Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged institution education to adopt digital systems to improve quality services and dissemination of information to community. MTs Al- Washliyah Sei Mencirim Still facing obstacles in delivering school information and the Admissions process Participant New Student Admissions (PPDB) which is mostly carried out conventionally, so it is less effective and efficient in data management and service to candidate participant This research aims to design and build a School Profile Website and Admissions System Participant Web- based New Student Admissions (PPDB) for increase effectiveness information services and registration process participant new students. The system development method used is Waterfall which consists of from stages requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system was developed using the PHP programming language, MySQL database, and the Bootstrap framework to support the display. responsive interface. System testing is carried out using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that all The system functions according to user needs. The research results show that that the system built is able to provide school information more quickly and easily accessible to the public, simplifying the registration process participant new students online, as well as assisting administrators in managing registration data in a structured and integrated manner. All system features successful running well based on the results of the tests conducted. Thus, the implementation of the school profile website and web- based PPDB system can be increase quality service education and support the improvement Power competition of MTs Al- Washliyah Sei Mencirim in the digital era.

Abstract

Student learning concentration is one of the key factors influencing academic achievement and the effectiveness of the learning process. However, monitoring students' concentration levels manually is often subjective and challenging, especially in classrooms with a large number of students. This study aims to implement a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model for facial expression detection to classify the learning concentration levels of Senior High School (SMA) students. The research employs a quantitative experimental approach using facial image datasets collected during classroom learning activities. The dataset undergoes several preprocessing stages, including face detection, cropping, image resizing, and pixel normalization before being used for model training. The CNN architecture is designed to automatically extract facial features and classify students' concentration levels into three categories: high, medium, and low concentration. Model performance is evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. The experimental results indicate that the CNN model is capable of recognizing facial expression patterns related to learning concentration effectively and achieving high classification performance. Furthermore, the developed system provides a more objective and efficient approach for monitoring student concentration compared to conventional observation methods. Therefore, the implementation of CNN-based facial expression recognition has significant potential to support intelligent educational systems and improve learning evaluation processes in school environments.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based employee performance monitoring information system at UPT PEPENDA Medan Selatan to address data management issues that are still carried out manually, such as processing delays and low data accuracy. The method used in this study is Prototype, which allows system development through the creation of an initial model that can be evaluated gradually by users. The system was developed using the Laravel framework with a Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture and supported by a MySQL database. The results of the study show that the system is able to automate the employee performance monitoring process, accelerate data processing, and produce structured and real-time reports. Thus, the system built can improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in managing employee performance monitoring.

Abstract

A routine activity carried out by students and teachers before the teaching and learning process is attendance. Attendance is one of the important components used as a benchmark for assessing attendance and performance. Attendance activities, especially in schools, tend to still use manual methods. So there are still frequent errors in recapitulation and recording of attendance. One of the microcontroller components that supports attendance activities is the ESP 32 Cam. Therefore, research was conducted to create an effective and easy-to-use attendance system based on the ESP 32 Cam. The ESP 32 Cam has the advantage of being equipped with a camera and wifi so that teachers who will take attendance are required to record facial images. This minimizes the occurrence of fraud in the attendance process. Furthermore, the Firebase Database functions as a storage place for teacher attendance data. Firebase Database is a service that provides a cloud-based data storage application in JSON format. In addition, Firebase Database also has the advantage of real-time data synchronization. After conducting research, the ESP32 Cam is not equipped with a good operating system for managing system files. Therefore, the author tried to conduct research by developing a teacher attendance system with the ESP 32 Cam and Firebase Database. The attendance process begins with the administrator registering or recording a facial image. The attendance process is then carried out by bringing the face close to the ESP 32 Cam camera. The identified facial recording is then sent and stored in the Firebase Database. The results of this study indicate that the attendance system can only be used by teachers who have previously registered and only covers teachers at one school.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an integrative model based on data mining and machine learning to analyze purchasing patterns and predict consumer product sales at CV. Mitra Ridge. The approach used combines the FP-Growth algorithm to discover product association patterns (frequent itemsets and association rules), XGBoost as a gradient boosting-based sales prediction model, and SHAP (SHapley Additive Explanations) to provide transparent interpretability of the model's prediction results. The data used is sales transaction data from October 2024 to September 2025, which includes 500 transactions with various types of consumer products. The results show that the integration of association pattern features from FP-Growth as additional input to the XGBoost model can improve prediction accuracy compared to a single XGBoost model without integration. SHAP analysis revealed that purchase frequency, product category, and product combination patterns are the most influential factors in sales prediction. This integrative model is proven to be superior in performance and provides deeper business insights, so it can be used as an operational decision support system in stock management, bundling strategies, and data-driven marketing planning in consumer retail companies.

