means that the user really agreed

Abstract

Riau Province is one of the provinces that has been equipped with various recreational facilities, sports facilities and tours that are very interesting to visit. With the increasing number of facilities and tourist attractions that can be visited, the hotel is one place that is needed as a lodging facility. Hotels in Riau Province are also growing very rapidly. Riau provides so many choices of hotels scattered in various locations with various hotel classes, rental prices, facilities and services. The system is a set of components and combined elements, organized and collaborative components to achieve a certain goal, namely providing information. AHP is a decision support model that will describe complex multi-factor or multi-criteria problems into a hierarchy. The SAW method is known as the term weighted sum. The basic concept of the SAW method is to find the weighted sum of the performance ratings for each alternative on all attributes. The results obtained from this system are systems that are made into the good category by applying the AHP and SAW methods. The Hotel Recommendation System in Riau Province with the AHP and SAW Methods can help the Tourism Office and the community in selecting hotels. The Hotel Recommendation System using the AHP and SAW methods has been able to produce hotel recommendations in Riau Province according to needs and based on criteria determined by the user. Based on the Black Box testing, it shows that the system can run well with its functions, and with the UAT testing that has been carried out, a result of 82% is obtained where the results fall into the strongly agree category

Abstract

The development of molecular biology technology produces large amounts of omics data. Integration of omics data is useful for the analysis of biological processes at the molecular level, such as protein expression, drug mechanisms against diseases, and mechanisms of inheritance. This study aims to integrate protein molecular biology data through protein-protein interactions (PPIs), pathways, modules and orthology, to calculate pathway scores. The score calculation uses the degree calculation on the graph concept. Proteins, pathways, modules and orthologs act as nodes, while the interactions between them act as edges. Furthermore, according to the concept of a graph, nodes with a high degree represent nodes that have an important role in a graph. Based on this concept, the most important pathway related to a protein is the pathway with the highest degree in a multipartite graph formed by PPIs, modules, orthologs and pathways. The output of this study is a package in the R language to integrate data on molecular biology of proteins, pathways, modules and orthology, then displays the pathways that have the most role in protein based on the order of the highest score. This package was tested using protein Insulin (INS) and Xanthine dehydrogenase (XDH) inputs. The results of calculating the score on the pathway for INS produced the pathway with the highest score, namely MAPK signaling pathway (0.18) lane 1, Pathways in cancer (0.137) lane 2, Ubiquitin mediated proteolysis (0.28) lane 3. XDH protein input produces Purine metabolism pathway (0.67) lane 1, Metabolic pathways (0.48) lane 2 and Purine metabolism (0.23) lane 3. These results can be used for enrichment analysis regarding the relationship between proteins and pathways.

Abstract

In 2020, the Covid-19 virus caused a pandemic that made most people more active on social media, such as Twitter. Twitter has a tweet feature allows its users to send short messages about how they feel and think at that moment. Based on someone's tweet, we know their mindset, and it allows us to know the personality of that person. One model of personality is the Big Five personality. Big Five divides personality into five classes: openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism. Several ways can be done to determine personality, such as taking a psychological test. However, it can take a long time and total concentration. Therefore, this study conducted a Big Five personality detection on Twitter users using the Gradient Boosted Decision Tree (GBDT) method. This study aims to obtain a high accuracy value by weighting it through the TF-IDF method and using sentiment and emotion features. This study utilized an Indonesian dataset that was collected through Twitter API. This study consists of two scenario tests, with the first scenario test being carried out with an imbalanced dataset and the second scenario test being carried out by applying the oversampling technique with SMOTE method to handle the imbalanced dataset. By applying SMOTE method, this study obtained a high accuracy with a value of 60.36%.

