Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the influence of socioeconomic factors and work motivation on the work performance of the CU Cinta Kasih Tigapanah Cooperative Karo District employees. The sampling technique used is Proportional Random Sampling. The data analysis technique is multiple linear regression. From the results of data processing, socioeconomic factors were found to have a positive and significant effect on the work performance of the CU Cinta Kasih Tigapanah Cooperative employees in Karo District. T test results show that the socio-economic variable variable 2,819> t table 1,668 and with a significant level of 0.009 t table 1,668.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence employee job satisfaction at PT Astra Medan Branch. The benefits of research help provide input to the leadership of the company in determining policies for the progress of PT Astra Medan Branch and can be used as reference material in enriching and deepening science. The number of samples was 105 respondents, the types of data used were primary and secondary data, and the method of data collection through questionnaires and documentation, the method of data analysis used factor analysis. The results showed that the KMO Measure of Sampling Adequacy (MSA) figure of 0.825 was above 0.50, with a significance of 0,000, so the variables were worthy of further analysis. Scree plot shows the graph, where from factor 1 to factor 2 (source line component number = 1 to 2), the direction of the line decreases sharply. Then from number 2 to number 6, the direction of the line is still decreasing with slope getting smaller. The seventh to twenty-first factors are below the number of the Y axis (eigenvalues). This shows that the six factors are best for summarizing the twenty-one factors that influence employee job satisfaction at PT Astra Medan Branch. The dominant factors affecting job satisfaction of employees of PT Astra Medan Branch are incentives or bonuses, work policies and procedures, promotion of positions, intrinsic of work, social security and official vehicles. The most dominant factor influencing employee job satisfaction is incentives or bonuses. Suggestions that are recommended to company leaders should the company increase the amount of incentives or bonuses, pay attention to the establishment of work policies and procedures, maintain the provision of social security and official vehicles. The company should provide the greatest opportunities for employees with the best performance to be promoted to higher positions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of credit risk as measured by non-performing loans, the level of capital adequacy as measured by the capital adequacy ratio, debt as measured by debt to equity ratio, and interest income as measured by net interst margin on the level of profitability as measured by return on assets in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This research is classified as causative research. The population in this study were all banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011 to 2015. While the sample of this study was determined by purposive sampling method so that 24 sample companies were obtained. The type of data used was secondary data obtained from www.idx.co.id. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis with a significance level of 5%. The partial test results show that credit and debt risk have a negative and significant effect on profitability, capital adequacy has no effect on profitability, interest income has a positive and significant effect on profitability. Simultaneous test results show that credit risk, capital adequacy, debt, and interest income affect profitability. Therefore, banks consider the factors of credit risk, capital adequacy, debt and interest income in the context of achieving the expected profit level by taking into account the quality of credit distribution, cultivate capital well and use capital effectively, debt that is made into productive assets is well managed, as well as maintaining loan interest rates offered so as to generate high capital.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the market development and competitiveness of UMKM products in North Nias Regency. Data needed in this study are primary and secondary data. The data analysis method used is a descriptive statistical approach. The results of the study show that: develop UKMK commodities that have local, regional, national and export markets, improve quality by using technology and increase exports, improve product quality and increase the number of assistants and pay attention to the quality of raw materials and conduct training for UMKM entrepreneurs. production can be competitive and comparative.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the most dominant factors influencing consumer behavior to buy Toyota Avanza cars (case study at PT Astra International Tbk Auto 2000 Medan). The benefits of research for the development of science, especially in the field of consumer behavior, as a reference in conducting further research. The number of samples is 100 respondents, the types of data used are primary and secondary data, and the method of collecting data through questionnaires and documentation, the method of data analysis is used factor analysis. From the results of research and discussion obtained the KMO Measure of Sampling Adeguacy (MSA) Figures of 0797 with a significance level of 0,000. Because the KMO value is above 0.50 and is significant at 1 percent, the data are quite feasible for further analysis using factor analysis. Component Matrix shows that the variables analyzed are not clearly included in which factors. After the rotated component matrix is performed, the twenty variables studied are clearly included in factor 1, factor 2, factor 3, factor 4 and factor 5. The dominant factors affecting consumer behavior to buy Toyota avanza in PT Astra International Auto 2000 Medan are car prices, car brands, lifestyle, income levels and experience. The most dominant factor influencing consumer behavior is the price of a car. Suggestions that are recommended should the company target and intensify marketing in the community who work as entrepreneurs. This is based on the work of entrepreneurs who demand high mobility and have strong capital in conducting transactions, especially car purchases. Affordable and rational prices need to be considered by the company. Companies can also make the payment system look lighter by collaborating with finance companies that have a good track record.

Abstract

This research is intended to know the influence of government expenditure on education and health sector, inflation, and poverty on human development index with economic growth as a moderating variables in Indonesia. Population in this research is Indonesia and 20 of them were selected to be the samples for this research through purposive sampling technique. Estimates conducted by the multiple regression analysis. The data that were used in this study were secondary data, consisted of Government Expenditure, Inflation, and Poverty to human development index for the year 2000-2019. The results of this research, that Based on the partial test (t test), the Poverty variable has no significant effect while the Inflation and Government Expenditure variables have a significant effect on the variables of the human development index in Indonesia, the simultan test (F test), government expenditure, inflation, and poverty have a significant effect on the variables of the human development index. The economic growth variables are unable to moderate the relationship between government expenditure, inflation and poverty on the human development index.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ability of the hotel services company in the Indonesia Stock Exchange to generate profits with the total assets available. This ability is seen from the value of ROA and the value of ROE (return on investment of shareholders). The benefit of this research is to provide information material to investors in making investment decisions. This study uses secondary data, namely the Financial Statements of Hospitality Service Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2018 which can be accessed via the internet. The data analysis technique used in this research is ratio analysis. The ratio analysis used is the profitability ratio, which is represented by Return On Assets (ROA) and Return On Equity (ROI). The results showed that in these company profitability ratios from 2014 to 2018, in general, several companies experienced a decline, which indicates that the company's profitability ratio is getting less good. Of the 5 hotel services companies studied, the authors also concluded that the Destination Company Tirta Nusantara Tbk. (PDES) is a hotel service company that has the best profitability ratio. This means that this company is a hotel service company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange that has the best financial performance. Meanwhile, Golden Eagle Energy Tbk. (SMMT) is a hotel service company that has the worst profitability ratio. Based on the research results, it is recommended that the management of the hotel services listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange be able to maintain and even improve their performance from year to year. The company is also expected to be able to manage its assets properly so that the company's performance will increase and further research uses all the ratios in operational variables to assess the company's financial performance.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of accessibility and destination attraction on tourist loyalty mediated by the destination amenity. The research methodology uses the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) to analyze the quantitative data were collected accidentally from the respondents in the destination. The sample method uses purposive random sampling with number of sample are 240 respondents. The respondents should meet the following criteria (1) who visit the destination at least 2 times or more, (2) who visit the destination at least in 2018. The results shows that (1) accessibility insignificantly influence the destination amenity, (2) destination attraction significantly influence the destination amenity, (3) accessibility insignificantly influence the tourists loyalty, (4) destination attractions insignificantly influence the tourists loyalty, (5) destination amenity insignificantly influence the tourists loyalty, (6) the destination amenity insignificantly mediated accessibility on tourists loyalty and (7) destination amenity insignificantly mediated the destination attraction on tourists loyalty
