Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja logistik pada proses outbound di PT. DSV Solutions Indonesia melalui pendekatan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Fokus utama penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi potensi kegagalan dalam pengiriman barang, seperti kesalahan pengiriman dan keterlambatan penjemputan oleh vendor. Metode penelitian yang digunakan mencakup observasi langsung, wawancara semi-terstruktur, serta studi literatur untuk memperoleh data yang komprehensif. Hasil analisis FMEA menunjukkan bahwa kelalaian karyawan saat pengiriman dan penjadwalan yang tidak teratur merupakan dua sumber kegagalan utama dengan nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN) tertinggi, yaitu 210. Faktor lain yang turut memengaruhi adalah kondisi gudang yang tidak tertata, kesalahan proses pengepakan, dan kurangnya pelatihan bagi pengemudi. Rekomendasi perbaikan difokuskan pada penyusunan SOP yang jelas, pelatihan berkala, pengelolaan beban kerja, serta penerapan sistem penjadwalan terintegrasi. Pendekatan sistematis ini diharapkan mampu menekan tingkat kesalahan pengiriman, meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, dan mendukung peningkatan kualitas layanan logistik di industri telekomunikasi

Abstract

Krisis energi global menjadikan konsumsi energi sebagai isu penting, khususnya di sektor industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengurangi dampak lingkungan dari penggunaan energi pada unit thresher di Koperasi Kareb Bojonegoro melalui penerapan Life Cycle Energy Analysis (LCEA). Metode penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga tahap yaitu penentuan tujuan dan ruang lingkup, analisis inventori, serta penilaian dampak lingkungan (LCIA) menggunakan perangkat lunak SimaPro. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi konsumsi energi listrik selama proses produksi dan dampak lingkungannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dampak lingkungan tertinggi berasal dari kategori respiratory inorganics, climate change, dan carcinogens dengan total skor dampak sebesar 3,33 Pt. Sumber utama dampak berasal dari penggunaan listrik yang sebagian besar bersumber dari pembangkit berbahan bakar fosil. Rekomendasi perbaikan yang diajukan adalah penggantian lampu penerangan konvensional dengan lampu hemat energi jenis LED di area unit thresher. Penggunaan lampu LED dapat mengurangi konsumsi energi tanpa mengurangi kualitas pencahayaan. Penerapan LCEA terbukti efektif dalam mengidentifikasi dan menangani dampak lingkungan yang ditimbulkan oleh konsumsi energi di lingkungan industri

Abstract

Industri manufaktur menghadapi tekanan persaingan yang tinggi, sehingga perusahaan perlu menerapkan sistem pengendalian kualitas yang tepat untuk menekan jumlah produk cacat dan meningkatkan efisiensi produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi proses pengendalian kualitas pada produksi kursi penumpang K1 di PT IMS Trading Madiun. Metode penelitian ini mengunakan penerapan seven tools of quality control yang meliputi check sheet, histogram, pareto chart, fishbone diagram, scatter diagram, control chart, dan flowchart. Peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar kecacatan produk disebabkan oleh pengelasan yang tidak rapi, gangguan pada mekanisme reclining, serta cacat pada lapisan logam. Analisis lebih lanjut mengungkap bahwa sumber kecacatan berasal dari aspek manusia, metode kerja, dan kondisi lingkungan. Penerapan metode ini secara sistematis terbukti membantu perusahaan dalam mengidentifikasi akar penyebab masalah secara tepat dan menyusun langkah-langkah perbaikan secara menyeluruh. Dengan demikian, perusahaan berpeluang menurunkan tingkat produk cacat dan meningkatkan daya saing di sektor manufaktur perkeretaapian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan prototipe alat bantu olahraga Sit Up guna meningkatkan kesiapan otot perut atlet Jujitsu Dojo Wijaya Putra. Perancangan dilakukan sebagai bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam implementasi Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi oleh dosen Universitas Wijaya Putra. Pengembangan dilakukan dalam dua tahap: prototipe digital menggunakan perangkat lunak SolidWorks 2023 SP5, serta prototipe fisik untuk pengujian nyata di lapangan. Simulasi analisa kekuatan material dilakukan dengan metode statik untuk mengevaluasi keamanan struktur desain. Fokus utama terletak pada komponen Plat Dudukan yang terdiri dari 2 Plat U, 1 Poros Penghubung, dan 1 Plat Segitiga Radius, yang disambung menggunakan las. Pengujian kekuatan material dilakukan dengan pembebanan 1.000 N pada permukaan Plat Segitiga Radius. Hasil analisa menunjukkan nilai faktor keamanan sebesar 4.7, menandakan bahwa desain aman digunakan dan siap untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut. Prototipe ini mendukung latihan mandiri yang efektif bagi atlet dan dapat digunakan dalam berbagai kondisi latihan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze consumer behavior towards online transaction activities using the Red Ocean Strategy and Blue Ocean Strategy approaches on the digital banking application "SeaBank." The study was conducted by sampling students from UPY. The research method used is quantitative with descriptive analysis. The results show that approximately 23% of UPY students have used SeaBank as their digital banking tool. The majority of SeaBank users (52%) are new users with less than one year of experience, while other application users (47%) tend to be long-term users. The frequency of application use shows that most students use e-wallets 1-3 times a week (49%) and 4-7 times a week (29%). User satisfaction levels for SeaBank in terms of security are as follows: very satisfied 48%, satisfied 35%, and neutral 17%. For convenience, very satisfied 39%, satisfied 44%, and neutral 17%. For ease of use, very satisfied 56%, satisfied 22%, and neutral 22%. Based on this research, it is recommended that SeaBank increase promotions through social media and referral programs, optimize transaction speed and security, and consider integrating additional features to add service value and keep up with the latest trends in digital finance.

