Abstract

The use of learning models has an essential role, of course it needs to be paid attention to in learning. For this reason, this research aims to explore the learning model applied to Natural Sciences (IPA) and Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at SMA Negeri 10 Tangerang City. This research uses a qualitative approach, case study method. The results of the research show that the learning models implemented within the framework of the Independent Curriculum have been implemented in this school since March 2023. The most interesting finding in this research is that although in general the learning models applied in the classroom are practically almost the same, however There are still differences in nuances between the learning models applied to Natural Science (IPA) subjects and Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. These two differences were divided into two groups, namely the group that used an inquiry-based learning model for science and the group that used a discussion-based learning model for PAI. The learning model in science subjects mainly often uses contextual learning and quantum learning, while the most commonly used learning model in PAI subjects is mind mapping. Teachers at this school have also implemented the use of digital media platforms which can increase the enthusiasm for the learning atmosphere. This small research discusses the implementation of the model for these two subjects because they have a causal relationship, where natural science will bring students to the realm of reason, while Islamic religious science will bring them to the realm of faith, naqli knowledge so that in the end they become human beings. completely.

Abstract

Upon gaining independence in 1964, the Zambian government embraced English as the official language for education, media, legislation, and all governmental functions. This choice followed extensive discussions on whether to adopt English or a Zambian language as the national language for classroom instruction. Despite arguments in favour of both English and Zambian languages, English ultimately prevailed. This paper delves into the language-in-education policy, with a particular focus on the 2014 Zambia education policy. The study's main objective is to investigate the impact of using Cinyanja, a regional official language, as the medium of classroom instruction for teachers and learners at a selected mission (private) school in Lusaka. Qualitative data was gathered from the school, with four teachers and twenty learners randomly selected from a population of 200 and interviewed individually. Additionally, direct observation was employed as a data collection method. The study revealed that implementing the revised 2014 education policy is challenging because the language used for teaching is considered a second language yet the teaching/learning methods and materials are designed for first language learners. This presents a hurdle for teachers and learners, who must grapple with learning both the language of instruction and the subject matter.

The results highlighted the success of LPTQ in designing and implementing structured training programs, managing recitation competitions, and fully supporting the development of individual potential. LPTQ's active role in building networks with recitation experts and related parties is also an important factor in encouraging the quality of qori and qoriah in this region. However, the research also identified some challenges, including limited resources and lack of community participation. As such, this journal provides an in-depth understanding of how LPTQ management can be key in producing quality qori and qoriah, while highlighting the opportunities and constraints faced by the institution. Abstract

This study investigates the influence of product quality, price, and promotional activities on the choices made while purchasing a market leading, non-subsidized NPK fertilizer brand in Indonesia. There is less study on agricultural marketing before this research. The study specifically looks at how purchase interest plays a role in mediating these factors. A total of 231 customers participated in an online survey, and the data obtained were evaluated using the SmartPLS software. The results indicate that the quality and price of a product have a substantial impact on the level of interest in making a purchase, which subsequently has a considerable influence on the final choice to make the buy. Curiously, there is a direct relationship between pricing and the level of interest in making a purchase. This emphasizes that this market leading NPK fertilizer brand is perceived as a product of great worth by the buyer. However, promotional activities have a minimal impact on the choice to purchase and only a weak connection with the level of interest in buying. The findings highlight the significance of purchase interest as a crucial element in the consumer's journey towards making a purchase, surpassing the impact of promotional tactics employed by leading fertilizer brands in the market. The study offers significant insights for manufacturers and policymakers in Indonesia, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing product quality and pricing strategies to improve customer interest and stimulate purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the cases of land expropriation of ownership rights from the perspective of agrarian law. Land expropriation is an increasingly frequent phenomenon, causing complex agrarian conflicts that require appropriate legal handling. The focus of this study is on the aspects of agrarian law related to cases of land expropriation, including land rights, agrarian regulations, and agrarian dispute resolution. The research methods used are normative juridical and empirical methods. The normative juridical approach is carried out by reviewing various laws, regulations, and policies related to agrarian law as well as literature studies to understand the legal framework governing land ownership. Meanwhile, the empirical juridical approach is conducted by analyzing data on land expropriation cases that have occurred, including the dispute resolution processes that have been carried out. The results of this study show that cases of land expropriation of ownership rights involve violations of the original owners' land rights. Factors such as lack of oversight, weak law enforcement, and unclear agrarian regulations contribute to the increase in land expropriation cases. From the perspective of agrarian law, protection of land rights needs to be strengthened through regulatory improvements and enhanced law enforcement. This study also highlights the importance of effective and fair agrarian dispute resolution. The dispute resolution process needs to involve active participation from all parties involved, including local communities and local governments. The implementation of alternative dispute resolutions, such as mediation and arbitration, can also be a quicker and more efficient solution.

Abstract

This study evaluates the implementation of the Open Defecation Free (ODF) Program in Tambak Osowilangun Village, Surabaya City using a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews, documentation, and observation. The findings of the study show that the program has been successful in increasing access to proper sanitation facilities and reducing the incidence of sanitation-related diseases such as diarrhea. Significant challenges still exist, especially related to uneven changes in community behavior and suboptimal maintenance of sanitation facilities. The success of the program is supported by the active involvement of local communities and policy support from local governments, but is hampered by factors such as limited infrastructure in remote areas and cultural resistance to changes in sanitation practices. The limitations of this study include geographic coverage limited to a single village and a qualitative approach that may not cover the variation of experiences across the regions affected by the ODF program.
