Abstract

Education is an asset for successfully building human resources in competition in the digital age. The world of education must increase the effectiveness of building education in this country in accordance with increasingly sophisticated technological advances such as the Information System for Research and Community Service (SIP). SIP is used to assist organizations in reporting work processes as operational achievements of external organizations as well as enabling task completion. The main problem with the SIP website is that it has never been evaluated in terms of usability since the system was used. This study aims to evaluate the usability of SIP websites using Heuristic Evaluation and Human-Centered Design. Usability is a very important factor for website acceptance. The Heuristic Evaluation uses 3 evaluators to assess the SIP website and uses 10 Heuristic Evaluation principles. The Human Centered Design method is used as a tool for developing designs and interactive systems that focus on user needs. From the results of the initial Heuristic Evaluation carried out by 3 evaluators by producing 21 problems as a basis for improving solution designs using prototypes. Furthermore, the second heuristic evaluation resulted in a decrease in problems, namely 3 problems located in the Heuristic code H1 Visibility Of System Status. This problem is a new problem found by evaluator 1. After doing a comparison, it can be concluded that the evaluation of the solution design resulted in a reduction of 18 problems from the 21 problems found to 3 problem findings found in the solution design evaluation

Abstract

Discrete event simulation is widely used to evaluate the performance of a queuing system. In those simulations, the data distribution and parameters are determined to approximate the real conditions of the processes that occur in a queuing system. However, the queuing systems with their data distribution and parameters have so far been very specific to a particular system, not general to other systems that run a similar service and own a similar system structure, for example puskesmas, B and C. This research analyzes how much differences the queuing system produces when the system uses different parameters for their data distribution. The analysis is carried out by building the M/M/1 and M/M/2 queue models, then benchmarking several parameters of the exponential distribution and triangular distribution which are used to generate the time lag between arrivals of queue objects and service times. An increase of 60 in the exponential distribution parameter (1 minute patient arrival rate) causes the average number of patients in the queue to decrease by 4 people, and the frequency of large queues to decrease by 5 times. A difference of 0.5 in the triangular distribution parameter (faster service time 0.5 minutes) results in a reduction in waiting time of 0 - 0.2 minutes, and has an impact on the frequency of queues and large queues which can be reduced up to 9 times. Meanwhile, the difference in the number of servers which is one and two on the system can reduce the queue size from 16 to zero

Abstract

One of the factors causing errors in inventory is the lack of a support system for processing drug sales. Data processing of sales, purchases, and drug supplies is still done manually. This causes medicines to be stored in warehouses for too long or even expired. The web-based drug inventory application is designed to speed up the work process and overcome these problems. This design uses PHP, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, XAMPP, and MySQL Workbench programming languages. This study aims to simplify drug stock control, apply the FIFO algorithm for organized distribution, and produce structured and easy-to-find reports. This research uses PHP language and MySQL database. The software used is Sublime and HeidiSQL. The results of the study indicate that the drug inventory application created can facilitate storage activities

Abstract

Dino Park, located in East Java, is a tourist attraction that uses the concept of dinosaurs as the main attraction. Dinosaurs themselves lived approximately 200 million years ago in the Jurassic period. In helping to increase visitors at Dino Park, promotional media is needed to promote dinosaur tourism. Making animation for this promotion using blender software version 3.4. Blender is a software that offers full functionality for modeling, texturing, rigging, animating, and rendering. Cinematic animation has become a powerful tool to produce visual works that can attract audiences in today's digital age. This abstract explores aspects of cinematic animation in the context of using blender. The character creation process includes 3D models, textures to give a sense of life to the model, scene-setting techniques that include lighting, and camera placement to produce an immersive atmosphere. In this research, the author uses the pose to pose method to produce a cinematic 3D promotional animation with good motion. This method aims to simplify planning, improve animation quality and make it easy to correct flaws in the animation. The pose to pose method in cinematic animation has become a powerful approach in creating stunning visual experiences. It provides precise control and unlimited creativity in character movement, allowing animators to create 3D animations with smoother and more natural-looking animated movements

The purpose of conducting this research is to make it easier for reporters or anyone to process reporting violations which were initially done manually by making an appointment via social media and then coming to the Depok City Bawaslu office for further processing. With this application, reporters do not need to come first to report suspected violations, they only need to access the website application and describe the incidents of alleged violations. Abstract

Evolution of the coffee shop enterprise in Indonesia is progressing rapidly, because coffee consumption in Indonesia continues increasing every year. In selecting the application to be used usually consider security, convenience and many promotions. But some users are still hesitant in using an application because some of the reviews are displayed, then from that problem a research is carried out using sentiment analysis to produce a classification on customer satisfaction with fore coffee using the Naïve Bayes Algorithm. The stages of this research consist of collecting data from web scraping, data preprocessing, The utilization of TF-IDF data weighting, coupled with the successful deployment of the Naive Bayes algorithm, leads to a heightened level of precision while ensuring a straightforward and prompt workflow. Results of data processing and application of algorithms. Process results data processing carried out there are 1801 data, the highest number of sentiments is positive sentiment of 1163 and 315 negative sentiments. This shows that from 1801 data comments that users the fore coffee application likes the services provided by the fore coffee baristas, but there are also the community who don't like the waiter given by the barista. The accuracy value that has been obtained after processed using the naïve Bayes algorithm, a percentage of 74.28% is obtained which can be seen that the data can be used as a basis for fore coffee in considering decision making.

