Abstract

Community Service revealed that Health Counseling for the Community and the application of 5M in daily life, instilling the value of caring for oneself and the surrounding environment and implementing clean and healthy living behavior from an early age, by always wearing masks outside the room, washing hands properly and It is true that maintaining a safe distance away from crowds and reducing mobility is important to the community, because this activity can raise public awareness in implementing clean and healthy living behaviors. This is one way to prevent and suppress the spread of the COVID-19 virus. This community service is in the form of health education for students of SDN 1 Jarin Pademawu Pamekasan. Community education involving 80 students was carried out with various lectures and discussions, as well as demonstrations on the 5M Health Protocol. The results obtained from community service are that this activity is expected to be implemented in an effort to improve healthy and clean lifestyle habits, so as to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan penyuluhan tata cara mencuci tangan yang tepat di pos PAUD aqila kid’s desa rimbo panjang.  Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan penyuluhan tata cara mencuci tangan yang tepat di pos PAUD. Data dari penelitian ini diperoleh melalui wawancara bersama wali kelas yang menjadi sumber utama dari penelitian ini, observasi berupa observasi partisipasi pasif serta dokumentasi sebagai data pendukung dari hasil wawancara. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini yaitu mengenai penyuluhan tata cara mencuci tangan yang tepat. Setelah dilaksanakannya penyuluhan tata cara mencuci tangan yang tepat ini anak-anak lebih terbiasa untuk mencuci tangan menggunakan sabun, sehingga dapat dengan mudah memutus rantai penularan penyakit, apalagi dimasa pandemi covid saat ini. Selain itu dengan adanya penyuluhan ini guru-guru merasakan manfaat dan pentingnya mencuci tangan sehingga guru berinisiatif melengkapi sarana prasarana untuk kebutuhan mencuci tangan.

Abstract

Kampung Jawa Tanjung Piayu is one of the areas in the Riau Archipelago where some residents work as brick craftsmen. In the process of making bricks, craftsmen are in direct contact with the ground and do not wear personal protective equipment (PPE), making it possible to be infected with worms. The soil conditions used by brick craftsmen in Kampung Jawa Tanjung Piayu are moist soil, yellow in color, adjacent to puddles of water, lots of livestock swimming and passing around the excavation. These conditions will be very supportive for the development of STH worm eggs. This service aims to determine the results of the examination of STH worm eggs in the feces of brick craftsmen in Kampung Jawa, Batam City. The examination method used is the Native or Direct method, on 20 stool samples. The results of the examination showed that 20 (100%) of the stool samples examined were negative for STH worm eggs, which means that no STH worm eggs were found in the examined feces. One of the efforts to prevent further infection from STH is to perform early detection of STH infection, one method that can be done, namely through examination of feces on people who are at risk of worms.

Abstract

Matematika sebagai kumpulan sistem, ilmu, bahasa dan alat sebagai suatu kumpulan sistem, matematika terdiri dari 5 bagian, yaitu bidang aritmatika, geometri, aljabar, analisis dan dasar-dasar matematika atau logika. Dalam menyelesaikan soal soal yang berkaitan dengan matematika membutuhkan uraian dan penjabaran yang panjang disamping itu juga dibutuhkan ketelitian dan kecermatan dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal tersebut. Mekanisme pelaksanaan kegiatan secara umum berupa perencanaan/ persiapan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan evaluasi, serta refleksi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah guru-guru bisa memahami dan menggunakan program maple dengan baik dimulai dari cara menginstal program maple, mengatasi masalah program maple  ketika menginstal program, memulai program maple,mengoperasikan pengoperasian dasar dalam program maple terutama untuk pengoperasian dasar dalam matematika sekolah dasar. Diharapkan kedepannya mitra dapat mengembangkan penggunaan program Maple pada pembelajaran matematika di Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi  Indonesia  berkembang pesat setiap tahunnya. Kemajuan teknologi tidak dapat kita hindari dan sangat berpengaruh secara tidak langsung dalam bidang pendidikan. Kemajuan teknologi dalam bidang  Pendidikan  yaitu dengan menggunakan  gadget atau  juga sering disebut dengan smartphone dalam proses pembelajaran salah satunya yaitu menggunakan aplikasi Google Classroom. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukanya itu untuk memberikan pengetahuan bagi pada guru dalam menerapkan aplikasi google classroom melalui pelatihan yang pada akhirnya nanti kegiatan ini akan diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Adapun permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi pelatihan ini yaitu guru belum bisa memanfaatkan aplikasi google classroom ini secara optimal. Metode dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah penjelasan,  diskusi  dan  praktek langsung dengan output akhir peserta sudah dapat membuat dan menggunakan fitur-fitur  yang  ada  pada  google  classroom dalam  proses  pembelajaran serta adanya  media  pembelajaran  google  classroom pada setiap mata pelajaran.