Abstract

The Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic has precipitated a paradigm shift in numerous facets of life, including educational institutions. In response to these challenges, governments have adopted online learning systems as a means to continue educational activities during periods of lockdown or social distancing. The implementation of online learning has been accompanied by a range of both advantages and disadvantages. As the rate of new infections began to decrease, the government permitted the resumption of in-person classes, albeit with a limited number of students. In response to this shift, Maitreyawira Junior High School Batam swiftly transitioned to a dual -shift learning model, effectively dividing students into two groups to ensure uninterrupted education. The objective of this study is to assess the mental load using the NASA-TLX (National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index) method and the level of fatigue using the SOFI (Swedish Occupational Fatigue Index) method. The objective of this study is to assess the mental load experienced by teachers during the period of remote learning due to the pandemic. The results of this study indicate that the level of mental load and mothers at Maitreyawira Junior High School Batam is in a very high category with a NASA-TLX score of 87.5 and the SOFI dimension of fatigue was moderate with score of 62,57.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the possibility of implementing the load cell to automatically monitor the inventory stock level. The study involved accuracy, repeatability and linearity testing of the sensor in measuring the weight of the loaded items which then translated into the number. Results shows that the model successfully counts the dynamic stock level loaded onto the shelf and record the timestamps of stock changes during a period of time. On the aspect of weight measurement, there are slight error observed during the experiment, ranging from 1% to 7%. However, the error number is not merely enough for consideration, especially that the nature light weight of the object, that is only 5.5 grams. This study presents a new approach to test the system by presenting the accuracy, repeatability and linearity test. Besides, the system is meant to be attached on the shelf for calculating the actual inventory level, unlike the other study which use the loadcell for frontline stock measurement mechanism. Furthermore, this study successfully provides a real-time inventory system which able to record the timestamp everytime there is a change on the stock level, unlike the other study which only informs during minimum or maximum limit. With those findings, the study enrich the discussion of using this IoT system for stock monitoring.

Abstract

Article history : The rapid growth of the tourism industry, especially in Indonesia, has positively impacted various other sectors. This growth has indirectly spurred the development of supporting businesses, predominantly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), such as tourist transportation rentals. Rising tourist demands for transportation necessitate that entrepreneurs in this industry adapt quickly, including investing in the latest vehicle units. However, investing in new vehicles is challenging, especially for small-scale rental owners. They must carefully calculate their investment, considering various potential risks. Therefore, this study recommends alternatives for new vehicle investments in tourist transportation rentals based on BWM and SAW. A case study on small-scale rental businesses in Yogyakarta has been selected. The results indicate that five criteria must be considered for new vehicle investments in tourist rentals: vehicle type (C1), fuel consumption (C2), engine specifications (C3), rental price (C4), product lifetime (C5), and price (C6). The optimal weights of these criteria are determined using BWM to rank five investment alternatives: KIZ, HIC, AVZ, BRI, and SGR. The findings suggest KIZ as the potential top investment priority, followed by AVZ, BRI, SGR, and HIC.

Abstract

This research is an application of the simplex algorithm in the agricultural sector. The variables of this study are the number of trees that must be planted from the following types of plants: servo tomatoes (Solanum Lycopersicum), bonanza corn (Zea Mays Saccharata Sturt), red chili (Capsicum Annum L), purple eggplant (Solanum Melongena L), and kabocha pumpkin (Cucurbita Maxima L.). The objective function is how much maximum profit is known by knowing the profit parameters for each tree. At the same time, the constraint function is the limitation of resources including land area, water requirements, and production costs. This study aims to determine the optimum profit of open-field agricultural products as well as to find out how many trees should be planted in a planting season plan. This type of research is quantitative and uses data collection methods, namely observation and interviews. The optimization method used is a linear program with the simplex method with the help of the LINGO 19.0 application. The results of the study obtained a maximum profit of Rp. 76,422,000. This value is Rp 8,605,750 greater than the farm's planning. The optimal number of trees to be planted is 950 (tomatoes), 1250 (corn), 550 (red chili), 591 (eggplant), and 319 (pumpkin).

Abstract

Daerah Samosir terletak di wilayah dataran tinggi, memiliki jenis tanah topografi dan kontur tanah berbukit dan bergelombang dengan iklim tropis memiliki kelembaban udara rata-rata 85%, yang menyebabkan Samosir rawan longsor. Dinas lingkungan hidup dan kehutanan Provinsi Sumatera Utara melakukan program penghijauan lingkungan sebagai penyangga lahan rawan longsor kepada BPBD Kabupaten Samosir. Tujuan distribusi bibit yang optimal untuk mencari rute terdekat dari pengiriman bibit, proses penentuan rute distribusi menggunakan metode Ant Colony System sehingga dapat menjaga kualitas bibit yang di salurkan. Hasil rute yang diperoleh pada sembilan kecamatan rawan lonsor di Samosir memiliki jarak tempuh 218,7 km algoritma Ant Colony System (ACS) dapat digunakan pada kasus yang serupa karena telah teruji berhasil pada kasus ini.
