The Indonesia Journal of Business Administration(IJBA) is a business journal that bridges the gap between business research and practice, evaluating and reporting on new research to help readers identify and understand significant trends in their fields. The IJBA seeks to publish papers relating to business, broadly defined. It publishes articles that address both theoretical and practical issues in the broad areas of Business Strategy and Marketing, People and Knowledge Management, Entrepreneurship and Technology Management, Decision Making and Strategic Negotiation, Operation and Performance Management, and Business Risk and Finance.Contributing academicians and researchers are encouraged to address a variety of concerns relating to all areas of business. We also encourage students to use an interdisciplinary approach to analyzing a topic, which often yields interesting and novel papers. The published articles provide valuable insight into matters of broad intellectual and practical concern to academicians and business professionals. The Journalis published three times a year: in April, July and October. The journal is mainly an outlet of MBA ITB students to publish their final project works, although it also accepts articles written by students at masters level from other institutions. A published paper is an honor that will be unambiguously beneficial for professional and academic careers, especially for those who want to attend graduate/professional schools. This means that papers written in relations to Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Management, Operations Management, Information Systems, Business Law, Corporate Ethics, and Public Policy all qualify for submission. Information on the journal format can be found in the journal's website. The number of pages must be at 10 pages. Abstract

Abstract – This final project is about the business model development of Games On Café (G.O.C), a recently founded board game café located at Gading Serpong, Tangerang. Its business is a combination of café and interactive games. The business situation analysis covers the external environment, the internal environment and the financial analysis. PESTEL and Porter’s Five Forces are used as tools to analyze the external environment analysis, whereas the internal factors are examined by using value chain analysis. Based on the result of primary data collection, combined with the literature study, the author identifies G.O.C to adopt the differentiation focus strategy, according to Porter’s generic strategies. Having defined the generic strategies, the comprehensive business strategy is further developed by using business model canvas. Furthermore, the financial feasibility analysis is done using NPV, IRR, and payback period.Keywords: board games café, PESTEL, Porter’s Five Forces, business model canvas, NPV, payback period

Abstract - PT. Besari Wahana Raya is a contractor company whose expertise is in construction area and was established in 1999. PT. Besari Wahana Raya specialises itself as a contractor for the military. The company currently serves only one client, which is the Indonesia Air Force. PT. Besari Wahana Raya has been working with the same client for almost 20 years. The head quarter of the company is located in Duren Sawit, East Jakarta. After working with the same client for almost 20 years, the board of directors begin to realize that they can actually acquire another market segment. After 20 years doing business in the industry, PT. Besari Wahana Raya is planning to acquire a new market segment. Using all the capabilities of the company, PT. Besari Wahana Raya needs to offer a new value proposition for the new client. The new value proposition is local empowerment. By offering this new value proposition, PT. Besari Wahana Raya is able to acquire the new-targeted segment.  In order to complete the company’s purpose, an implementation plan has been developed in order to predict all the possibilities. By developing an implementation plan, PT. Besari Wahana Raya will be able to follow all the steps required to complete the goal. Abstract

Abstract - As a service company, Applus Velosi introduces a new method for the inspection of offshore platform by using (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) UAV. The company need to conduct financial feasibility study to determine the rate for the service. The research uses both qualitative and quantitative method. Qualitative data obtained through interview of staff and top management of the company, while quantitative data through company’s financial data and historical data. The objective of this research is to evaluate the financial feasibility of the project of aerial inspection facility for offshore platform in Indonesia. The research will be anaylzed based on PESTEL Analysis, Business Model Canvas, CVP analysis and financial feasibility analysis which includes break-even analysis, payback period, ROI, NPV, IRR, PI, and WACC. The project’s tolerance will be analyzed by using sensitivity analysis. This research limitation is only focused on offshore platform of oil and gas industry in Indonesia. The research finding shows that the project of aerial inspection facility for offshore platform in Indonesia is financially feasible using $800 as base service rate. The project has positive NPV and IRR is higher than WACC, profitability index is greater than 1, and payback period is around 1 year. Keywords: CVP Analysis, Financial Feasibility Study, Offshore Platform, Sensitivity Analysis, UAV

Abstract

Abstract. PT Pertamina EP, a state-owned enterprise engaged in exploration and production of oil and gas in the upstream sector should optimize wells assets to achieve company’s target. Current wells data management in the company resulting multiple data versions. This situation potentially impact on the operation. In 2013, the Director stated that  as much as 20% of oil drilling undertaken since 2008 have failed, resulting a net loss of USD 300 million. Therefore, it is necessary to implement integrated wells management system. This research uses dispatcher report from 2014-2015 regarding wells data. The research methodology consists of several steps, started from problem finding, root cause analyses, system solution, and system design definition. The data are analyzed using Pareto as the basis for root cause. Furthermore six primary dimension of data quality from DAMABoK, CRT mapping and qualitative interview are used for solving the problem. The proposed system named MAPS assessed based on six data quality dimensions. The result shows that the system meet four out of six data quality dimensions. It requires improvement of the capabilities in the future to integrate the system into company's business processes to to synchronize the data for further decision making process.Keywords:  data quality, integrated management system, MAPS, root cause , wells

Abstract

Abstract -­­– Food and beverage industry has a big opportunity in Indonesia. Established on July 2017, Daapuandee is trying this opportunity in this industry providing Padangnese food and another Indonesian foods. This restaurant is a new restaurant, therefore Daapuandee need a proper strategy to develop the business. To help Daapuandee growing in the market, the researcher need analyze the external and internal factors.  The both of data were formed by observation and questionnaire. The researcher conduct the strategy by using TOWS matrix, Porter Generic Strategy dan Strategiy Diamond Model. The result of the business strategy is differentiation strategy such as create innovative product, marketing and promotion activities. On Porter Generic Strategy, the researcher proposed the areas to open new branch, the price, the segment, marketing and promotion using social media. Abstract