Abstract

phones consume up to 15 Mbps of bandwidth allocation, laptops 18 Mbps, and computers 59 Mbps without any priority for CCTV. After implementing QoS through Simple Queue, mobile phone consumption was successfully limited to 4.7 Mbps, laptops to 7.6 Mbps, and computers to 28 Mbps, while CCTV was set as the main priority with a bandwidth distribution allocation of 60 Mbps. The results of this study prove that implementing bandwidth management with the QoS method is able to create a more stable connection, even distribution of internet, and according to the needs of each device

Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged various service businesses to adopt digital systems to improve operational efficiency, including in human resource management. Casysalon, as a business engaged in the beauty services sector, still faces obstacles in the employee attendance and payroll processes that are carried out manually, thus potentially causing recording errors, delays in salary calculations, and difficulties in monitoring employee attendance. This study aims to develop an online attendance application based on the Global Positioning System (GPS) and employee payroll at Casysalon using the Extreme Programming (XP) method. The XP method was chosen because it is able to support software development that is fast, flexible, and oriented to user needs through the stages of planning, design, coding, and testing. The developed application allows employees to record attendance online based on locations validated by GPS, while the admin can manage employee data, monitor attendance, and perform payroll calculations automatically. System testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method to ensure all functions run according to user needs. The results of the study indicate that the developed application is able to improve the accuracy of attendance recording, speed up the payroll process, reduce data processing errors, and facilitate management in supervising and managing employee data. Thus, the application of the Extreme Programming method succeeded in producing an effective and efficient application in supporting the employee attendance and payroll process at Casysalon.

Abstract

Vehicle maintenance is an important activity to maintain vehicle performance and extend the lifespan of vehicle components. However, many vehicle owners still record maintenance activities manually, causing difficulties in monitoring service schedules and determining the appropriate time for component replacement. This study aims to design and develop a web-based vehicle service recording application equipped with service schedule notification and component lifespan estimation features. The system was developed using the waterfall software development method and implemented using PHP and MySQL. The application provides vehicle data management, component lifespan estimation, and service report generation. System testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method. The results indicate that all application features function properly according to user requirements. The developed application can assist users in recording vehicle service history, monitoring maintenance schedules, and estimating component replacement periods effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Examination timetabling in vocational higher education is a combinatorial optimization problem involving courses, students, invigilators, classrooms, laboratories, and time slots. At AMIK Medicom, the schedule preparation process is still semi-manual, which may cause student conflicts, room conflicts, unbalanced invigilator assignments, and poor exam distribution. This study aims to design an examination timetabling optimization model by integrating Linear Programming (LP) and Simulated Annealing (SA). LP is used to formulate hard constraints to ensure schedule feasibility, while SA is applied to improve schedule quality based on soft constraints, such as exam spread and room utilization. The dataset consists of 29 lecturers, student data from academic years 2021/2022 to 2024/2025, and curricula from three study programs with 154 courses in total. The proposed design shows that the model can transform the examination timetabling problem into structured decision variables, objective functions, and mathematical constraints. In the prototype testing scenario, the LP-SA approach is directed to produce a timetable with zero hard-constraint conflicts and lower soft-constraint penalties compared with semi-manual preparation. The model can serve as a basis for developing a web-based automatic examination scheduling system to improve academic administrative efficiency at AMIK Medicom.

Abstract

Teknologi kini sudah menjadi bagian kehidupan sehari-hari masyarakat, termasuk bagaimana peran teknologi di masyarakat untuk menyampaikan aspirasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif untuk mengumpulkan data dari beberapa narasumber yang merupakan masyarakat di Kelurahan Jati Karya. Masyarakat masih melakukan pengaduan secara manual dengan menyampaikan keluhan kepada ketua lingkungan atau menulis laporan lalu diserahkan pada kantor kelurahan. Proses ini tidak hanya menghabiskan waktu namun juga tidak efisien dan efektif dalam penanganan pengaduan. Sistem layanan pengaduan masyarakat (SI-LAPMAS) menjadi solusi untuk mengatasi masalah ini dengan melakukan pengembangan platform berbasis web untuk menyampaikan keluhan secara langsung dan real-time. Implementasi SI-LAPMAS ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pengolaan data pengaduan, meminimalisis kehilangan data pengaduan serta mempercepat proses penanganan pengaduan keluhan masyarakat. Metode pengembangan sistem ini menggunakan Metode Prototyping dengan aplikasi Figma. Penelitian ini menghasilkan Sistem Layanan Pengaduan Masyarakat berbasis web yang dapat diakses kapan saja dan dimana saja yang memiliki notifikasi real-time untuk membantu petugas untuk memberitahuan masyarakat proses penanganan laporan.
