Abstract

Financial management system and wood inventory at UD. Anugrah Limbah often faces problems that can affect operational efficiency and accuracy. Problems that arise include the fact that financial recording and wood inventory is still done manually, making it vulnerable to double recording, miscalculations or loss of data as well as other problems. This research discusses the application of the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method in developing financial and wood inventory management applications. The aim of this research is to design and implement an application that can increase efficiency and accuracy in managing finances and wood supplies at UD. Anugrah Limbah. The Rapid Application Development method was chosen because of its advantages in accelerating the application development process through an iterative and collaborative approach, which allows end users to actively participate in every stage of development. The research results show that by using the Rapid Application Development method, applications can be developed in a shorter time with quality maintained. The resulting application has features such as recording financial transactions, monitoring wood supplies, and reporting that is integrated and easy to access.

Abstract

Sorghum is a plant belonging to the cereal group. It has the potential to be developed as a substitute food for rice. Has advantages related to water needs and tolerance for land that is experiencing drought. Sorghum is known for its tolerance to abiotic stress, especially in drought and hot weather. Environmental factors that influence sorghum growth include soil moisture and fertility, pests and diseases, abiotic stress, plant population, and weed competition, as well as planting distance. Sorghum plant growth can be grouped into three stages, namely, vegetative phase, reproductive phase, and seed formation and physiological maturity. This research aims to determine the yield of forage sorghum varieties of numbu with different planting distances and locations. This research was carried out in two district locations in Lampung Province, namely Central Lampung and Pringsewu. The materials used in this research were Numbu variety sorghum seeds, Urea fertilizer, KCl fertilizer, and SP-36 fertilizer. Meanwhile, the tools used in this research were tractors, hoes, measuring tapes, raffia ropes, corsets, jugs, back sprayers, rulers/meters, ovens, digital scales, hoses, sorghum harvester knives, crowbars, and SPAD 502 plus chlorophyll meters. The conclusion of this research is that the planting distance at two different locations in Lampung Province does not affect sorghum green yields, and the planting distance of 80cm x 20cm at the two research locations can be used to optimize agricultural land and increase farmer income.

Abstract

This research aims to compare the performance of two types of recurrent neural network models, Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU), in forecasting gold prices based on historical closing price data. Historical gold price data from December 14, 2017, to March 14, 2024, was downloaded using the yfinance library. The data was normalized using MinMaxScaler and split into training and testing sets with an 80:20 ratio. LSTM and GRU models were constructed with two recurrent layers followed by a Dense layer for output. Both models were trained using the training data and evaluated using Mean Squared Error (MSE), Mean Absolute Error (MAE), and R-squared (R²) metrics. The experimental results indicate that the GRU model outperformed the LSTM model in predicting gold prices. GRU achieved an MSE of 337.70, MAE of 14.05, and R² of 0.933, whereas LSTM achieved an MSE of 808.98, MAE of 22.71, and R² of 0.839. Based on the model performance evaluation, it can be concluded that GRU consistently produced more accurate predictions closer to the actual values of gold prices compared to LSTM. This finding suggests that GRU may be a preferable choice in applications for forecasting gold prices using historical data.

Abstract

Website-based information systems can be utilized as a means to provide quick and accurate information. One of the madrasas that has utilized a website-based information system is MIN 7 Tangerang, which has achieved numerous accolades. On the school's website, users can obtain information about the madrasa. Due to the abundance of information provided on the website, the madrasa administration must ensure data accuracy by conducting an information system audit. The objective of the information system audit is to assess the audit findings on the website for application refinement and to evaluate the implementation of the information system audit for website maintenance at the madrasa. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection is conducted through observation and interviews. The interviewees in this study are the auditees, specifically the administrators of the MIN 7 Tangerang website. The research findings reveal eleven audit findings on the madrasa's website, indicating existing deficiencies that require follow-up audits for further refinement and maintenance of the website. In conclusion, the research aims to ascertain audit findings for website application refinement and to evaluate the implementation of information system audit results for the maintenance of the madrasa's website.

Abstract

Waste-to-Energy (WtE) technology offers an innovative solution to improve sustainable waste management, especially in areas with significant waste management challenges such as Nganjuk Regency. This study explores the opportunities for implementing WtE in Nganjuk to reduce waste volume, reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and provide alternative energy sources. By utilizing technologies such as incineration, pyrolysis, and gasification, WtE facilities can convert waste into renewable energy, reduce dependence on landfills, and reduce methane emissions that contribute to global warming. The results show that WtE implementation can generate environmental and economic benefits, including providing energy for local communities and reducing waste management costs. Community education and active participation in recycling and waste sorting programs are also key to the success of WtE implementation. Government policy support and incentives are identified as important factors in facilitating the adoption of this technology. This study provides important insights for the development of sustainable waste management strategies in Nganjuk and can serve as a model for other areas facing similar challenges. The recommendations provided include increasing cooperation between the government, private sector, and communities to maximize the potential of WtE technology in supporting sustainable development and climate change mitigation. Considering the composition of waste which mostly comes from household waste, where 61.5% is organic waste, the right WtE technology is a biodigester

Abstract

Dukuh Papringan, Sleman, Yogyakarta, is an urban area predominantly inhabited by university students from various institutions. These students hold a strategic role in promoting the adoption of renewable energy to reduce dependence on fossil fuels, which leads to high energy costs and significant carbon emissions. This study aims to analyze the potential of renewable energy in Dukuh Papringan, its economic, social, and environmental benefits, and the role of students in supporting the implementation of clean energy technologies. The research employs a qualitative approach through interviews, field observations, and secondary document analysis. The findings indicate that Dukuh Papringan has significant solar energy potential, with an average radiation of 4.8–5.5 kWh/m²/day, along with opportunities for organic waste processing into biogas. The implementation of renewable energy technologies can reduce energy costs by up to 30% and carbon emissions by 40%. Students act as educational agents, initiators of community projects, and researchers in clean energy technology innovation. The success of renewable energy adoption requires synergistic support from the government, universities, and the private sector. Dukuh Papringan has the potential to serve as a model for sustainable energy management in urban areas, contributing to national targets for carbon emission reduction and accelerating the transition to clean energy.