Abstract. The measurement of financial performance is becoming increasingly important due to the Economic crisis of 1997/1998 hit Asia country and slower economic growth in Indonesia since 2012. The regulation of Financial Service Authority (OJK) provides the mandatory of Measuring Health Level Assessment System of Banking Industries in Indonesia by Circular Letter SE No.14/SEOJK.03/2017. This study has a purpose to measure financial performances of state-owned banks and one private bank Indonesia in 5 years covered (2012– 2016), Risk Based Bank Rating (RBBR) is the method framework that used to measure the financial performance such as Risk Profile Factor, Good Corporate Governance, Earning and Capital. The result of the study shows that over the last five years, the financial performance achieved 5 banks seem increasing of non-performing loan and impact on declining ROA performances even though the measurement was validated as healthy predicate respectively based on OJK standard rating. Research findings is getting strong by multivariate regression result shows that there is significant indication that NPL that affected to ROA performances. As recommendation, this research suggests that all the task that need as the credit analyst must be handed to professional employee according to 5c of credit concept to improve the effectiveness credit analyst approving credit loan. By improving quality credit analyst, DuPont analysis is conducted to show how the effectiveness given towards ROA Performance.Key words: Financial performance, Risk Based Bank Rating, Risk Profile Factor, Earning, Good Corporate Governance, Capital State-owned-Company banks.

Abstract

Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional is one of the government's flagship programs to provide health services for all residents in Indonesia since 2014. The multinational pharmaceutical companies become one of the actors in supporting the successful of the program by providing innovative medicines. After the implementation, the government suffered losses in financing. The objective of this study is to propose a better strategy for pharmaceutical companies in Indonesia in support of the government's national health program. The discussion on this issue will be analyzed from an external point of view by using PESTEL (Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Environment, Legal) and from an Industry perspective using Porter's 5 Forces Analysis. In further analysis for internal use Resources based view, value chain analysis and SWOT analysis. The research method is qualitative by collecting data through interview and data observation. Scenario planning as a tool for drafting the strategy of multinational pharmaceutical companies within the next five years. In the formulation of a strategy, it is necessary to identify several factors which influence the issues thus lead to the two important uncertainties. The analysis then proceeded to create four scenarios followed by narratives. Abstract

Abstract - On 2016, central government enacted a new mechanisms in Specific Allocation Fund (SAF) Policy that encourages policy complexity and existence issue, such as a delay in determining of technical guidelines. The role of MEMR on SAF policy according to Regulation of Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources No 3/2016, states that MEMR as a Technical Ministry plays a role in monitoring and evaluation. The regulation also oblige beneficiary provinces to submit their progress reports quarterly. In fact, there are many provinces did not submit their report to MEMR. Surely this is against the rules and indicates the existence problem in monitoring and implementation process progress. The research uses qualitative approach, where the data collected in survey methods by collecting participant answer questioned administers through interviews and questionnaires. The answer from participants will describe the responses given. The question will be constructed and written properly to get reliable and valid survey. Author construct interview and design questionnaire so that participants are clear and easy to comprehend. The examine of validity data without using statistical tests, and conducted to find the meaning of research findings. Author uses triangulation to test validity data.The result showed that (1) Monitoring and Evaluation of Specific Allocation Funds on Small Scale Energy Sector is conducted by comparing the conformity of work plan with SAF's activities direction as well as conformity implementation; (2) Several causes of monitoring and evaluation problem, due to: Inexistence of standard instruction on the process of monitoring and evaluation at MEMR, Data planning have not been managed well, the regulation issue, and the absence of strict sanction; (3) Obstacles in the implementation of Specific Allocation Fund on Energy Sector Policy, include: bureaucracy, resource, communication, and disposition. Abstract. Warbis Prama is a Business Development Services company. Warbis Prama is part of the Ministry of Cooperation from 2002 until 2014. In 2014 they got independent as they see the opportunities from internal and external factors. There is 57.895.721 number of the total Indonesia SME's where all most the total came from all of SME industry. Those amount of SME's are the best opportunity for Warbis Prama to expand their business. Furthermore, Warbis Prama had a great partnership to serve and develop the SME as they are have been part of the ministry of cooperation before. They had so many experiences with Ministry of Cooperation. So Warbis prama top management level are eligible to run the business.  Furthermore, they had many projects with Ministry of SME. Those experience determine Warbis Prama core value. The final result shows Warbis Prama is eligible to be independent and give input to the Warbis Prama based on the research and business strategy method. Secondly, Warbis Prama can run the business through a business strategy that fit to them in the future. The third,  Explanation about Warbis Prama should do in the future with the proper implementation plan. So, Warbis Prama can develop their business and achieve sustainability advantage in the future

Abstract

Abstract – Humans can do their daily activities effectively and feel happier with a healthy body and mind. Health would be categorized as something that is expensive if humans do not have good health and often get sick. Therefore, more awareness is needed to maintain and improve the health of body. To keep body to stay healthy, humans are encouraged to live a healthy lifestyle. Furthermore, health and fitness centers market also grows nowadays. Realizing this opportunity, Raga Studio as a fitness group class provider, has a big opportunity to grab many members. However, Raga Studio is facing lack of business strategy, fierce competition, and human resources inefficiency. This fitness studio has to solve and overcome these problems in order to generate more revenue and face challenges in the future. In order to overcome the aforementioned problems, appropriate business strategies and recommended business model are formulated. Afterwards, the implementation plan that allows Raga Studio to obtain information regarding the suggested activities and monitor its performance is needed.
