Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan aspek-aspek tatakrama masyarakat Sunda dengan merujuk pada budaya babasan dan paribasa Sunda. Babasan dan paribasa Sunda sendiri merupakan produk budaya masyarakat Sunda yang berwujud dalam bentuk frasa dan klausa atau kalimat yang disampaikan secara turun temurun sejak lama sebagai salahsatu cara masyarakat Sunda dalam mengedukasi saudaranya dalam hal berintraksi sosial. Dalam prosesnya, penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis sebagai cara untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang aspek yang dimaksud. Adapaun data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang merupakan babasan dan paribasa Sunda yang telah didokumentasikan oleh para penulis budaya Sunda. Kemudian data tersebut dianalisis berdasarkan kajian makna dan intervensi peneliti terhadap makna tersebut. Dalam perjalanan panjangnya, peneliti menemukan beberapa babasan dan paribasa Sunda yang memilki makna nilai-nilai tatakrama untuk interaksi sosial. Di antara aspek nilai tatakrama yang diperoleh di antaranya adalah: 1) aspek tatakrama berbahasa, 2) aspek tatakrama kinetis, dan 3) aspek tatakrama hubungan sosial. Setelah dianalisis dan di deskripsikan, selanjutnya didapati adanya pola tatakrama masyarakat Sunda yang mencakup ketiga aspek tersebut yang harus hadir secara bersamaan dalam satu interaksi sosial. Pola tersebut dirangkum dalam lima istilah kata yang terdiri atas: 1) wiwaha, 2) wibawa, 3) wirasa, 4) wirahma, dan 5) wiraga. Abstract This study describes Sundanese aspects of manners by referring to babasan and paribasa (lit. expression and proverb) in Sundanese culture. Babasan and paribasa are tangible products of Sundanese culture in the forms of phrases and clauses, or sentences, which are delivered from generation to generation extensively. They are ways to educate Sundanese people in social interaction. This research employs descriptive analysis method to get an overview of aspects contained in babasan and paribasa. The primary data are babasan and paribasa that have been documented by the authors of Sundanese culture. Then the data was analyzed based on the study of meaning and the intervention of meaning. This study found some Sundanese babasans and paribasas as having the meaning of manner values in social interaction. The aspects of manner values found, among others, are (1) aspects of language etiquette, (2) aspects of kinetic manners, and (3) the aspects of social relation manners. After being analyzed and described, the study found the Sundanese pattern of manners that includes three aspects. The pattern must present simultaneously in a social interaction. The pattern is summarized in five terms: 1) wiwaha; 2) wibawa; 3) wirasa; 4) wirahma; and 5) wiraga.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of class V students in Mathematics learning with the elaboration learning model. The research undertaken was Classroom Action Research through 3 cycles, each cycle consisting of one meeting. The stages of each cycle are planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. In the first cycle the learning completeness index was 77.78%, in the second cycle and cycle it increased to 88.89%. With the class average value of 77.78 in the first cycle, 87.04 in the second cycle and 87.78 in the third cycle. From this classroom action research, it can be concluded that the application of the elaboration learning model can improve student learning outcomes in learning Mathematics on the scale of SD Negeri Panulisan Barat 01, Dayeuhluhur District, Cilacap Regency.

Abstract

The incidence of injuries is increasing every year, both acute wounds and chronic wounds, therefore nurses are required to have adequate knowledge and skills related to the wound care process starting from a comprehensive assessment, planning appropriate interventions, implementing actions, evaluation of the results found during treatment and systematic documentation of results (Agustina, 2009 in Sinaga, 2011). Knowledge of nurses in the surgical inpatient ward of the hospital. Immanuel regarding modern dressing is still very limited because of the minimal exposure to modern dressing and rarely do or apply modern dressing. The results of observations also showed that some room nurses were wrong in applying modern dressings. The method used is descriptive quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The results showed that half of the respondents had a good level of knowledge about the application of modern dressing as many as 15 people (50%), most of the respondents were in a supportive attitude about the application of modern dressing as many as 17 respondents (56.67%). The results of the data analysis of the relationship between knowledge and nurses' attitudes statistically using the Chi-Square test showed 2 cells (33.3%) with an expected count < 5 and a Pearson chi-square p value = 0.021 obtained a p value of < (0.05). So it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and nurses' attitudes about the application of modern dressings in the surgical inpatient ward of the hospital. Abstract

Adanya pandemik sejak bulan Maret 2020 menyebabkan guru harus kreatif agar proses belajar-mengajar tetap berlangsung tetapi tidak menjadi beban berat bagi semua pihak. Untuk mengatasinya berbagai kegiatan dilaksanakan secara daring (online). Tetapi kegiatan ini kadang-kadang menyebabkan kejenuhan. Segi positifnya menimbulkan kreativitas agar berbagai kegiatan tetap berlangsung, termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan dan pengajaran. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk menjelaskan berbagai aplikasi digital yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa, baik yang berkaitan dengan empat keterampilan berbahasa maupun secara umum, yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam kegiatan blended learning atau hybrid learning. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif. Hasilnya didapat pengelompokan aplikasi pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan berdasarkan empat keterampilan berbahasa. Tetapi ada juga aplikasi yang dapat digunakan tanpa klasifikasi tersebut.

