Abstract

Vocational school students (SMK) are equipped with certain work skills so that later they can enter the labor market immediately after graduating from school. The ability to think critically is one of the skills needed in business and industry. Hence, it needs to be owned by SMK students. This study aimed to determine the level of mathematical critical thinking skills of SMK students. The research was conducted in one of the Vocational Schools in Mataram City. The research sample was 60 students in eleventh grade who were taken using a random sampling technique. The level of mathematical critical thinking skill is obtained through a mathematical critical thinking ability test. Furthermore, interviews were conducted to explore things that were not visible in the students' answers. The results of data processing addressed that the percentage level of mathematical critical thinking skills, namely 0% of students are in the very high level, 15% are in the high level, 25% are in enough level, 42% are in the low level and 18% are in the very low level. This means that more than half of the students have low mathematical critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to model the production of coals in Indonesia. The model used in this research is multiple linear regression. The independent variables in this model are the time(w) and the export (eb), while the dependent variable is the production of coals in Indonesia. The data used is the national export and production in 2012 until 2019. The best model obtained is prodi = -4,475* 1010+ 2,216*107 *wI + 1,649 * bei + This model has a MAPE of 5,27%. In this model time and export have explained 71,72 % of the independent variable that took effect from the production of coals in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is an exploratory descriptive with a descriptive quantitative approach or mix-method which aims to analyze the thinking processes of pre-service mathematics students based on the SOLO taxonomy in solving differential equation problems. The subjects were 86 pre-service mathematics students of the fifth semester of the mathematics education study program who were selected using the purposive sampling technique. Meanwhile, data were collected using problem-solving tests and interviews and then analyzed using descriptive and qualitative statistics with the following stages: (1) transcribing test and interview data, (2) coding segmentation, (3) analyzing student thinking processes in solving differential equation problems, and (4) drawing conclusions. The results showed that pre-service mathematics students' thinking levels were at the pre-structural level (6.98%), uni-structural (25.58%), multi-structural (60.47%), and extended abstract (6.98). Meanwhile, there is no one at the relational level in solving the problem. These results indicate that students need to be well supported and facilitated in problem-solving to achieve higher levels of thinking, such as the relational and extended abstract levels.

Abstract

The crown of the gods (Phaleria macrocarpa) is a medicinal plant that is well known to the public. Tissue culture is a plant propagation technique by isolating plant parts such as shoots, leaves, and buds, and growing these parts in aseptic artificial media that is rich in nutrients. Initiation is the taking and naming of sterile explants into the growing media. Tinamine and nicotinic acid (vitamins) are one of the elements needed by plants as antioxidants and launch metabolism in plants so that plants will quickly absorb the nutrients contained in the media. This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of tissue culture initiation on the addition of thiamine and nicotinic acid (vitamins) doses. The research method used is the experimental method which was tested with ANSIRA (analysis of variance) at the level of 1% and 5%. The results of this study indicated that the addition of thiamine and nicotinic acid doses had an effect on the initiation of tissue culture, because at stem height F>F table 3.11 the results were significantly different. In the number of leaves parameter obtained F count 2.87 < from F table 3.11 then the result is significant. After further testing with BNJ (Honest Significant Difference) at the 5% test level, the results were significantly different.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the geometric thinking level of students and determine the effect of gender on the geometric thinking level of pre-service mathematics students. This study is quantitative where data analysis using Mann Witney test. The sample of this research is 55 pre-service mathematics students prospective students consisting of 33 women and 22 men. The instrument in this study is the Van Hiele Geometry Test which consists of 25 multiple-choice questions. The data were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U test. The results showed that male students were 36.36% at the visualization level, 40.91% at the analytical level, 9.09% at the informal deduction level, 9.09% at the rigor level. and the remaining 4.55% are in the pre-recognition category. Meanwhile, for female students, as many as 27.27% at the visualization level, 33.33% at the analytical level, 18.18% at the informal deduction level, 3.03% at the deduction level, 3.03% at the rigor level, and the remaining 15 .15% are in the pre-recognition category. In addition to the categories above, based on data analysis, it was found that there was no gender effect on the students' geometric thinking level.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe how the conditions of learning carried out online during the pandemic. Then what are the challenges faced and the advantages felt by teachers through online learning, as well as solutions from teachers related to increasing the effectiveness of learning mathematics during the pandemic. This research is quantitative-qualitative research. The subjects in this study amounted to 11 teachers of mathematics. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire regarding teacher responses about learning mathematics in the pandemic era. The results show that the applications used by teachers to assist the learning process include WhatsApp, Google Classroom, and others. However, there are several obstacles faced by teachers during the online learning process, for example limited facilities and the delivery of learning materials that are not optimal. The government needs to provide the needs of schools and students for online learning. Teachers also state that learning videos can help students learn during the pandemic.

Abstract

penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran kimia organik berbantuan media chemtube untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada materi subsitusi nukleofilik. Sebanyak 19 mahasiswa sebagai sampel diberikan pretes dan postes serta angket untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan hasil positif dengan peningkatan hasil belajar

Abstract

Nutritional problems in Indonesia and in developing countries in general are still dominated by the problem site, namely the problem of lack of protein energy (KEP), Iron Anemia, problems due to iodine deficiency (IDD), vitamin A deficiency problems (KVA). Iron anemia is the most common in the community, the occurrence of Iron Anemia can be caused by several factors including iron content in daily food, very low absorption of iron from food, the presence of parasites in the body, and loss of blood due to accidents or accidents. surgery due to illness. Therefore, the researchers tried to examine the effect of Incubation and Non-Incubation on the examination of Hemoglobin levels using the Sahli Method using the Experimental Method which is Cross Sectional. Abstract

Bacillus thuringiensis is one of the bacterial species that produces a bioinsecticide known as Bacillus thuringiensis toxin. The purpose of this study was to determine the toxicity of Bacillus thuringiensis var israelensis to Bactocera papayae larvae. Larvicidal activity was calculated based on the percentage of total larval mortality after exposure to Bacillus thuringsiensis var israelensis spores for 24, 36, 48 hours. The results showed that the mortality of Bactocera papayae larvae instar III-IV ranged from 0-30% which was challenged with 106-108 spores/ml. Bacillus thuringiensis var israelensis exposed to Culex sp mosquitoes can kill up to 100% at a concentration of 104 spores/ml.

Abstract

Water is a means of improving the health status of the community, its quality needs to be maintained so that it is still beneficial for human life and other living things and water control is still carried out. Improving the quality of drinking water by managing it is absolutely necessary, especially if the water comes from surface water. South Rarang Village is deemed necessary to conduct research on the concentration of lime (CaCO3) in well water in South Rarang Village because it is seen that when the community boils water taken from the well, scale develops in the water heating boilers. The sample in this study was part of the wells of the people of South Rarang Village, Terara District, East Lombok Regency. The sampling criteria used by the researchers in this study were based on the location and location of the wells in each hamlet in Rarang Selatan Village, Terara District, East Lombok Regency. Based on the results of testing well water in Rarang Selatan Village, Terara District, East Lombok Regency at the Lombok Island Public Health Laboratory, it can be concluded that the average lime content in each well in South Rarang Village has an average of 432 mg/liter