Abstract

The 2024 Republic of Indonesia Presidential Election is a democratic stage to determine the President of the Republic of Indonesia and Vice President of the State of Indonesia for the 2024-2029 period which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 14 February 2024. This election is the fifth direct presidential and vice presidential election in Indonesia. Several parties have currently nominated or selected their presidential candidates for the 2024 presidential election. Three presidential candidates have emerged, namely Prabowo Subianto, Ganjar Pranowo, and Anies Baswedan. Based on a survey, Prabowo Subianto is the presidential candidate (capres) with the highest electability compared to other competitors. The society's view of the 2024 presidential candidate, especially Prabowo Subianto, has raised many pros and cons. Society's view can be seen on social media, like one of  this is the Twitter. This study aims to classify public sentiment towards the Presidential Candidate (capres) Prabowo Subianto on Twitter. The amount of data used is 2100 tweets which are collected based on the keywords "Presidential Candidate" and "Prabowo Subianto". The application of the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) method with weighting in the form of TF-IDF and Feature Selection in the form of Threshold will be implemented using Google Colab. Based on the results of testing the K-NN method using the confusion matrix at seven K values, namely (3,5,7,9,11,13,15) with the comparisons used 70:30, 80:20, 90:10 the highest accuracy was obtained at K = 5 at the ratio of training data and test data 80:20.

Abstract

The use of the internet for learning activities for students aged 5-24 years is increasing rapidly from 33.98% in 2016 to 59.33% of students using the internet in 2020. Pekanbaru Labor Vocational School also uses internet network to support teaching and learning activities. The increasing performance in an internet network will increase the data traffic. The problem that arises is the length of time needed to access the internet so as to reduce learning productivity. QoS method is conducted in this research to analyze internet access speed and measure internet network performance in Pekanbaru Labor Vocational School. Based on the measurements taken, it can be seen that the throughput value obtained is an average throughput of 2191 Kbps, the delay value obtained is 5.70 ms, the packet loss value obtained is 1.3%, the jitter value obtained is 0.00854421ms. This value is the value of network speed measured using the QoS method by accessing several sites including www.youtube.com, www.detik.com and also the download speed. It can be concluded that referring to the TIPHON standard, the Quality of Service value obtained by SMK Labor Pekanbaru is classified as very good with an index of 4 and a percentage of 95-100%.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the quality of the 4G internet network in Tuah Madani District using the Quality of Service (QoS) method which involves throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter parameters. Due to the high population level, the Tuah Madani sub-district has a densely populated area with a significant population. This causes the need for high internet services as well. The high population density can affect the quality of the network, where the density of the population and the large number of buildings can cause network performance to be less than optimal. The purpose of this study is to provide comprehensive information about the quality of the 4G internet network in Tuah Madani District and provide recommendations to the public to choose the best provider. Analysis of the quality of the 4G network was carried out in three urban villages with the largest population, namely West Sidomulyo Village, Tuah Karya Village, and Sialang Munggu Village. The results of the study in West Sidomulyo Village showed that Smartfren was the best provider with an index value of 4 and received the "Very Good" category. The results of the study in the Tuah Karya Village showed that Telkomsel was the best provider with an index value of 4 and received the "Very Good" category. The results of the study in the Sialang Munggu Village showed that Smartfren was the best provider in the Sialang Munggu Village with an index value of 4 and received the "Very Good" category

Abstract

In the increasingly advanced digital era, the quality of internet networks has become a crucial factor in everyday life, particularly in academic environments such as campuses. The quality of 4G internet networks is also essential for students and staff in carrying out educational activities, research, and communication. Therefore, measuring and analyzing internet networks is necessary to ensure that the utilized network does not hinder activities that require internet access. This study explores the quality of 4G internet networks provided by three major providers, Smartfren, Telkomsel, and XL Axiata, at the UIN Suska Riau campus. The method used is Quality of Service (QoS), which measures four main parameters: throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter. This research aims to provide comprehensive information regarding the quality of 4G networks offered by each provider within the campus environment. The measurement data indicates that XL Axiata performs the best in terms of throughput, with an average speed of 3843.8125 kbps and a "Very Good" category rating. Telkomsel demonstrates the best performance in the packet loss parameter, with a packet loss percentage of 0.09375% and a "Very Good" category rating. Meanwhile, in the delay parameter, Telkomsel records the lowest waiting time at 7.03675 ms and a "Very Good" category. XL Axiata exhibits the best performance in the jitter parameter, with a value of 0.005436 ms and a "Very Good" category rating. Based on the TIPHON standardization, XL Axiata is assessed as the best provider with an average score of 4.00 and a "Very Good" category.