Abstract

The target of the results of this service program is expected that this training will be carried out as an effort to improve the professionalism of Sundanese language teachers in Pangandaran Regency in understanding, implementing, and developing Minimal Competency Assessment (AKM) models in Sundanese language subjects. The subjects are Sundanese language teachers in junior high and high school levels in Pangandaran Regency. The activity carried out is a training activity to prepare Sundanese language teachers in facing the digital era and global competition. Pangandaran Regency was chosen as a training location because its area is quite far from the city center of West Java, so that Sundanese language teachers there must also be given the same training to deal with this development. This training requires an increase in teacher professionalism in applying the AKM model in accordance with the demands of the current application of learning policies. The output targets of this training are (1) scientific articles published in national journals (2) scientific articles presented in international seminars, and (3) draft Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)

Abstract

The existence of a pandemic since March 2020 has caused teachers to be creative so that the teaching-learning process continues but does not become a heavy burden for all parties. To overcome this, various activities are carried out online. But this activity sometimes causes burnout. On the positive side, it creates creativity so that various activities can continue, including in the fields of education and teaching. The purpose of this paper is to explain various digital applications that can be used in language learning, both related to the four language skills and in general, which can be utilized in blended learning or hybrid learning activities. The method used is descriptive. The result is a grouping of learning applications that can be used based on four language skills. But there are also applications that can be used without these classifications.

Abstract

Local culture often inherits a patriarchal view that regards women as the second gender category. However, this stereotyped view is only partially correct, especially when looking at the extent to which Sundanese culture views, defines, and places the role of women. Women in the local Sundanese culture have a role as balance keepers in the sense of anthropocentrism. This study aims to describe the role of women as anthropocentric subjects in Sundanese culture. The data of this study were taken from the film Ambu (2019), which represents women's roles in the Sundanese culture, especially as shown in the Baduy tribe. This study is descriptive-qualitative. It used Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis approach. This framework enables the film to be studied through its discursive dialogues and scenes, examining how these elements reflect and engage with social and cultural practices. The findings show that the film portrays a representation of women through Ambu Misnah, who embodies gender balance in Sundanese culture, challenging traditional views of domestication. As a cultural symbol connected to Sunan Ambu, her role contrasts with liberal feminist ideals, highlighting a more localized form of female empowerment. Furthermore, the language used by a male character, specifically the head of the Baduy Tribe, reflects a transfer of authority, signaling a shift in gender-power relations. Thus, these findings emphasize an anthropocentric awareness of the role of women, particularly within the Sundanese community.

Abstract

Education plays an important role in the development of a country. To achieve optimal educational goals, effective curriculum development is essential. In Indonesia, the introduction of the Merdeka Curriculum aims to improve the quality of learning in schools. To achieve quality learning, it is important to understand the elements of education. The elements of education include (1) students, (2) educators, (3) educational interactions between students and educators, (4) educational goals, (5) educational materials/contents (curriculum), (6) tools and methods, and (7) educational environment. The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Sundanese and Balinese Language Learning is still under development. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kebutuhan penggunaan Augmented Reality  (AR) sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif dalam pembelajaran tata krama bahasa Sunda. Berlandaskan teori konstruktivisme, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman dan interaksi dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap norma sosial dalam budaya Sunda. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner, observasi partisipatif, dan wawancara mendalam kepada guru serta siswa dari sepuluh sekolah menengah pertama di wilayah Bandung Raya. Analisis data dilakukan secara tematik menggunakan pendekatan Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran konvensional kurang efektif dalam merepresentasikan situasi sosial secara nyata. AR memiliki potensi besar dalam menghadirkan simulasi pembelajaran yang lebih realistis dan interaktif dengan karakteristik utama berupa simulasi kontekstual, visualisasi realistis, latihan mandiri, serta umpan balik langsung. Namun, tantangan utama dalam implementasi AR terletak pada keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi dan kesiapan tenaga pendidik. Implikasi penelitian ini menekankan perlunya dukungan infrastruktur dan pelatihan guru agar AR dapat diterapkan secara optimal dalam pembelajaran tata krama bahasa Sunda.This study aims to explore the need for using Augmented Reality  (AR) as an interactive learning medium in Sundanese etiquette education. Based on constructivist theory, this research emphasizes the importance of experience-based and interactive learning in enhancing students’ understanding of social norms in Sundanese culture. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including questionnaires, participatory observations, and in-depth interviews with teachers and students from ten junior high schools in the Bandung Raya region. Data analysis was conducted thematically using the Miles and Huberman approach. The findings indicate that conventional teaching methods are ineffective in representing real social situations. AR has great potential in providing more realistic and interactive learning simulations with key characteristics such as contextual simulations, realistic visualization, independent exercises, and real-time feedback. However, the main challenges in implementing AR lie in the limitations of technological infrastructure and the readiness of educators. The study highlights the need for infrastructure support and teacher training to ensure the optimal application of AR in Sundanese etiquette education.

Abstract

Learning about tata krama (etiquette) in Sundanese often faces obstacles, particularly due to the limited availability of instructional media that can realistically and comprehensively represent social situations. As a result, students struggle to distinguish and apply various speech levels—such as respectful, familiar, and harsh language—according to context. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Augmented Reality (AR) technology in enhancing students’ understanding of Sundanese etiquette. A quantitative approach was employed using an experimental method with a pre-test post-test control group design. The study involved 44 seventh-grade students from SMP Alfa Centauri in Bandung. Data were collected through comprehension tests and analyzed using a paired sample t-test. The results showed a significance value of 0.00, indicating a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores in the experimental group. Furthermore, the N-Gain score of 0.73 suggests a high level of improvement in learning outcomes. These findings demonstrate that AR media can effectively visualize complex social communication interactions, thereby supporting deeper student comprehension. Thus, the integration of Augmented Reality proves to be an effective and innovative solution for technology-based Sundanese language learning.