Abstract

The knowledge and insight of teachers about the use of mathematical material taught to their students at school are minimal. Therefore, it is necessary to transmit the application of mathematical models to each mathematical material discussed in school learning. Transmission through this community service webinar presents several applicable cases or problems directly practiced by various professions such as police, doctors, company managers, area planner, programmers, and demographics. Indirectly, this transmission also aims to make students aware of the importance of mathematics in the world of work (profession) which is their goal in the future. From the results of direct interviews with high school mathematics teachers at the webinar, the service team can conclude that this webinar is beneficial in increasing their knowledge and insight so that this service can be sustainable in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of PKM activities is to provide education to the public regarding the Protection of Women and Domestic Violence (KDRT) Batu X Village in East Tanjungpinang, Riau Islands Province due to the issue of violence against women in their position as daughters, wives, members of a community both physically and psychologically. nowadays it is increasingly happening in society, sometimes it is considered commonplace and is not resolved in the realm of state law. In particular, in a household bond, it shows that domestic violence against the wife, this is certainly inseparable from the social construction that develops in society that the husband is the husband. a man who is considered superior, is the leader and head of the family, has full authority over his family, including his wife. The method of this activity is socialization in the form of lectures, discussions and questions and answers. The result of this activity is that it is necessary to carry out continuous education for the community on the protection of women and domestic violence (KDRT).

Abstract

Aspek perkembangan anak usia dini harus dikembangkan dengan baik. Anak-anak sangat menyukai kegiatan yang bersifat aktif dan menyenangkan. Kegiatan yang menyenangkan tersebut seperti kegiatan menggunakan Bussy book. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberi pelatihan pembuatan busy book dan mengetahui respon guru di TK Negeri Pembina Kab. Padang Pariaman mengenai pelatihan pembuatan busy book. Metode kegiatan pengabdian  masyarakat ini menggunakan metode ceramah, demontrasi, metode tanya jawab dan melakukan praktik bimbingan kelompok untuk anak usia dini. Kepala sekolah dan guru sangat antusias dalam pembuatan busy book ini, karena dalam bussy book banyak sekali aspek yang dapat dikembangkan sehingga anak-anak akan merasa senang melakukan kegiatan menggunakan bussy book ini.

Abstract

Water is something important in life. Humans, animals and plants cannot continue their life without water. This service aims to determine the quality of Refill Drinking Water Bacteriologically according to the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010. The samples used two Depots A and B refilled drinking water, each water sample was taken in three processing sections, namely raw water, water after passing through the filter cartridge, and water after passing through Ultraviolet. The method used is Total Plate Number and Most Probable Number using 3 tubes. The results of the Bacteriological Examination of the Refill Drinking Water Examination showed a decrease in the number of bacteria in the Refill Drinking Water treatment, and the Most Probable Number (MPN) of Escherichia Coli. This indicates that the refill drinking water at the two depots was not found to have bacteriological contamination. One of the efforts to prevent microbiological pollution is to always carry out maintenance, use standard equipment, and select good raw water, in order to maintain product quality so that it does not endanger consumers or the surrounding community.

Abstract

Community service is one form of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education that must be carried out by lecturers as a form of implementing knowledge possessed by schools, institutions or the surrounding community. The purpose of this community service is to provide an understanding of the information technology education process and provide an understanding of the operating system of Islamic banks. The method used in the service is the method of presentation and discussion of students at SMK Hang Nadim Batam. There are several majors at Hang Nadim Vocational School in Batam, such as the Department of Accounting, Light Vehicle Engineering, Electronics and Computers. The results of the service carried out are Increasing students' understanding of basic information technology and being able to use the technology; Students can distinguish the roles and functions of Islamic banks and conventional banks so that they can choose to use bank products and services in saving and investing or invest.