Abstract

The importance of healthcare professionals in ensuring that patients always receive the best care makes hospitals meticulous in selecting their workforce. When choosing healthcare professionals, subjective factors often come into play, as these factors have not been well-defined in the decision-making process when evaluating potential healthcare workers. Therefore, it is possible for hospitals to make mistakes in selecting potential healthcare professionals, and this can have significant implications for the hospital. Consequently, it is necessary to adhere to established criteria when selecting future healthcare workers. Moreover, the defined criteria and the manual calculation of criteria by the hospital further require a considerable amount of time to make accurate decisions. The objective of this research is to develop a website-based system that can assist the UPT. RSUD Mokoyurli Buol in making quick and accurate decisions in selecting healthcare personnel. The Decision Support System (DSS) is a system that can solve ranking problems quickly and determine the highest to lowest values in a selection process. The final outcome of this research is a system that can make decisions in selecting hospital staff using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Black box testing ensures the compatibility of the application's functional events, while white box testing verifies the internal logic of the system. Therefore, it can be concluded that the system's logic functions effectively.

Abstract

SISMADU is a web-based application service that is used to send letters electronically. In implementing the use of SISMADU there are several units that do not utilize applications in electronic mail services. But on the other hand this application is applied by various units on an ongoing basis. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the factors that influence user behavior in the use of an integrated incoming mail information system as a media for electronic mail services at the Haji Regional General Hospital in East Java Province using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). involving performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating condition, behavioral intention, and use behavior variables. The population in this study is system users as many as 70 users. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling, because it involves the use of all members of the population as a sample. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to application users, data were analyzed using SEM-PLS. After conducting a thorough data analysis, it can be concluded that based on these findings, there are conclusions that can be drawn, namely the discovery of factors that significantly influence behavioral intention, namely performance expectations and business expectations. Meanwhile, social influence factors were found to have no significant effect on behavioral intention. Then, factors that significantly influence use behavior include behavioral intention and facilitating condition factors

Abstract

Mentoring is a solution that helps to repeat lessons taught at school. The selection of extracurricular lessons includes two factors, namely motivational factors because students choose extracurricular lessons because of low school grades, and consequential motivational factors, students choose extracurricular lessons because of encouragement from outside and invitations from friends. . In determining the best tutoring, a Decision Support System (DSS) is needed. DSS is a solution-based technology system that provides a variety of information to support decision making, both in semi-structured and unstructured situations where there is no certainty about how decisions should be made. To overcome this problem, in this study the authors used the Weighted Aggregation and Product Assessment (WASPAS) method and the Ranked Order Centroid (ROC) method. The WASPAS method performs a ranking process according to attributes with different weights and the ROC method for weighting. The research showed that Bimbel Virgo has the highest priority with a value of 1.093 as the institution of choice in determining the best tutoring, because it gets the highest rating compared to other alternatives

Abstract

The Aplikasi Pendidikan RS Bhayangkara that implemented at RS Bhayangkara H.S. Samsoeri Surabaya is a website-based Learning Management System (LMS) that supports educational activities such as practical training and research conducted at the hospital. The application aims to facilitate information exchange among students, mentors, and the education coordination team (kordik). During the implementation of this application, there have been challenges faced by the developers, namely limitations in accommodating user needs during the transition of practical training locations. On the other hand, users have encountered issues with the system's quality, such as slow loading times when uploading documents. The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that influence the success of The Aplikasi Pendidikan RS Bhayangkara by applying the DeLone & McLean model, serving as input for developers to enhance the application. Data obtained from 98 respondents will be analyzed using the SEM-PLS method. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that the Perceived Usefulness variable is influenced by Information Quality, Instructor Quality, and Learner Quality. Meanwhile, the Perceived Satisfaction variable is influenced by Instructor Quality, Learner Quality, System Quality, and Service Quality. The influence of the Actual Use variable comes from Information Quality, Instructor Quality, and Learner Quality. The findings of this study reveal that only one factor, student satisfaction as a user, plays a significant role in achieving the success of The Aplikasi Pendidikan RS Bhayangkara in terms of the benefits derived from its usage.
